DDA Chapter 26

Vicki and Chuck. We thought of you when we had hot fudge sundaes at park closing at MK last night.

we got home from the beach about an hour ago. The girls had fun playing in the pool. Olivia was letting me try to teach her how to swim. She was going under water while holding her nose. She of course had her life jacket on. The girls had fun at the beach, they were able to play with their cousin. Olivia and Jeff went fishing. she lost one fish and then her hook got caught on something and she lost her hook and weight. So she was a little upset about that. As she caught no fish. Jeff did not bring his tackle box so she had no extra hooks.

I think I have found a new favorite show. There has been nothing on the limited channels that I get on Wednesday night in Lansing so I've been stuck watching So You Think You Can Dance. I've really gotten hooked. It is amazing watching these dancers. The talent that they have is amazing.

Okay is it seriously 2011 yet!!! I got a phone call on the way home that my great aunt had passed away this morning. That is 3 family members in less then a month.

Deb and family have a safe trip home. Glad all of you that have been to Disney the past month had good times despite all the tour groups.

I like that show too when I can watch it. Of course, I love to dance so ...

Okay is it seriously 2011 yet!!! I got a phone call on the way home that my great aunt had passed away this morning. That is 3 family members in less then a month.

I'm so sorry. My Mother has always said that death seems to come in threes. I hope that you're all in the clear now. Remember that they are in a better place.

We haven't seen any tour groups this week. Hopefully tomorrow will be a perfectly magical day.

My kids were watching that last night. I caught the clown dance. It was amazing!

Bernadette - I'm glad to hear that the Motrin is working for you. When I was in elementary school I was able to use a bread bag with a rubber band securing it at the top to cover a cast on my leg. We only had a bath tub so I had to sit with the leg propped up over the side of the tub. Don't know if I could do that so well now!

Becky - I hope you hear good news from the doctor.

Jennifer - Sorry to hear about your aunt.

Thanks for sending this! I do remember him! Alan did several fire stories with him before Katie was born. I asked Alan about the funeral, and he said that, while he didn't go, another photographer and reporter went. Apparently, it was very nice!

OB appt this afternoon and a free night at The Magic House tonight thanks to the library's summer reading program. All that AND Terra's butterflies are apparently emerging from their chrysalids today. Needless to say, she thinks it's a pretty banner day.

I've been having trouble on my laptop seeing an entire thread. I can only see a few posts but I can see the last 15 when I hit reply-just can not quote too many....

Sounds like fun. Poor Olivia. We went fishing in Disney. Lizzy only caught 1 while everyone else got at least 2. We try to console her that she "almost" caught the "BIG" one-he pulled off the hook.

Thanks for all the continued well wishes. I feel SO much better today and motrin is working OK-and it didn't feel any better on the oxycodone. I even took a shower this morning and it was easier than I expected. I was a bit skeptical of the cast cover but it worked perfectly.
