It's been a great couple of days at home. I'm heading back to Lansing in the morning.

We have started off the summer with fun things to do. Friday night we went to a AAA league team baseball game (our home team won!), went to a new pool we joined (both D & S passed their swim tests after some intrepedation ), had D's birthday movie party, & went crazy at the mall yesterday. They have only been out of school since Friday & I hope I can keep up this pace for them all summer..they said this is the most fun they ever had... They do have a week of camp coming up & we will be going to Charleston SC for a few days & Disney so I do not think they will get bored.

Painting day 106 (or maybe it just feels that way). I am working on trim now. I'm not sure I really have the dexterity or patience for this, but it needs to get DONE.

morning ladies, Dads 2nd round of chemo is at 10 am CST, no more bright red spotting, but ocasional brown. I am off till friday. Was originally going to take Olivia to a twilight camp for girl scouts this week. but the spotting, nausea and over all tiredness I decided not to do it.

I am spending some time working on the October and December trips today. TGM has all the December Best Parks out now, so I can feel a little better with my choices.

Katie wants to go rent Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. I told her fine, but she cannot sleep in my bed tonight.

Actually that might not be a bad idea because maybe she won't take soooooo long in the shower after she sees it.

Thank you. She received a reading award. Tomorrow is their last full day, then half days on Thurs. and Fri.

After the awards was the 2nd grade luau. The committee did a great job putting it together and it turned out really nice. Games, food, and fun. I stayed and helped out. Now I'm exhausted.
