Terry and Stephanie - how is my drive going to be tomorrow? Is the sun supposed to be out? Or more snow? I'm really not looking forward to this, other than maybe getting to see you guys for dinner. And I know that is a big MAYBE!

Anne Marie - I'm sorry your shopping was a bust. :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: No pun intended, but after I typed that I realized the funny. I feel your pain though. A few weeks ago I went bra shopping and actually stopped in a few stores and asked to be measured. One store tells me I'm a 32, the other tells me 36. One measures across the top, another measures underneath. I wish I had a perfect body so I don't need to go through all of this!

Tammi, since we are about an hour away from Exton, I am not sure how the roads are there. But I don't think we are in for more snow. now whether the wind is still a problem, not sure about that either.

I am going to have to say that I am not going to be able to make it. Hal's mother is in the hospital and we are going to visit her tomorrow afternoon. At first they thought it was congestive heart failure but now they are doing more tests and are not sure yet what it is. She will be able to go home on Sunday so that is good news. I am so sorry I cannot make it because i really needed some time out.

Elizabeth-:wizard:Good luck to DS tomorrow! :wizard:Hope you're feeling better!

Terry-:wizard:Hope you're MIL is feeling better soon!

I didn't get home from work until 11 PM tonight :headache: I was bartender and we got a late rush in the bar. It seems that my boss has fired one of the bar tenders so I will probably end up bar tending a couple of night a week for a while anyway. That will help pay off some bills and save for our trip so I can't complain too much. I will just have to get used to working later at night.

All of the snow we got this week is gone. The rain has melted it all. Our house is now warm and hopefully the storm is over, at least the wind.

Elizabeth good luck to ds today, hope you are feeling better :wizard:

Deb glad you have your power back!

Tammi have a safe drive today!

Love the snow pictures! We got dumped on last Sunday, hopefully that was our last big snow for the year. Spring will be here soon :thumbsup2

Anne Marie what a ordeal, I would have felt very uncomfortable with that lady

Terry hope all is well with Hal's mother :wizard:

Tia look forward to hearing about your CA. trip, enjoy camping this weekend!

I am so sorry to hear about Hal's mother. :wizard: that she quickly improves. If I have to head back up that way again, maybe the timing and weather will cooperate better.

We're getting flurries again too. It isn't supposed to amount to anything though. Chris is working. I took the boys to bowling then Colby headed out to check the sugar lines with Papa. Nick has a friend over for a couple of hours then he is off to play practice. This is the first one for the sound crew. I'm hoping to take a nap since I didn't get to bed until 1 am and I'm working again tonight.

Darn it Jen, I said keep the snow over there. :sad2:

Hal and I went to visit his Mom. They still don't know what is wrong. The Dr was not in today. Hopefully she will be going home tomorrow. She did look good for 85 years old. I keep telling myself that no news is good news.

Then our youngest son Steve who is up here visiting, surprised us with hockey tickets to go see the Hershey Bears. They brought Michelle's little boy Nicholas along and he was so much fun to watch. Naturally the Bears won 9 to 2. I remember going to the old arena to watch the Bears and during the intermission, you either got up and walked around or just sat and people watched. Now, it is so different with all of the noise and stuff they do during that time.

Tammi, I sure hope you make it up here again so we can meet up with you.

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

I have the day off, so I am going for a pedicure. Then friends and family are headed to a favorite local winery for a Mid-Winter Celebration - Hours: 11am-5pm. Admission: $15.00 - (An inside event) A guest winery (Unicorn winery) joins Hartwood to help chase away the winter blues! Wine tastings from both wineries, tours and light hors d'oeuvres.

And finally, dinner out at a favorite local restaurant. Life is calm and good. :goodvibes

Terry - I hope Hal's mother continues to improve. myBob's father was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh on Friday. They were concerned because he had pre-stroke symptoms. Must have been pretty severe since this hospital is 90 miles away from his house! Long story, short... they think it is an inner-ear problem coupled with a reaction to a medication change. We are hoping that he will come home in a day or so. He will be 94 this year! His "big brother" has a 95th birthday party next weekend in PA that I wish we could attend.

Good morning. :)

Terry - I'm glad that you were able to get out for a bit. If I'm back up this way, I'll let you know!

Elin - sounds like a fun, relaxing day. Enjoy! Good thoughts for yourBob's dad.

Elizabeth - how did the audition go?
