Thanks! Do you know if you had the ticket that is about $50?

Hope your allergies and ulcer improve!
I bought the general admission, and then the Up Close tour. You can find discounts for the tickets -- try the budget board.
So, we had a minor miracle here last night. I haven't posted it outright (since you never know who else is reading our thread), but Jonathan has been working in Chicago for the last month, and was slated to come home last night. Of course, thanks to Kristine's post and another friend on the DIS, I knew that conditions were really bad, and getting worse.
Amazingly, he did make it out of Chicago last night, and was only about a half-hour late arriving home.

He said so many flights around his on the board kept getting cancelled or delayed, but for whatever reason, his flight remained "on time." I'm just so thankful that he's home, and safe.
(So Elizabeth, there is some hope for Momboss!)
I'm so glad he made it home. It sounds like you guys have had a relaxing weekend.

I wouldn't know much about hats either. I've worn my share of jeans and boots, but never hats.
would this dress be formal enough or not?
i got a HUGE surprise yesterday. i weighed myself and i lost 2 pounds. 6 pounds total since i started at the end of January. being sick and losing shocker helped with about 3 of those pounds
Pretty dress. Congrats on the weight loss! Keep it up! Sorry about the kitty -- I hope someone does take it in.
My mom called today to tell me there is something weird on her mammogram so she has to go for a consult with a surgeon on Wednesday. If you all could spare some PD for her that would be great. There is no history of breast cancer in our family at all, but it is still a concern.
Sending PD for your Mom!

I'm glad you are beginning to feel a little better and hope you are feeling much better tomorrow!
I am feeling really bummed. We were suppose to leave Monday to go to Ky. for the week. I just spoke with my uncle & he is to ill

He had triple by pass surgery & is very weak, so I do understand. I am just worried that I will never get to see him again & this makes me very sad.
I swear I feel like I just keep falling deeper & deeper into depression, something has got to give here. One minute I am up, the next I am down, frustrating.
I'm so sorry! I hope you manage to salvage the week. Sending PD for good weather and for your Uncle. Randy's oldes brother has had three open heart surgeries this past week and almost died. Luckily, he is doing much better and may even get out of ICU tomorrow. It's been a real rollercoaster, made worse because we couldn't go visit him and were relying on updates through the hospital and occasional updates from his wife. (She's super quiet and isn't a good communicator...very sweet, but a little strange...)
Well said. I hope the funk lifts.
I just sent out 80 some resumes right before i left for colorado..I sent to all schools within 45 min from my hosue in all directions! I have 2 interviews set up!
Good luck with the interviews! I hope many more schools call you. It sounds like you might be able to work out the cruise -- I sure hope so.
that sounds like a lovely time....I have been around rodeos most of my life...but I still wouldn't be able to tell if the hat is right
We went and spent some of the girls gc's at different spots today and then headed to the zoo. As we were headed out I started feeling rotten...at first I thought it was just a bad IBS episode but I do believe I am SICK.
I hope you are better.
I am feeling much better though I'm pretty tired here. We're just waiting for the bunny to come as the kids are pretty restless tonight. We're really looking forward to the treasure hunt tomorrow. I've made the clues and attached map pieces to each clue. Once they find them all they can assemble the maps and find their treasure chests. of course they'll still need to complete a word scramble to find their keys
The prep work is moving along though the dust is horrible. I had to run errands this afternoon and someone opened my bedroom door. Chris was sanding drywall and the dust filled our room. I was so upset when I got home as I have a dust allergy. We had to completely clean our room and wash the bedding (actually we are still doing that). That really put a damper on progress. Once the room was cleaned we wrapped the kids presents in gold paper and loaded the chests. That was actually a good way for me to calm down.
I hope you are feeling better. I'm so allergic to dust -- I can imagine what you were feeling when you came home and had to switch gears, clean up, plus face the possiblity that you would feel worse again.
WTG on the Easter projects -- you are so creative! I'm sure they loved the surprises.
Elin -- I'm glad you had a good trip/visit.
I'm not feeling worse, so that's a Blessing. I think I have a sinus infection, but the mouth ulcer is beginning to get better. I no longer talk funny.
I did e-mail Merrie to tell her I would be working from home tomorrow. That way, I can take more meds without having to worry about getting sleepy during the long commute, and since the boys will be home, I can have some more time with them. Sports died down because of Easter, but will gear up this week so it will be nice to spend time with them. I'll also get a lot of work done from home, as I won't be interrupted so often.
Sending PD and prayers to all of those sick or needing uplifted spirits!
