Ole vas vorking at the fish plant up north in Dulut vhen he accidentally cut off all ten of his finkers.

He vent to da emergency room in the Clinik and vhen he got dar da Norsky doctor looked at Ole and said, "Let's have da finkers and I'll see vhat I can do."

Ole said, "I haven't got da finkers."

"Vhat do you mean, you hafen't got da finkers?" he said. "Lord-it's 2009 and Ive's got microsurgery and all kinds of incredible techniques. I could haff put dem back on and made you like new! Vhy didn't you brink da finkers?"

Ole says........"How da fock vas I suppose to pick dem up?

I don't understand this whole packing philosophy. Why pack so far ahead of time? What's the point? So you can stare at the suitcase? Have wrinkled clothes? Why have all those clothes if you aren't going to wear them? Someone please explain and get me out of the dark!!!!

You are not alone, I need my clothes to wear up until I pack. I do not have a big wardrobe, so packing early would leave me in the buff lol

My grandpa died this morning, but all my family said to go ahead and go. Turns out my 2 cousins & my aunt and uncle have trips planned also within the next 2 weeks, so we'll have the memorial service on June 1.

Today my oldest grandson graduated from preschool.

I got some cute pictures and this one video. you probably won't be able to hear the music but the kids are so cute. Caydn is in the first row with a green hat on the left side.

Yes, they are!!

Princess went to the dentist for the first time last week. There was a big eagle sculpture in the office. She said "Elizabeth! Look at that UGLY statue!" It really wasn't very attractive.

Can you tell me, though, how many mom's down there pick up their kids in fur coats?




It's not that her hair is so short, it's that it's choppy. She managed to, again, cut a bit more of her hair a few weeks ago. I need to purge my house of scissors.

That's the way mom's here are. We call it the Barbie syndrome. They have to be glammed up with their diamonds, etc. Makes me feel like "plain Jane!"


My niece has done this several times. Most recently, last week. She really chopped her hair! She's 5 and her parents have told her repeatedly that they will shave her head if it happens again. She didn't believe them, but this last time, the clippers came out and the hair came off! She now has a buzz cut just like her big brothers!

I am asking for prayers for my family. my Grandma is in iCU she started having bleeding from her rectum on friday. Last night she got 4 units of blood and 6 units of plasma. They are doing a scope down her throat and a colonoscopy today to try to find out where the bleeding is coming from. They will try to fix it if they can find it. She has a pacemaker that is doing almost all the work for her heart. she is a diabeitc whos sugars are never under control. I am asking God for his will to be done and to take her if its time. so prayers for us if it does happen soon. I am tired of seeing her suffer.

That is exactly what I threatened and I will follow through. Let's just hope if there is a repeat it's after August 15th!

I'm sorry for your loss, Kelli. Our prayers go out to your dad and your whole family.

I DO wear my clothes. Some things are just designated for WDW wear. And then after I have too many photos of myself wearing the same shirt it gets demoted.

Now that is funny, though I have some things I feel that way about too. Too many pictures of some clothes and now I won't pack them anymore.

I have a dentist's appointment at 7:30. I hope I can go back to sleep for at least another couple of hours!

Hope you got some more sleep. I don't have the baby today so last night I declared that I was sleeping in. Two minutes later, Rachel came down and asked if we were going out to breakfast this morning. Oh yeah, I had promised that. There went my sleeping in. Didn't matter though probably as I was fully awake 5 minutes before the alarm went off.

I just don't get it, especially in our neighborhood. I will not go out without makeup but I will not don a fur coat to pick my kids up from school.

Those poor moms wouldn't know what to do with me. I've been known to drop off/pick up, and even go to the gas station for my morning coffee, in my pajama pants, a sweatshirt and flip flops. There is very little I'll "dress up" for and school pick up is not one of them.

Good morning, DDA! We've got MOPS in a few minutes and I am praying for non-crying children today. I do not have the energy to deal with it today and too much to do afterward to be drained by my morning. Today is playroom cleanup/reorganize day, plus I had said I'd try to help Kristi clean out her gardens. Her graduation is this weekend so we've got company coming to both houses for it.

Fingers crossed that I don't have the baby tomorrow either because I could really use a day totally off. Plus, I've still got to figure out what I want to do for my birthday. All I know is that it must involve not being home.

Well, I'm going to go try again to force the washer to spin the clothes. I really don't want to ring them out by hand. Have a good day everyone!

I'm so sorry to hear this Jennifer. I hope everything works out for the best, and that she doesn't suffer.

Today is errand day here. I have to do the grocery shopping, and make a run to the library. I hope it goes quickly, as I really need a nap. Poor baby is still trying to cut that first tooth, he also has a cold, so his nose is plugged up and really icky. It was so bad last night, that I had to wake him up every half hour to suck it out with the aspirator! Poor little guy! He's pretty miserable. So, neither of us have slept well the last couple of nights.

I'll try to check in later.
