DDA Chapter 26

I need to figure out what Santa is bringing the girls for Christmas. The Drs. say with twins I could end up on bedrest as early as 24 weeks. Any suggestions?

Good luck! I have no idea what Terra is going to want. She keeps talking about a DS and that Biscuit dog. I told her she'd have to choose, plus Biscuit costs more than getting an actual dog and isn't near as exciting. I have a feeling she'll decide in the end that she wants a DS. Then the question will be whether we do that from either us or Santa or have Phil's parents get it for her. In the end, I have a feeling that she'll ask for that from Santa. As for anything else for her (or anyone else for that matter) I'm at a loss. There isn't much else she wants/needs outside of a few small toys she's mentioned. Guess we'll see for sure after we know what the housing situation is. If we do get to move, then maybe stuff for her room, etc.

I got a Didji on clearance last year at walmart that I am thinking of that for Olivia plus a couple of games I have found on clearance for it. Originally was going to give the girls a bunch of Art supplies and get Virginia her own art easel. But with the twins coming and the need to move stuff around not sure where I would put the art supplies and easel.

Well, we're still clear and the pool opens in 45 minutes so I guess I'd better go get ready to leave. I've still got to stop and order/pay for the pizzas, pick up the water and maybe get a cookie cake or something. I was afraid to do anything without knowing if the weather was going to cooperate since I don't think many of us expected that storm this morning. See you guys later.

Guess i would say..work

So I have spent several hours working (personal) and working (shopping). I think it is now time for a nap. I may just skip the work work. I did very well shopping. I got lots of ideas for when I have the extra money to spend but I only bought my weekly donut - chocolate covered, cream filled, long john. Yummy!!!!

did I tell you ladies that we gave Olivia the option of having a big party or having her room painted. She chose to have her room painted. She chose a purple color that is called very Violet. Jeff will get it painted when he takes his vacation in August.

Well, the rain did us some good! The humidity decreased a little by pool time and the pool itself was practically empty for our party. Made it nice for finding each other as people floated around between pools plus we didn't have to fight for chairs, etc. Of course, it also made it easier to just stay and hang out longer so now I'm beat. I think my bed is calling me a bit early tonight, especially since I didn't sleep all that well last night.

awe the one thing I love about summer is the fruit is usually reasonable prices and can make a fresh fruit salad. Have grapes, watermelon, honeydew, strawberries, oranges and pineapple. yummm

Good morning. Oops, wait it's afternoon. Good afternoon everyone. Just a lazy tired day around here. I ended up staying up an extra hour or so finishing my book last night and then didn't sleep the best again so it's a bit of a tired day. On top of that, the whole 90/feels like 100 weather outside has a dreary look to it so that's not helping.

It feels soo good.. That test was the one thing that would hold me back.. I have a presentation that I already turned in all my stuff to the group for.. so its nothing.. and then to finish a paper..

That is it.. Oh my goodness.. I can not believe that I have finished my 4 year degree.. I never thought this day would get here and the day I started never thought I would complete it..

This is my life changing event.. OH my I do not have words to explain..

all I know is..

Good morning, DDA!

We woke up to a 3.6 magnitude earthquake in our area this morning. The dog was going crazy and we were puzzled.

another first for me...an earthquake!!

We also went and saw "Despicable Me" yesterday afternoon....I loved it more than toy story 3. I felt like a horrible Disney freak.

We finally have internet and cable back...it's been a long week!!
