DDA Chapter 7

I want to scream! We got our Mickey Monitor today (for Annual Passholders). I waited and waited to purchase my Cirque du Soleil tickets waiting to see if they had a discount. I finally purchased them about a week ago. Guess what? There is now a 25% discount for Cirque du Soleil tickets through the end of June for Annual Passholders. That would have been more than $150 savings for my mother (who bought the tickets).

So i just woke up and was sore ---i fell asleep on the floor..i was lying on the floor on the computer and just fell asleep in an awkward position--so here i am
hahah

So I have been a lazy bum today.:goodvibes I have stuff to do but it is not happening. I added 7 books to my list at the library. I am not taking summer classes or probably classes in the fall again. I am not going camping at Bush kill falls as the troop is only renting one cabin now as several girls backed out and there is not any room.

Elizabeth- In iTunes, go to edit preferences and iPod and you should be able to set it back to the default to automatically sync the music.

This may incorrect as I do not have an iPod but I do use iTunes. I really should get an iPod the MP3 player I have the battery does not last long, it keeps locking up and is just not a pleasant experience. I use it petty often. Then again I have yet to replace my quickly dying cell phone. I also would like an underwater camera or DSLR. I am definitely going through the wants which is not a good thing. Then again most of these things have been on the list for about a year or longer. So it is nothing new.;)

I should not really spend the money on those things. As I am booked as of yesterday on the DCL Panama canal Eastbound cruise. My parents had been booked since February for my Mom's 50th birthday and their 30th anniversary. Well her actual birthday was yesterday and my brother and I finally got on board. My Mom's birthday wish was that my brother and I got on the ship as well, so she got her wish.

Now I have to get off from work. I am not sure how that will go as the actual cruise is August 17th to September 1st. It leaves from Los Angeles and ends in Port Canaveral, Florida. We hope to leave Thursday night August 14th, to allow extra time with the time change, and for a day or two at Disneyland. Everyone else is planning September 3rd to go back to work. That is 12 days off from work. Theoretically we could clip a day off from each end but it would be much better to have those extra days.

Since I truly have no vacation days, since HR messed up last year. I might not be able to go at all. Then again I have unused personal days. So who knows. I really want to go. Back when my first cruise was I wanted it to be Panama canal. So pixie dust and good thoughts that it works out would be greatly appreciated.

I think I off to read in front of the fire place. Yep, it is chilly so it is burning. What happened to May? It is supposed to be warm, shorts and t-shirt weather. But apparently mother nature missed the memo.

I've been a bum here today too. I just had no motivation this morning or really this afternoon either:) Congrats on the cruise. I'm sure you can use the break at the end of the summer.

I did manage to take out my sewing machine and made a little trash can cozie and a kleenex cozie to match the shower curtain that I made for the camper. They look cute out there. Now that room has the Disney touch :cool1: ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo :donald:

I got some laundry done. Sorted through the newspapers and got them in the recycling. And that is about it for me. I just can't get motivated either. I really need to get some stuff done since we are planning to leave for my sisters on Tuesday.

Ouch! :headache: Well, at least you got good seats!

I think I have managed to UNload the weird free songs from the iPod and put the "test" Disney songs on it. Now we are all arguing over who the iPod belongs to and what songs should go on it. I think if DS planned to claim it he should have done so before now. But now that I am playing with it he wants it back. :rolleyes1

Have a wonderful time Elin!

OK, headed to Richmond in about an hour. Kristin's final production of her senior independent study play ("Masculist") is tonight so we are going down a little early to take her to dinner and then we will watch the show. I probably won't check in until tomorrow morning. Enjoy the day and evening, everyone!

Just in case... Janet and Bernadette - HAVE MAGICAL TRIPS!!!

Hope you are able to get the time off Becky! :wizard:

Can someone post Glynis' pot roast recipe again? We are going to try it with a pork roast tomorrow. I promise I'll get it printed and saved in my recipe file this time. I couldn't print to my wireless printer from my old laptop. Now, that I have the new one, I can print anytime. That has really been nice!

Riley & his team played their 1st game this afternoon & they started the season great by winning :thumbsup2

It was so windy & cold out there though, I watched the game from inside my truck :rolleyes1

We decided not to start painting the living room or dining room till our furniture arrives. We now think the color we picked for one room will look better in the other & vice versa. I guess it will be a surprise when I get home! So Gary is painting our entryway now.

I need to do more laundry & wash the dishes, but what I really want to do is sleep.

Becky - the cruise sounds great! I think it might be good for you to take a few semesters off. You can always take more classes next Spring!

Janet - Congrats to Riley!

Today is our 90 day mark! :yay: I wish it was closer!

I just got my hair cut. It is shorter in the front than I really wanted it, but the back is good. I hope I can manage to make it look normal when I have to style it myself.

Thanks everyone. :goodvibes

Have a safe and fun time, Janet and Bernadette.
Please tell Pooh and Mickey hello for me.

so as you guys know, my brother and i are pretty close in age--were 20 months apart...we fight, but its usually playfully--i think we get along well for a brother/sister..
Today, hes surprised me twice. First, my family went to a communion party and as he was leaving, he gve me a little hug--he NEVEr hugs me..at all..so it was sweet--even my mom was surprised.
Then, i was just sitting here and he asked if i wanted to go with him to get gas in his new motorcycle...he just got it last week and i hadnt been on it yet--it was awesome--we were laughing and joking the entire time

I know its litlte stuff,b ut it just made me feel closer to my brother--we play fight all the time and hes never serious so it was nice today :goodvibes:
