Thank you Marci!

Glad to hear the service went well

I hope you feel much better tomorrow. Ditto for Gary.

Sending you tons of PD for a magical trip!

The service for our friend was beautiful, and a true testament to her strong faith and how she lived her life. :goodvibes

Good night everyone! :)

Thank you Robyn!

Have fun trying to keep the secret :ssst:

Janet and Bernadette- Have an absolutely magical time on your trips. Can't wait to hear all about them.

For those I missed, :wizard: and 's

The nap did help! Since I woke up I have cleaned out the bathroom closet & medicine cabinet & have done 3 loads of laundry. Might as well do it while I have the energy lol

I hope you both feel better. Napping was a great idea. You need to be in top form for your trip :thumbsup2

:cool1: for a good night at work!

Work was really good. Dartmouth College is in the next town over and it was apparently Parent's weekend. We were much busier than we had been. I waited on 41 people :cool1: :cool1: That couldn't have come at a better time. Maybe someone will call in tomorrow night and I will get to work  :wizard:

Poor Emma, sorry to hear she is having such a rough time. Hope you & Eric can help her get through this

Well we found out today that Emma's teacher will be out until the first week of June, which happens to be the last week of school.

It is truly wreaking havoc on Emma. She is having major emotional outbursts- she spent the entire day at school today in tears over "a deceased aunt" (that's what the sub told Eric this afternoon) It infuriates me that they let her cry the whole day. My neighbor was at the school this afternoon- the 5th graders played softball against the teachers so she was there- called here and somehow I missed her call. :sad1: We are also having issues with her work, her test grades aren't as great as they were before all this. She brings home 100's after 100's on all of her tests. Today she brought home a 60. She is missing spelling words on her tests. It's not a big deal to Eric and I as we know why they aren't as good as before but she is upset with herself. I sure hope this doesn't affect her love for school.

And then there are the tummy troubles. When things are stressing her she routinely complains of a tummy ache. It's an all day every day complaint lately. I've talked to one other mom and her DD is having the same issues as is another girl.

I plan to call the school on Monday and see if Emma can get in to see the guidance counselor. We talk about it a lot but it seems that nothing Eric or I do is helping her.

 I am so sorry Emma is having a rough time! I hope the counselor can talk with her and help her feel better!
Do you think she would like to do a countdown to the last day, or would that make things worse? I tell DS all the time how many days are left. 22 days isn't bad at all. Except that he has at least 2 big projects to complete and he is just sort of "coasting" already. He is ready for summer.

I have reinstalled PhotoImpact on my new laptop. I haven't had in on my machine for almost a year. I'm going to spend some time playing with it while I'm at my sister's.

Vicki - What is PhotoImpact? I found some sort of editing thing that is a built-in part of the Windows Photo Gallery, and my laptop has Picasa 2 on it. I told DH we aren't buying photo software.

I had the weirdest dream about DS. Now I am WIDE awake. I was at WDW with him, and we were riding BTMRR. The CM said we (our whole train) had been chosen for the extended version with bonus features. The "bonus" was that it went upside down! :upsidedow The ride kept stopping so they could talk about how each section was developed. There was a phone in each seat, so DS picked up the phone to call DH. I got mad because there was a HUGE charge to use the phones. The CM assured me that the phones were set to only make calls within California, so it was fine. Then she had DS move across to a "special" seat. At the next stop they drenched him with water. :scared1: He was soaked! He was angry and freezing and humiliated, and I felt like it was my fault. The CM saw how upset he was and radioed for someone to have a dry shirt for him at the end of the ride. I told him we would go back to the hotel so he could change and have some lunch, then I woke up. Bizarre.

I think the guidance counselor is a great idea. :wizard: Does she have a permanent sub or is it someone different everyday?

Yes, Elizabeth. That is bizarre. But you might want to give Imagineering a call. ;) :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Hope the counselor can help.
