Hi Ya'll

Yesterday Hal and I went out to celebrate his 61st birthday. We went to a very busy, very trendy, all around fantastic restaurant, thank goodness I made reservations!!! They brew beer and have a really good selection of micro brews. Just wish they had a wine tasting selection too. The food was to die for!!

Afterwards, we called Howie and Heather cause we knew they were celebrating their 8th anniversary. They said, sure come on over and we will watch a movie. So we stopped at the wine and spirits store and I was so surprised to see a bottle of Nuvo!!!!!! Elin, can I say,,,,,,YUM YUM YUM.
$29 for the bottle, and I am sold!!!!!! It was fantastic and I finished it tonight. I figure Hal can get his expensive scotch once in a while and I can get something like this too.

We watched Borat, I was very shocked by this movie and really had to POKE OUT MY MIND'S EYE!!!!!!!:lmao::lmao:

Today was football and lots of good food. Really had a great time with family and friends.

Amy & Kevin,

Congratulations on the new addition to your family!!:goodvibes

Good morning everyone!

I probably won't be around much since my parents are visiting. They will be here another week, so that's nice for me. But I still have to work. :( They were able to go to Nicholas' football game on Saturday and it was nice that his team won since they were watching!

I've read along but just haven't taken the time to post or respond properly. I do want to throw out a big congratulations to Amy and family on their upcoming new addition!

Chanon - how's things going????

Apparently this kid likes it right where it is. It's only 8:30am but my feet are already swollen and am working on glass of water #2. Though I am splurging on a cup of (decaf) coffee this morning. I can't wait for all this water weight gain to go away! I miss my wedding band and engagement ring!

ETA: Due date is actually tomorrow...not the 13th...I think the ticker didn't account for the 31st days of the month or something...
Next appointment - Wednesday at 2:20pm!

ETAa: I broke the toilet yesterday! :rotfl: The toilet has been running unless you jiggle the float and apparently I just jiggled too hard and the float broke right off. So we run to Lowes for a replacement - now the toilet is fixed but I think we loosened the fitting around the shut off valve. Hopefully my neighbor will swing by today and take a look at it...

Terry - I am glad you found and LIKED the Nuvo! :yay: And it sounds like you had a wonderful weekend with Hal and the kids! :goodvibes

Chanon - Your feet and ankles will return to normal, but I know it doesn't feel like it right now. I am secretly hoping for water breaking sometime today!!

Chanon - I hope you can find the humor in this.......if the toilet had to break, I'm glad it was because you jiggled too hard, and not because of all the extra weight you keep putting on it running to the bathroom all the time!!! :rotfl2: When I first read it I thought you were going to say it gave out from underneath you! I feel safe saying that, because we've all been there!!!!

And I remember wearing my wedding rings on a chain around my neck, because my fingers were swollen too.

Do you have an induction date if you don't deliver?

Chanon I hope baby comes soon & you are given some relief from the swelling!

Yea, it's called 42 weeks. :faint: Last Wednesday I measured 40 weeks at 39. If I'm measuring large this wednesday, then I want to know what they can do to speed things up. I'm NOT going to 42 weeks if this baby looks big. And I can tell you it's now running out of space. One movement on the left side of me means another movement on the right to adjust for the space.
Now mind you, I'm not uncomfortable in any way...I'm just antsy now that I'm off work. I hate the fact that I'm getting paid and have...well, no other way to put it, nothing to show for it.

And I was getting mad at the toilet. Bob apparently doesn't know that when I say "the toilet is running, make sure it stops before you leave the bathroom" because whenever I'd walk by the bathroom, the seat is up and it's still running. So I think I was a little rough with the float... :rotfl:

Oh, my cousin stopped by yesterday! Here's Sydney - she's just over 2 months old.

She is a cutie :goodvibes

<--- Proud Aunt! She looks just like her dad with a touch of mom (thank goodness!!) (This is the cousin that lost her boy at 29 weeks last year.)

Chanon - Hopefully the baby will decide to come out soon! :wizard:

Tammi - Enjoy your visit with your parents! :)

I am so sad about the girl from Yale. :sad1: I hope they catch her killer soon. Her poor family. :sad2:

Good morning, DDA!

Chanon - I hope you see some changes soon and your little one gets here ASAP!

Glynis - Enjoy your time with your dad!! How exciting.

Terry - Sounds like a nice anniversary!

Well, I've got a living room full of garage sale stuff so I guess we'll actually get somewhere with it this time. Lots more to get through today!

We've also got houseguests all week. Erin has to be at work at 5am everday this week and Kaylin can't be taken to school until at least 6:30. Since Brendan doesn't get home until 7am, they've decided to move in here for the week. Erin and Kaylin are sleeping over every night and I'll watch Kaylin during the day. Erin also joked about paying me extra if I potty trained Kaylin this week too. We'll see. I might give it a try today and see how ready she is. She's showed some signs so she might do it.

Now though, I've got to go dive into my mess in the other room. I need a place to pile boxes so that I can add more. Have a good day everyone!

Heidi, thinking of you.

Thank you Clare, Debbie, Jennifer (loved your OMG :teeth: ), Glynis, Anne Marie, and Tammi.

I'm so glad to have the first trimester behind me. The nausea kicked my butt again, which I appreciate, because it gives me that sense of "everything is okay," but there were certain crockpot meals that about threw me over the edge! :rotfl:

Of course, I'm absolutely exhausted. I admire your ability to give up caffeine, Chanon. Not me...I inhale a Coke or Mountain Dew every day about 2:30 p.m. It's the only way I can muster a second wind to keep chugging through the afternoon.

Bernadette, thanks for the picture of the shoe shine chair. :thumbsup2

Have a great day, DDA! :wave2:

Heidi - Our thoughts are with you and your family today.

Tammi - Enjoy your time with your family.

Theresa - Hope you're not in too much pain from your busy weekend.

Good morning, everyone!

Chanon - Hang in there. I promise that Baby B will make an appearance soon! In the meantime, keep those feet elevated, and just relax. Believe me, after the baby comes, you won't be able to relax for years!

Tammi - enjoy having your parents around. What fun! Even though you have to work, you can tell yourself that you'll get to see them when you get home. Very nice!

Tia - Sounds like you've got a busy week ahead of you! By the way, if you are potty training kids, I'd love to speak to you about moving out here when Timothy is ready.

Terry - Happy belated birthday to Hal! Glad you had a great time at dinner. Sorry about Borat. I could only watch the first little bit, and then I had to turn it off. It was too much for me.

Today will be a busy day. I need to run to the library, then to the grocery store, do a couple of loads of laundry, make dinner and then go to listen to my father speak. He surprised me last night by dropping by. He's in town to speak at the local library about the importance of books and reading. My sister and I are ditching our families, and going to listen to him speak and then take him out to dinner. Fun, huh?

I also need to do some studying on my anatomy. It's getting harder, as everything is building on what I've learned in the previous lessons. Yikes!

Have a great Monday everyone!
