This cracks me up....I see you with one Lindsay...maybe even two! :rotfl2:

Kristine - love the gnome! Don't know that I could ever see myself with one, but I will look forward to pics of your new traveling companion!

I went to a different JoAnn's (farther from my office & home) last night as a coworker said she thought they had a better selection. I didn't think the selection was much better. I did buy more Cars fabric and she offered me what was left on the bolt at 75% off. I was hoping to find some racing checks for the lining on Emma's new shirt but the fabric they had was a poly blend and I like 100% cotton better. I bought some non Disney fabric to make Lizzy a shirt because they didn't have the Pooh fabric I was looking for. I was going to buy a few Butterick patterns at 2/$3 (instead of $5.99 each) but that 3 day only sale (Thu/Fri/Sat) isn't until next week.:headache: I stopped at the store closer to my house on the way home and they had the Pooh fabric so I got that and a plain white fabric to use as the lining. The clerk at this store offered me the remnant on the bolt at 50% off. It was only $1.99/yd so I didn't even ask why not 75%.:confused3 Then I went across the street to the only Walmart around here that still has fabric and found the checkered fabric in 100% cotton.

Lizzy LOVES the fabric! She wants a dress but I told her to let me make the shirt first.

Hopefully I'll get my machine back from the cleaning before next weekend and I can go back to JoAnn's for the Butterick patterns.

The kids are supposed to start soccer tomorrow but its pouring here today so I'm thinking it might get canceled. Lizzy goes 8:30 to 10:00, Joe goes 10:45 to 12:15 and Emma is 1:15 to 2:30.

Yummy! I'd like to try most of these. However, I also bolded my choices if I was having it for a reception. I did end up choosing 5 because I couldn't decide between the tuscan chicken and the apple stuff porked loin. I also almost choice the prime rib instead of the filet mignon. I finally chose the filet because Chuck makes me prime rib at home.

Keep 'em coming! I'll use this to show Bob the variety of types of food that people like!

You're right...too many choices! I'm known in my family for being a picky eater. I put my choices in bold. :)

I love the quote in your signature! I am watching the 1st Harry Potter movie right now. I'm exhausted for some reason and decided it was a day to watch Harry Potter!

Hello all. :wave2:

Just a quick check in.

Mom had complete knee replacement on March 27th, so there were more doctor visits before then.
3 days in the surgery center, and now I run back and forth during the day to take care of her, as Dawn works nights and is sleeping during the day.

Hope all is well with everyone. pixiedust: :grouphug: pixiedust: and :grouphug: all around.

Heidi

I need to get a different ticker, this one never stays. I am forever having to refresh my page to see it. :confused3

Hey Heidi! I'm so glad to see you check-in. I've been worrying about you. Hope your mom is up & around again soon.

Theresa, how are you handling all the new budding of spring?

My nose keeps running, my eyes itch and are sticky, I have a constant cough (people probably think I smoke :sad2:)

Hi Vicki

Mom is doing ok, but whenever she is up walking, her foot and ankle swell bad. Dawn is going to ask the doctor on her next visit.

we haven't had any budding....unless you count snow buds!!:lmao:

Although I think it might have been a factor yesterday in Abi's attack...though it was mainly exercise induced.
