Just checking in to see if there's any news from Kristine. Still praying!

Kristine is still in the hospital. Her contractions have stopped for the most part, but her blood sugar is really high. The baby looks good and weighs about 3.5 pounds. They are hoping not to deliver her yet. The doctors have Kristine on multiple drugs, and they were hoping to wean her off at least one and see what happens. The cerclage is still in place. They are concerned about low amniotic fluid, so we aren't sure how that will impact what happens next.

Elizabeth - I see you were able to book CL for June! I really need to buy points at AKL. ;)

Thanks for the update, Elizabeth. Good thoughts and buckets of :wizard: still flying their way.

I was in a lot pain last night so took 2 oxycodone around 4am. I woke up so nauseated and eventually vomitting again. We didn't have too much food in the house that I wanted to eat and DH was dragging his feet going out. He finally got home from the grocery store around 3pm so I could eat something and take motrin. It is feeling OK right now. My office sent me a club house mickey edible arrangement. Must have been the mickey head pineapple that made me feel better.:laughing:

I called to make an appointment to change the bandage on Friday. They were not suprised to hear that I was vomitting. They said he could right a different script or a script for anti nasea meds but I said I would try the motrin. They were surprised to hear I was doing OK today on the motrin so I hope I don't regret that tonight.

My test went alright yesterday. Except for my hand which is bruised and sore from the IV. I really don't think she knew what she was doing. The Dr. won't have results for a few days. My specialist appointment is on Tuesday.

Kristine-Hang in there.:grouphug::wizard:

Bernadette- I hope the Motrin works and you have no more nausea issues.

:hug:Sorry you have to wait so long.:hug:

Glynis-a funeral for one my coworkers who passed away last week was in Salt Lake City yesterday. He was once the Fire Chief in SLC. I didn't know him very well but what I did know of him he was very nice. I think he had lung cancer and passed very quickly.:sad2:

I'm so very sorry! Thanks for letting me know. I'll see if I can find anything online about it.

Chuck has his spring break dates. It is March 5-12. My 7 month booking period is coming up soon. We are planning on staying at Wilderness Lodge and then Old Key West. At least that is what we think we'll book.

I may be able to get an October trip yet. If I can get free plane tickets with my points. I know I have one free ticket but I'm not sure about the other one so I'm working on that. I know we probably won't be lucky enough but if we get to go, I'm shooting for either Beach Club or Boardwalk. We'll have to wait and see.

Becky-good luck today!:wizard::hug:

Deb-sounds like you had a fun time at US. Enjoy your Disney day! Hope your sinuses improve!:wizard:

Yesterday after the numbness wore off my foot felt like someone had attacked it with a chisel and hammer and skill saw....Dr said the numbness would last til about 2:30. He prescribed oxycodone-1 to 2 every 4 to 6 hours. He said I could take motrin in between if I needed it. I took 1 at 1pm before the numbness wore off completely. I soon discovered that was not enough as the foot was very painful so I took some motrin. Then I took 2 at 5pm. I hadn't been feeling great so I was only eating crackers and dry cereal. Then around 8pm I was feeling better so I ate a real meal-steak, mash pototatos and green beans. I took 2 more oxycodone at 9pm. By 10pm I was vomiting.:sick: I felt better for a while but got queasy again by 11pm. I wasn't sick again and managed to sleep OK. Surprisingly I wasn't really in any pain last night. I took just 1 oxycodone this morning and pain is manageable so far today. It hurts when I have to go to the bathroom.

I'm optomistic that the pain will be manageable given how it felt last night and so far this morning. Still very optomistic that it will be well worth it in the end!

I hope that you're doing well tonight. Vicadin works well for me without nausea. :wizard:

I have that problem too! Phil insists on saving the older shirts, socks, boxers, etc as emergency backup clothes. Well, since MY clothes won't last for a full 2 weeks without having to do laundy, I don't know that he needs over 4 weeks worth. I really think I may just start getting rid of some of the older stuff a few pieces at a time.

Chris is a pack rat, I on the otherhand will toss his stuff out when he isn't paying attention. He still has so much stuff that he doesn't even miss it :rolleyes1

:grouphug:Kristine:grouphug: I hope that they are able to keep Jenna cooking a while longer. I know that you must be absolutely miserable, but she will be well worth it in the end :wizard:

I cannot believe how much better I feel tonight. I swear I took oxycodone for something else in the past and don't remember being so sick on it. The motrin seems to be working on managing the pain so far.:banana:

I may try a shower tomorrow. Got to figure out the cast cover.

We are in our last hotel. Tomorrow is our last official day of vacation :sad1: I'm not sure where the last 3 weeks have gone. We have had a fabulous time for the most part. Today was SeaWorld. It was just okay. I think once a decade is enough for me. Of course Colby couldn't go on the 2 big roller coasters so that made it tough on all of us. He was not happy to say the least. Hunter was taking pictures with his cell phone and some kid knocked it out of his hand and now it doesn't work :mad: Of course he didn't know which kid bumped him. I guess if that is the only casualty of the trip then it isn't such a big deal. We ran into HP land at Islands of Adventure around 11 yesterday to exchange a broken wand and it was an absolute nightmare. Shoulder to shoulder people, lines for everything including the drink carts and restaurants, no signs so you had no idea what the lines were for. After US I had to get into a better mood so we spent the evening at the MK and all was right with the World again. Tomorrow we will do DHS and Epcot and Friday we head home. Tonight we need to get to bed early as last night we only got 5 hours of sleep.

Vicki and Chuck. We thought of you when we had hot fudge sundaes at park closing at MK last night. :upsidedow

Does anyone need anything picked up at Disney? Tomorrow is our last chance,

Becky-you are in my thoughts and prayers!!:hug: I hope you get some news soon.

Bernadette-hope you are feeling better tonight and not in to much pain.

Elizabeth - Thanks for keeping us updated about Kristine!

Kristine - Praying for you and Jenna!
