It is raining here again. Cold and rainy is not a great way to start the weekend. I'm so envious of the upcoming trips. It is with great jeolousy that I say:

I purchased the rest of our flights for our Aug. trip, they were on sale for $99! The 4th & the 6th were both on sale, but I decided to go with arriving on the the 6th. This still gives us nine nights, now I need to decide if I want to stay with PC or try CSR. Money wise PC is a better choice, But I like the looks of CSR. I am really hoping that an AP rate comes out, this would help!

I have all of our ADR's made, still not decided on the DP yet either.

Our official dates are Aug. 6th - 15th

Gary & Riley left a while ago to buy some paint. I guess I need to get moving & be ready for him to start on the living room. When I return from my trip the living room will look so different!

I love eating at our dining room table. It is counter top height & makes such a difference. We have been bad & gotten into the habit of eating in the living room, but with new furniture arriving that will be no more

Gary's swelling has gone down quite a bit & he looks much better today & at the moment I am feeling pretty good. Thank you all for the

Day 4 April 23

We slept like babies. Today was our second day at Castaway Cay. Dana & I had our Palo brunch planned for 10:30 but I did not want to leave the kids on the island (where the have the club) while we were on the ship, so I cancelled it. I know, I am an idiot, but if we had kept the sea day then they would have gone to the club onboard. We decided to stay on board & enjoy the less crowded ship which we did. We all like being on the ship rather than the going to the ports. We had breakfast at Parrot Cay which was very good. Dana & I liked PC better for breakfast but the kids like BBB.

Katie has always wanted to get her hair braided & I have always said no. Today when we saw them doing the braiding on deck 9 I said yes. She was so excited. Sophie saw what Katie was doing & asked for the braid too so they both got it done. I think they like having the braid so they can show their friends they went somewhere tropical on vacation.

Dana took Daniel off to play basketball & ping pong. Daniel loved the sports deck so much.
After that we all met back at Mickey's pool. We grabbed some chairs & relaxed while the kids were in the pool. I think they were in there for about 3 hours. We had lunch by the pool. They have nice wraps, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, cole slaw, & fresh fruit.

I took a walk up to deck 10 to take some pictures.

This was our last full day on our cruise & I was so sad to see it end. Thankfully we still had the kids surprise to look forward too.

By 3:30pm we started back to the cabin & i took these shots along the way. The Wonder really is a beautiful ship.

Dana & were excited as the moment to tell the kids we were going to Disneyworld was aoon approaching. I had made shirts for them that say "surprise, we're going to Disney" on them & was going to just give them the shirts the morning we left. However Chanon suggested I ask our server to put them on a plate with a cover & have them open them up at the last dinner. THANKS again Chanon for this fantastic idea!!!!!
So I gave Galina our shirts. We had a nice dinner & then she announced it was time for dessert. Daniel immediately grabbed a spoon as he thought there was an edible treat under there! Galina said, now you can open!!! Daniel went crazy, he couldn't stop laughing & saying thank you. He came right over & gave me such a squeeze. Sophie kept saying "for real?" & was thrilled when she realized it was for real. Katie kept giggling & I knew she already knew because she saw all the dates blocked out on my calendar. Everyone was watching us & the kids who were sad to leave the ship now had 5 more days of Disney magic to look forward too. It was such a fun moment!!

Yesterday when I bought our tickets to Dallas the flights were nonstop. Today we have a stop in Atlanta and our departure times have changed by an hour and a half earlier going and 3 hours earlier leaving. I hope they change the schedule again.

Congrats on good airfare!
Waiting for AP rates is getting old. I expect they will release some this month, but they will only cover up through Aug. 2. The round we need probably won't come out until June.
I hope I can get an AP rate for nights 4-9 and add Dining. Then I am not sure what to do about nights 10-16. I really want DH to be able to do a fishing excursion, and it would be so much easier to do if we are at a hotel with a boat dock! Availability at WL isn't very good for that whole block, so I might split the ressie AGAIN and do a few more nights at AKL without dining, then move to WL just for the last 4 nights. I am probably begging for trouble if I do it that way.

Wow! That's not good! What airline are you on? I don't know if it would be better to try to fix it now while there are still seats open on other flights, or wait and see what the final schedule shakes out to be.

I decided to look at our flights to make sure we don't have any surprises. The flight going to MCO has dropped $27, but the one coming home has gone up $5 so waiting to buy DH's ticket wouldn't have made much difference.

who: family and our chosen family (that's here in Littleton...though if anybody is in the area come join us )

what: chick fil a (a couple of chicken trays, sweet tea and lemonade), fruit and veggie tray. 3 customized desserts (my BF makes everybody whatever their hearts desire for their birthday): carrot cake, marble cake and cheesecake bites.

where: grandparents patio

when: next saturday afternoon/evening

We'll go by Costco today to see if they have the Disney party packs still if not I will pick up princess items for party ware!!


We are now going to stimulate the economy with a little of our stimulus check (most is going into trying to save the house). Abi has grown so much in the last month that nothing fits her anymore So we need to cover the belly until the end of the school year and then summer clothes!! (she hates shopping!!)
