Hi, I hope you are all having a good weekend.

I thought I was going to have to paddle home from work today as it was raining so much and lots of areas were flooded.

I hope to go to Hersheypark in the Dark tomorrow. It is not supposed to rain, so hopefully the weather will be nice.

Soon we will be off to church. Today Nicholas has a birthday party to go to. All the prep work is done. We will start laying the flooring today.

The first time we went to Potomac Point Winery I joined the Wine Club. My first "shipment" is ready to pick up at the winery so Kristin and I are going over there this afternoon for lunch at their bistro and to pick up the package. It will have 2 bottles of wine (one red and one white), a bottle of their custom olive oil and a gourmet food item. I am excited to see what I have in there!

And it is a glorious crisp fall day here so it should be perfect!

We're off to camp. There are lots of fallen trees up there that need to be picked up. We'll be able to burn them and it will make sugaring easier.

Anne Marie- Glad you have a resolution to the issue with Katie. Although when I first read it I thought perhaps they were going to be participating in Thrill the World. As they are trying to set a record for the most people doing Thriller at the same time.

Nope, she just thought it was fun as in she wants to be "liked" by her students & not teach her actual subject.

I said to her "if you were my math teacher & you had us rollerskate every day I would love you but your not here to be loved by your students your here to teach your given subject".

We are packed! The kids all have their own small suitcases so that will help getting dresses in the mornings. Their clothes used to be little enough that I could get them all in the same suitcase but no more. Weather reports from people who have just return range from shorts to jeans & sweatshirts so I packed alittle of everything. Now we wait.

Sophie has a bowling party today. This is her 1st invite from someone from school so she is excited. The rest of us are just hanging at home for the day.

We skipped church today as many people in the parish are sick with flu like symptoms. (Even the head of the youth religious development group who my kids would have direct contact with.)
