Cute card Elin, good morning

Good morning, Debbie. I am sorry you can't sleep, but your scrapbook page looks wonderful! You put those extra hours to good use this morning.

Hopefully I'll go back to sleep in a bit, I'm pretty disappointed in myself. I had my BG levels looking really good, I had more sugar yesterday than I should and my levels show it this morning. Here's another "can't sleep" page,

I have to get back to my PP project that I started before the scrapbbok craze, although I am adding some of the elements into the slide show.

Elin, congrats to your DD on getting both jobs.

Cool wine cooler. I may need to show that to my cousin, something he could get for his wife.

Deb glad you made it home safely!

Elin cute card, hope today is a good one for the groundhog. I am ready for Spring!

Debbie you are doing a wonderful job with the scrapbook pages :thumbsup2

Deb, glad that you made it to work and back safe.

I hope to still be sleeping. Or at least lounging in bed. There is nothing I hate more than having to get up and get moving early on a Sat. morning. I do that all week. I want my Sats. to be leisurely, and if it isn't until noon that I get showered and dressed, all the better!

I would LIKE to be sleeping, but I let the Uncles pick the time. I would also prefer not to have to shower & get dressed this early but since Starbucks is the only place I will go in my pajamas I am going to have to get dressed.

I hope that varmint doesn't see his shadow!

Happy Groundhog Day, all! Those pics crack me up. :rotfl:

Only 4 more photos to go but we just had thunder rattling the whole house so I think I should shut my computer off.

There is a back hoe doing something on the street behind us????:confused3

Kind of late for construction. :confused3

I just heard on the news that we had record rainfall today, 2.5 inches. That would be 25-30 inches of snow!

WOW! I never knew (or even considered) the conversion from rain to snow. Interesting!

Alan and I considered adopting the baby. However, Lydia lives 3 houses down from us, and that could be a bit awkward. We talked with her and her parents about it, and she feels strongly that she needs to go through this agency. They are helping her find a couple, and she is really at peace with the decision.

I hope she is able to find a couple she is comfortable with! :wizard:

I was at WDW once when it rained something like 4+ inches in one day. It rained so hard that the next day the turnstyles at Epcot were broken so I got in for free!!!!:cool1: But my good sneakers were so wet that they were still soaked after a few spins in the dryer so I wore a light weight pair and I ended up breaking a bone (stress fracture) in my foot.

Ouch! See why I overpack?
We were at AK one day when it rained over 3 inches. There were puddles at Pop that were ankle deep just going to the food court that morning. It rained for like 12 solid hours. Not my idea of fun!

I am worthy!!! :worship:

:rotfl2:

Good morning, Debbie. I am sorry you can't sleep, but your scrapbook page looks wonderful! You put those extra hours to good use this morning.

Debbie, those pages look great! I'm sorry your glucose isn't where you need it to be!

Well, my neighbor "The Knocker" was on the loose again last night.:headache: And I didn't hear anybody's TV, so I really think she just randomly goes on knocking sprees. She knocked off and on from 2 AM - 3 AM. If I wouldn't have been so tired I would have gotten up and stomped REALLY HARD. Or called the police. Or something. Arabella tried to convince me to get up at 5 AM, but I declined. I have a hair appt. at 3 PM but nothing else scheduled so maybe I will take a nice nap after breakfast!

We went to dinner at 1900 PF in August of 2006. We got Aurora instead of Cinderella, which was fine, but we had seen her before. We got a pic with her and then the batteries in the camera died! We had plenty of batteries but there were all in the room, not in my backpack.:guilty: So we missed getting a pic of the Prince and Suzy & Perla. The mice were terrific! They liked to rub DH's head.:rotfl2: (It is sort of fuzzy.)

The mice were fun at CRT even though they didn't really stop at each table.

Is it 4:30 yet? ;)
That sounds like a challenge! Just hang in there and he will get used to your rules. What kind of parents barricade their child in a room? Never mind.:sad2:

Dadboss usually gets Princess down for bed at night but he wasn't home until after she went to bed. Princess has had a little bit of a cough/congestion so I think she worked herself into a lather and then gagged.

Shame, shame, shame!

Slowly but surely things will get better. The other 2 have issues getting back on track once they have spent any time home with daddy. :headache:

Good afternoon, DDA!

Great sewing projects, Deb and Vicki! They look wonderful.

Janet and Chanon - I like your PS projects.

Robyn - One more hour to go!

Other snowbound folks - Be careful out there! We're finally looking clear on the roads so we should be out of the woods now.

Tammi - Congrats on the booking! Sounds like a lot of fun.

Not sure what else I missed as Kristi was talking to me as I caught up so here's some :wave2: :wizard: and :grouphug: for everyone else.

