Keep in mind that they may. Not touch all your hard work. I put elabroate thougbt into travel bags for Nick and Hunter the first couple of times we drove. They not do anything that I packed. DVDs Were all they were interested inSO what are your kids favorite Christmas songs?
I was thinking of printing the words to a few and putting them randomly in their Activity books for the road trip next year.
I was thinking Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the red nose reindeer.
Not sure what other songs to put in. I have the words to the Winnie the Pooh song and the Mickey Mouse song already.
Mapquest says 17hrs, so I know it will be longer then that. We will stop overnight around 8 or 9 pm then get up the next morning and finish.
Just trying to think of stuff to put in besides coloring pages, dot to dots, mazes and a few worksheets for Olivia. I will tic tac toe, and License plate hunt pages as well as some bingo pages that Dolly has designed.
Storms delayed our start yesterday. We were re-routed to fly up to JFK and follow that route to Barcelona. We arrived an hour later or so than expected and when we went to get a taxi, no one would pick us!!!! They are really picky!!!!. We then went next door after checking in and had Tapas and Sangria. Each of us were trying to do the face plant at the table. I finally gave up and we went up to the room and within seconds, Stephanie was fast asleep and I wasn't far behind. Four hours later we went to the Hard Rock Cafe. met up with a lot of great folks. What a way to start our trip. After that we made the mistake of walking around. It was raining cats and dogs. My sneakers must weigh at least 10 lbs!!!! Our clothes are dripping on the floor. Tomorrow is another day. A FOUR hour tour!!!
Bernadette or anyone what is a good place to find doll clothes patterns.
The girls have started dressing their baby dolls with some of Pal Mickey's clothes. I have about 10 Disney scrub tops that I will not be able to wear after Dec. 31st. I thought I could take them and make their baby dolls some cute Disney dresses.
I've tried a few commercial patterns for doll clothes and they are very difficult to understand. I like the pdf patterns from www.youcanmakethis.com and really love CarlaC patterns. I have used this free pattern to make a really cute-easy too-skirt:

Here's what I made:

I used this pattern for the top & nightgown. It has both child's size and doll size in the same pattern and would also be a very easy top for you to make the girls:

Sounds exhausting, but so much fun
He made it through surgery. Found out the doctors really didnt know if he would
make it through or not. The valve was barely hanging on because the infection
had attacked where the valve was attached. Also the aorta looked inflamed and
they thought they were going to have to cut some out and put a patch in that
area. Luckily they didnt have to but might have to do that later on. He is in
ICU right now. Possibly will have to be in the ICU for a few days then on to a
regular room. Doctor wants him to stay in hospital for about a week. Now the
recovery begins.
