DDA Chapter 26

I went to my family reunion yesterday for my mom's side of the family. It was quite nice to see some of my cousins, aunts & uncle. Mom was there with my niece & nephew as well. It was had at the Rifle River Recreation Area where we used to camp all the time when I was a kid. It was a nice day.

Tia - we are supposed to go all the way down to a high of 90 on Tuesday. Does that count as a break??

Apparently around here it does. All the weather people kept saying was that we'd have a break on Friday. Okay, yeah so temps would still be 92, but it wouldn't be as humid. Well, it was hot enough Kristi and I opted not to go to see Damn Yankees at the outdoor ampetheater that night so you tell me if that was a "break".

Of course now it is storming like CRAZY and we're supposed to have a swimming party this afternoon. I'm really hoping that park of the forecast that shows several hours of clear skies followed by just 40% chance of rain hold true.

It is looking overcast here today. I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do. I brought a bunch of stuff to be organized from home (it was sitting in piles in my office at home), go to work and try to get caught up after being off a couple of days last week, go shopping at the Dollar Store & Goodwill, or just veg. I'm thinking I'm not in the mood for just vegging today so I think I'm down to 3 options. Hmmm, do I want to work, work, or shop? Ok, so the down side of the shopping is Chuck & I are trying not to spend any extra money. Can I shop without spending anything or would that just be stressful and more like work? I guess I'm down to work, work, or work.

so on Thurs afternoon I finally broke down and went to my primary care DR. I had been having horrible nasal drainage down my throat, headaches right behind my eyes and was starting to feel dizzy when standing. Turns out I have a sinus infection. so I am on antibotics. Still having the headaches but not as bad.

so on Thurs afternoon I finally broke down and went to my primary care DR. I had been having horrible nasal drainage down my throat, headaches right behind my eyes and was starting to feel dizzy when standing. Turns out I have a sinus infection. so I am on antibotics. Still having the headaches but not as bad.

I went ahead and ordered one for me in my regular size for next year and one for Olivia as she had outgrown her current one.

Hi, DDA! It's been busy around here. So much so that I haven't even been focusing on my trip like I'd like to.

The never-ending project in the living room/dining room is nearing completion. The guy will be here to lay the carpet tomorrow afternoon. So today is full of getting the other carpet out and cleaning the hardwood floors. The only thing big thing left is finding a curved curtain rod to fit our bowed window. I didn't realize that wasn't something that I could just go out and get. Then I need to go through photos and decide what I'd like to hang in there. I hate to say, but we never had anything on the walls in those rooms. Some how I never got around to it. Next up, finding someone to completely re-do at least one bathroom. I just don't think I can do it myself.

well I think adding on a room to the house is going to be a lot more expensive then I thought. So I need to figure out something else.

I need to figure out what Santa is bringing the girls for Christmas. The Drs. say with twins I could end up on bedrest as early as 24 weeks. Any suggestions?
