it's a pillow with a see through window with beads in it. With in that it has little trinkets that are different from the beads (i.e. mine has a snowglobe eraser in it) with a list of what to find in the pillow. They are fun!!

I have saved 2 of Jeff's Gatorade bottles and washed them out real well. I am trying to find little stuff to put in and then going to use packing peanuts or something similar for the ones I am making the girls. I might have to look for cute small erasers. those would work. I have snaged a couple of the girls play rings to put in so far.

Our big tree is up and decorated. We had such fun listening to Christmas music and hanging the ornaments, talking about their significance. Nicholas said "all these ornaments are memories". :goodvibes I have so many ornaments from places we've gone, things they've made, events of their lives, etc. Tomorrow we will do our Disney tree.

the best part of the pillows are they are very easy to manipulate to find the things...a bottle might be frustrating.

The ones that she made for us have a little baseball bead, a red bell, a green bell, specific erasers, letter beads for each letter of their names. I think you could just find any little items, maybe trip related and add it to an attached list.

thanks Deb.

I got something similar to that about 10 years ago but it was a jar. It has entertained a lot of people over the years.

true I wonder how easy the Pillows are to make. Will have to look for instructions on Google.

The jar I got (and the ones I made) had seeds for the fillers. We put paper clips, rubber bands, safety pin, etc. in there.

You can also use a plastic bottle with a lid, fill it with rice and whatever random items you wish. Just make sure to duct tape to seal the lid or use crazy glue, or hot glue to make sure it is sealed so prevent it from being opened.

ETA: which I see was already posted as another way to do it.

I like the idea of rice in the bottles. I think I might stick with the bottles.

It is always cool to see the different & same ideas posted by people. I enjoy seeing who thinks the same way about me. The neat part is it always seem to be someone else. It truly shows you that we are all alike but also different. I really enjoy that aspect of our DDA friendship.

i think i just taught myself to watch the weather every nite. lol

i was chating with a friend and she asked what we were doing tomorrow i said park day in the morn, she mentions that its going to be freezing tonight. I go check weatherunderground its going to be 23 here tonight. So I had to go out and cover the garden. It is already 33 degrees here. needless to say I was shivering while I was doing it.

Her new mantra is "Drink O Day"!

Thanks for all the well wishes! I survived and got an "A". The drive over to school almost killed me though. Accidents everywhere and then lots of rerouting due to them! I walked in late, which absolutely is one of my worst pet peeves. But I'm done and celebrating now!!!

Good night, DDA!!

Tia prayers for your friends son
