Good morning, DDA!

I have an old DDA list. If anyone has moved in the past year or so I need to get the new address.

I was just flipping through my address book. I think I need to throw it in the trash and start over. Almost ALL of the stuff is out of date, the people have died, whatever.

Robyn, YAY for finishing your class!! Good luck with the job search! :wizard:

Really!? That is pretty amazing, isn't it! Did any one of you try it?
No-we all had steak-well Lizzy probably had pasta. I have to say while it was OK it certainly wasn't our best meal of the trip.

While prayers are being said, one of my good friend's sons could use prayers. He is 9yo and they were out with their atvs and motorcycles on Sunday. He was hit by a sand (something) - essentially a dune buggy - and was airlifted to the hospital Sunday night. They did surgery to repair a broken femur with pins on Monday and he was doing okay. He's also got fluid in his lungs and abdomen, but they think that will be okay and go away as he heals.
:wizard:Hope he recovers quickly!:wizard:

true I wonder how easy the Pillows are to make. Will have to look for instructions on Google.
Here's a few links-even if you decide to stick with bottles they have ideas for what to put inside them:

Thanks for all the well wishes! I survived and got an "A". The drive over to school almost killed me though. Accidents everywhere and then lots of rerouting due to them! I walked in late, which absolutely is one of my worst pet peeves. But I'm done and celebrating now!!!
:woohoo:Congratulations! Glad you stayed safe!

Oh....I love technology sometimes!!!

I just got e-mail notification that Cassidy was accepted into her school of choice!!:cool1::cool1:

Now, if I could just get her confidence back up in her musical abilities so that she felt she could get into the music dept. as a major and not just as a minor.

:yay::woohoo: CONGRATULATIONS, Cassidy!!!

Hunter is being so cute. He keeps asking me how many people are following us on twitter and he gets excited each time a new person starts to follow us :goodvibes Thanks for making his day.

I haven't done that yet, but I plan to. Though it looked like I can see you without signing up.

Beth and family. Thank you so much for the goodie package. That will help tremendously with occupying the boys time at the hospital. It came at the perfect time :goodvibes

ETA did you make the can you find toys? Those are amazing.

You are welcome! I did make the can you find toys. I wasn't completely happy with the Mickey one, but I didn't have time for a do over. It needs to be just a bit bigger so that things can flow into/out of the ear portion better. That would make it a little easier to manipulate.

We're having the boys pictures taken at 5:15 tomorrow. I probably won't have time to order cards this year :sad2: I guess we've had a few other things on our mind. Heck, I don't even know what I've bought or what I need for Christmas and I haven't wrapped a thing

I am just as far behind as you are, but I don't have nearly the stress that you have. I don't know why I am so far behind this year.

Hello DDA!

Thank you Elin, Marci and Heidi for the Christmas cards! They were a ray of sunshine on a cold, windy day.

After a crazy busy day yesterday, today's was blissfully quiet. I got to sleep in, Terra and Chase played together the better part of the afternoon, and my evening is commitment free. What could be better! I do have go get out in the cold night as it's the last day for Phil's 40% off days at work, but that won't be too bad. Though, I may just have to treat myself to a nice hot peppermint mocha trio to arm up. ;)

I will add your friend's son to my prayers.

Thank you Elin and Heidi for the cards!!

Beth-I am going to guess the package I got was from you....the can you find pillow is awesome!!! We have a bigger one and enjoy it immensely!!:goodvibesThank you for the other part also...it will be greatly appreciated on Christmas Eve.
You are welcome!

Cute story. Colby was taking his bath and he told me that he really likes that lady that made him the find it pillow :goodvibes He asked if we can make some someday and give them to people to make them happy:littleangel:

That is so sweet! They are very easy to make, especially using the fleece, since you don't have to worry about the edges.

what all is in your can you find toys. Was thinking of making one or two of those for the girls to help with the car trip to WDW next year.

I did a Christmas-themed one: little present, candy cane (pretend), red and green jingle bells, Christmas themed erasers, etc. I found a lot of those items at the craft store. I also did another that had a mini bowling pin, coins, fun shaped buttons (flip flop, sunglasses), small erasers (flamingo, palm tree, turtle, fish), shaped beads and other little items. Start looking around now and sticking little things in a bag. I'm going to make one for Laura and put in one of her nose clips from synchro. She is the one that originally found the bags on-line and requested one.

I have saved 2 of Jeff's Gatorade bottles and washed them out real well. I am trying to find little stuff to put in and then going to use packing peanuts or something similar for the ones I am making the girls. I might have to look for cute small erasers. those would work. I have snaged a couple of the girls play rings to put in so far.

We do a bottle in preschool. Since it's part of our beach day unit, we use colored sand. It's also part of our numbers unit, so for that I use: 1 bottle, 2 colors of sand, 3 seashells, etc. Just be sure to really glue the tops on.

Robyn, congratulations on the great finish to your class!

1 week from today we will be in Disneyworld!!!

Good night, DDA!!

Congrats Robin. That is so Exciting!!

I see Elin has taken care of it.

Not really... I will simply say that many addresses haven't changed form the initial list. There are some of our friends who choose not to share their addresses all over the place so PMing individuals would be your best chance for getting any addresses you don't have.

How about those Horns!!! I was on the edge of my seat at the end of the game. National Championship...here we come!

Dolly -- he played well! It made the game even more interesting to have a more personal connection, even a convoluted one. Y'all have a great time out in CA. I have very fond memories of our trip to see the Horns first Rose Bowl appearance. Please jump in and feel free to regularly post here.

Elin -- you must be so excited! Yeah for one week!

Elin & Anne Marie - YAY for trips!!

I am already tweaking June. :rolleyes1 Well, contemplating tweaking. I haven't actually done it yet. But if I am going to tweak I need to hurry before availability is all gone.

:yay::woohoo: CONGRATULATIONS, Cassidy!!!

Good Morning All!

We may actually get above freezing today:goodvibes

Robyn-Congrats on the A!!

I have been a very bad exchange facilitator....I should have been reminding all of us to be sending them out!!! If you can't get it into the mail by tomorrow please pm me so I can warn your recipients. Thank you!!!

I just got a midsize rental car for 5 days in January for $107 from Priceline. They finally accepted my Name Your Own Price!

Very nice!

I just moved my first 2 villa days to the end, and booked a room for the first 2 days on the AP PIN I got last month. The rack rates are so high that 40% off isn't really much of a deal. :scared: I am going to cancel the hotel at Universal. We can decide later if we want to go for a day or 2.

Here a tweak, there a tweak, everywhere a tweak tweak... :rolleyes1
