DDA Chapter 3

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: I just spit water all over my computer screen! Glad I hadn't started dinner yet!

Oops. :rolleyes1

I managed to get the fabric wahed and dried. I ironed all the fabric and the pattern pieces which I cut out. I got it all pinned and the material is now cut into the proper peices. I will not have time to start sewing until Saturday. Hopefully I will get it all done this weekend. I also scanned the fabric into the computer in several different places so I have a wonderful assortment of scenes to use for the boys designs. Why can't I use this motivation to clean my house? :confused3

Because cleaning the house is neither fun nor mentally stimulating.

I need a form from the Pepsico website. It was set to remember DH's global ID and password. BUT it says the password has expired and we must reset it. We don't remember the password, it is autofilled with those dots! So I clicked "forgot password" and it asks all these inane questions, many of which I don't think we ever answered in the first place! How does it know what the right answer is if we never answered it? Anyway, now I am locked out of the Pepsico site and I have to call a number.:rolleyes1

I promise I read everything. All the sick kiddos have my good thoughts and all you crafty DDAers have my utmost admiration!

I hope no one else gets sick in any house anywhere in this big ole USA! And I hope your weather all works itself out very soon. For whatever you want it to be! :rotfl:

Jennifer - I wonder if Virginia is teething?

Robyn - Miss Lucy is just precious.

I meant to send some pixie dust and well wishes to all the sick DDA and their families. Haven't we passed this around long enough :confused3 Be gone sickies, we want our lives back :wizard:

Kathrin is headed back to Boston on Friday for a second interview with company #2. They loved her writing samples and she "passed" their caliper tests as they thought she would. She is required to meet with their CEO before they can offer her a job, so she is making a flying trip up there. I cannot believe her boss in Richmond STILL doesn't know what is going on! Good thoughts need to wing her way, please!!

:wizard: and good wishes for Kathrin

Momboss used to talk politics with Sister on occasion. All sentiments I fully agreed with, but outside of the house those opinions were not always popular. Sister liked to announce things to her classmates, and that was problematic.:rolleyes1

Our cake lady just called to confirm delivery of DS's cake!:dance3:
Exactly! I share his viewpoint mostly but I can see the other side. He seems to have no understanding of the other side. I don't know that Lizzy would say anything but I certainly don't think it appropriate for her to his one side of things-she's a bit too young to understand some of this.

Question for anyone that has gone on a disney cruise...does anyone happen to still hvae the navigators they get every day on the cruise?

I have the Eastern Navigators in my trip report, they start on page 9, post 125.

I also have the Western from my cruise not scanned in, but they and a whole bunch of others are available at castaway club . com under the navigator section. Remove the space between castaway and club and . com.

Well, they don't have the user manual for my sewing machine. So I'll have to decide what I'm going to do. The machine we have has a lot of features but I have NO idea how to use them and neither does my mother who has been sewing for years. We can do the basics but anything other than that is beyond us.

I think I'm heading to bed. I'm still not feeling great and I really need to get up early tomorrow.

Congrats on the milestone Miss Jennifer! :teeth: I agree with whomever posted that Virginia might be teething...either that or she found a new hobby! :rotfl:

Robyn - Lucy is just too cute!!!!

Feel better Vicki!

Here's my third attempt - my first two are on the other computer and Bob deleted them already. Go figure. It's not my favorite...there really are too many things to figure out at once with this thing! I need a manual. There has to be a "Dummies guide to Photoshop" right??

Night everyone!

that's a clueless boss....but congrats to Kathrin!!:thumbsup2

Congratulations on all the recent personal milestones!

Lots of good thoughts for Kathrin! :wizard:

Love the picture of Lucy! Matthew is such a sourpuss compared to your happy girl, Robyn! :goodvibes

Jennifer, I use bright colored curling ribbon on our luggage and stroller. I haven't had to replace it in years! :thumbsup2

Congrats to all the kiddos (and parents, too) for the good grades! We received Alyssa's first official preschool progress evaluation today. Apparently she needs to work on "using scissors with control." :rotfl:

Hope everyone feels better ASAP!

Hi everyone, I am sorry I have not been posting, I was so upset having to see us start a new thread. I just do not understand why it had to be done. I am unhappy that the old one cannot be found. I forgot to write down things I wanted to look up and now cannot remember what they were. I guess I just had a pi$$y attitude and wanted to whine, whine, whine.

I really am doing good. I did stay home yesterday because the bathroom and I became intimate friends all day. I had soup today for lunch but it did not like me. I came home and had tea and crackers tonight and rested on the recliner for a few hours with a few cuddly kitties making sure to lay on my belly which actually helped. Purring is so soothing. :goodvibes

So now I have to catch up.

Vicki,

That is just the cutest kitty ever. Looks like a love bunny.:goodvibes
