Just for ONE DAY can we call a moratorium on stupidity?
I called the insurance office about the car title. We DO have to go to the title office because we are adding a person to the title. OK, whatever.
On the billing issue...
Now the agent is saying she sent us a letter asking us if we wanted to keep the old policy! WTH is THAT?
The old policy was to be REPLACED with the new policy because the old one is EXPIRING! DH and I both sat in her office while she looked at the billing, and she said herself that the billing dept. failed to cancel the old policy when the new one took effect. She said to subtract the premiums we were charged for the old policy and they would adjust the bill. WHERE ON EARTH did this part about asking us if we want to KEEP it come from?? And we never got a letter! So now (supposedly) today they have sent in a request to cancel the old policy, retroactive back to December. We are SO going to end up having to pay that extra money.
I am quite certain that this is NEVER going to be fixed.

Otherwise no big plans for today.
Sure, I want to keep paying an exorbitant amount of money every month for a policy that is about to expire! I totally see us being held liable for all of the back months of premiums on the old policy because I just don't think ANYONE in that office is smart enough to fix it. They are all very adept at blaming other people, though. I told Youngster it frustrates me that I can not call Billing DIRECTLY to make absolutely sure my problems are fixed. She just yammered on about how they are doing their best to fix it blah blah blah. Yah, but it's NOT fixed, is it?
Slightly old news with an updated twist.

before I head back to work. Please let us know if there is anything we can do...
