Our dogs would have completely gone crazy. 4th of July is a nightmare enough. Anything weird makes them squirlley!!

Happy that it's Friday. Another week I made it through. 27 weeks now. Hoping for an uneventful weekend. Somehow my trips to L & D are always on the weekend.

well I passed.

It feels soo good.. That test was the one thing that would hold me back.. I have a presentation that I already turned in all my stuff to the group for.. so its nothing.. and then to finish a paper..

That is it.. Oh my goodness.. I can not believe that I have finished my 4 year degree.. I never thought this day would get here and the day I started never thought I would complete it..

This is my life changing event.. OH my I do not have words to explain..

all I know is..

IM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!! WOOO HOOO...

Either way, I am scared!!! Think we will be spending alot of time in the pool!

I think we'll be spending a lot of time at the pool too. We did some touristy stuff in Boston Saturday with Terry, Halley & Terry's Mom and my foot is still killing me today despite the high doses of ibuprofen. At least it has confirmed that I really need the surgery. We couldn't have walked more than 4 miles on Sat and I know I used to do over 10 daily at WDW. I have my preop physical this afternoon. I have to wrap up lots of work stuff before I leave. I'm feeling pretty stressed-I haven't even packed yet. We do have most of it on a table in my room though so the actual packing shouldn't be too bad. Still have to get all the electronics ready-charge batteries/reformat memory sticks....

Terry drove back to FL Sunday with her Mom (her Mom will fly back to MA). We are meeting them at WDW on Monday. Will be fun to see them again.

I know we'll have a great time at Disney once I get there even if we don't do much park time. That should make DH happy.

Disney and Dooney & Bourke have done it again. Disneyland themed purses!!!

Had my sono today the twins are measuring good, one is about a week ahead and the other is about 4 days ahead. The Dr said that was good this early. I go back in 6 weeks for the big anatomy scan and we will find out what we are having. Then I will see him every 4 to 6 weeks. for growth scans. They are in separate sacks and each one has its own placenta. Guess that's why I am so nauseated. Double the hormones.

It is wonderful to hear they are doing so great!!! Do you have any "feeling" about what gender they might be?

Well they finally stopped the oil leak!!!! Hopefully this cap will last until they get the relief well completed. We've still got a huge mess to deal with.

Good Morning,

Today is my last day off before we leave so I had better make the most of it. Time to change the sheets on the bed and bring in the suitcases from the shed, I have most of our things laid out in the spare bedroom so that won't be much of a chore.

Debbie - Thanks for your concern.... everything is fine. Button was the one who suffered most from the shaking yesterday morning. She knew something was "up" before we had a clue! Animals amaze me.

We had a small, quick-moving thunderstorm last night that blew over lots and lots of huge trees and power lines/poles in our downtown area. Meanwhile, three miles away there was blue sky.

Our temp was 100 with a heat index of 109 yesterday too.

Seems like our area really ticked Mother Nature off somehow!

Welcome back, Jen! Can't wait to hear all about it.

Elin - Do you get a day or so of temperature break? We had a decent Friday - still fairly hot, but not humid, etc. Today, it's all nasty again. Even now, the "feels like" is 99 at almost 9pm.

We had a pretty uneventful, yet fullish day. Terra and I hit the library after taking Phil to work and ended up getting there just in time for an event that still had spots. The Whiskers and Tales group was there and they had a bunch of dogs in the meeting room. The kids got to pick books out and then choose a dog to read to. Terra picked a cute little white curly dog and read him a couple of stories and loved every second of it! After that we hit a resale shop and picked up a few things for the baby, had lunch at Cici's, finished up the details for our Daisy troop swim party tomorrow, got bags of free bagels and breads from a friend, dropped off Rachel's suitcase at church for their trip tomorrow, went to the bookstore and picked up hot wings for Dad and I for dinner (much cheaper fulfillment of that request of his since Ukraine when we're the only ones home!). Man, no wonder I lost all energy by the time we left the bookstore. It didn't seem so busy until I just typed it all out.

Tomorrow we're having our Daisy troop's pool party for their cookie sales activity. Too bad it's supposed to be nasty hot again. Oh well, hopefully the water will make it comfortable enough.