Thanks Tia, It sounds like Terra will get to use her snow pants!

Coming down in buckets. I need to build an ark.

It was a lot of rain! We could launch it right from our backyard.

I love this one!!!:)

Lucy's look is priceless.

Robyn, those are great pictures! I think you definitely sold me on the dinner. My kids will love it!

::yes:: they will. Emma loved talking to them.

Your kids look so grown up! Matthew looks great! Did he have fun in the play? Laura looks gorgeous!

I know I missed your original post but I agree.

I don't think we have any interest in H&V since the characters are the Little Einsteins. I don't think my kids are into them. Maybe a few years ago, but not now. So that leaves us with Mama Melrose's since we aren't too hip on SciFi or Primetime.

If Molly didn't love Jojo or Little Einsteins than we wouldn't have done it. Emma still likes LE but I think it's because we watch it all the time, she has no choice! The dinner is characterless.

Robyn I love the Pics. Not sure if Olivia would like the step sisters or not

They weren't scary, just hilarious! And they can read the kids well enough to know when to back up or play it up.

Robyn the pics are just awesome....what three cuties you have!!:goodvibes

With Cassidy's schedule this summer...it looks like we will be in your area around the middle of July...you have any plans??

Funny you should ask! We are trying to firm up our summer travels. I can't decide if I want to travel near 4th of July (that is our normal routine) or closer to August like we did last year. Since Lucy's birthday is July 2, I'd like to be home for it but then again I'd like to celebrate it with her godmother who lives in Michigan. Decisions, decisions. Once I firm up our plans with the family we are visiting I'll let you know for sure. I will certainly want to get together.

I use his best days for every trip.

That's what I did for this past trip. Now it was my first time using him but it was crowded, it certainly didn't seem like a 2 blue person time. We did manage to get a lot done using his strategies as much as I could get my crew to stick to.

Here I am asking for prayers and pixie dust. My 17 year old niece found out several months ago that she is pregnant. She knows that she can't make a marriage work at this age, and she really doesn't want to try. She and Brandon made the decision to place the baby up for adoption, but his parents are trying to talk them out of it. They do not want to help raise the baby, they want the kids to get married, and raise the baby on their own. Could you please pray that they will stay out of this until the baby is placed? Thanks.

:wizard: for all involved.

So today the weather has just been crazy. It doesn't help I spent most of the day driving. I drove through pouring rain, floods, wind, fog, icy roads, sleet, temperatures above and below freezing, so on an so forth. Not a pleasant day to drive over 200 miles, but I did and survived.

Our office probably would have been closed today. Except the email messages sent at 6:30am to two people in the office were not read until they were at work. What parent of 3-4 kids checks their work email in the morning before going to work. The other reason all the surrounding school districts from where I live up through northern PA were listed as closed. The school district we are located in was not listed because they were already off due to an in-service day. Which we did not discover until about 11am.

Glad you are home safe.

Hope everyone stays safe! We started as freezing rain but it is just rain now and should hopefully stay that way.

Elizabeth-glad to hear you bought you DH a ticket to get to MCO. I would have bought it. I bet I could win a pale contest any day!

Vicki-your dress is cute! And you Prince Charming is cute too! Sounds like the extraction went better than last time. Hope she has a quick recovery.

Deb-LOVE Chris' shirt! Nice job!!!

Chanon-love the scrapbook pages you've been posting. I really do need to try some tutorials someday.

Janet-LOVE your name designs! Thanks for the heads up on August hours. I guess I need to do my Color Coded Matrix of Fun now!

Terry-glad you're finally feeling better.

Anne Marie hope you and Katie and your household get well soon!

Jennifer-congrats on making the decision for an August trip. Do you have Joovy sit n stand? I was looking at strollers at BabiesRUs today (don't ask....) and they had a rain cover for the Joovy. Sorry you're still having problems with your back.

Beth-Hi! Love the photos you posted!

Robyn-goodluck to your cousin's wife! And goodluck to you with photopass. I still have about 15 or so to go. LOVE the 1900PF photos you posted!

Tammi-congrats on booking your trip!

Theresa-I would absolutely say California Grill but the only other "fancy" place I've been is Citricos.

Glynis-prayers for your niece!

Thanks Bernadette, I'm making progress but it is soooo slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow And I am very mad they took that Tink border off.

Dawn and I went out in this ice mess today. She really wanted to keep a doctor appointment, because she was very sure she had another Dermoid tumor. She was right.

We also had our mamo's done.

Yay for Mamo's. Hope Dawn can get her surgery done soon. :wizard:

Chanon - MUCH better!:thumbsup2

::yes:: Much Better.

So, I still haven't gotten that nap in yet, but I have been playing with some of the free scrapbook kits that Jennifer posted a link to,
