Day Four
Epcot
We werent in such a rush today but we still managed to get up early and arrived at the park pretty close to opening. I cant remember what we had for breakfast. It probably was shared breakfast platters from the food court eaten in the room. We found it a lot easier to have Eric get the meal and bring in back rather then lugging the girls to the food court. They are easily distracted so it would have wasted a ton of time.
Emma was adamant that we ride Test Track first. So we did just that. We got the child swap pass from the cast member and Eric took the girls first.
Lucy and I wandered around the gift shop, looked at all the cars and finally found a bench right outside the ride exit. We struck up a nice conversation with a grand mom who was there with her 3 teenage grand kids. When the 3 of them got off Molly said she hated it and did not want to go back on, but I dragged her back on. I know bad mommy! She has never been afraid of any ride ever, so I have no idea why she was having issues on this trip. Molly complained the whole time we were in line and I am sure that all the people around us must have thought I was a horrible mother! She survived and I am sure she even liked it, although you cant see her in the ride photo.
While we were on TT Eric and Lucy went and got FPs for Soarin. I called him on his cell as we were exiting and he told me where to meet him, he also told me to walk straight through Innoventions to get where he was. Well that backfired. I again decided that the scenic route was much better. The upside was that we came across Mary Poppins all alone.
We finally found Eric and Lucy. I really need to get a sense of direction. Eric and Emma rode Soarin so Mo, Lucy and I wandered around. The day was absolutely beautiful so we honestly just enjoyed being in the warm sunshine. I should have gotten Mo into modeling because all she wanted to do was pose for pictures.
When Eric and Emma got off Soarin we regrouped and then made our way to Nemo. The girls loved this ride. It was a first for all of us. I believe on our last trip it was under construction. We then waited for Turtle Talk with Crush. While waiting Lucy found 2 teenage boys and quickly got them under her spell. We talked with the parents and the boys, all very nice. The boys were just as infatuated with Lucy as she was with them. She really liked all of the pins on their lanyards. Emma was quite impressed that Crush was talking to people in the audience. Somehow the topic of bras came up and everyone was in stitches. Again, Molly refused to sit with Emma up front and stayed with Eric, Lucy and I. We thought this was the funniest thing.
After Crush we made our way over to Club Cool. I had read all about the different soda flavors and was really looking forward to catching the girls off guard. They are not allowed very much soda so I think the fact that we said they could have it made them like it. I think Mos favorite was the Beverly. I couldnt stomach any of them really.
We made a stop at the Baby Care centers for diaper changes. These are wonderful and we used them quite often. Emma and Molly liked watching cartoons- so much so that they did not want to leave.
