I refuse to buy the magazine or join the 'club'. Although it is a brilliant marketing campaign. Get people to pay for their infomercial, and pay for their advertising which makes US buy more stuff!

With that said, depending on how well you enablers operate, I could change my mind. ;)

I didn't buy anything else-no pins or pens :scared1: or clothing. I did enjoy the old Disney Magazine. I was hoping this one would be good too and this will be easier than remembering to look for it in the store.

I'll let you know what I think.

Probably some strain of the flu. There is a strain running rampant around here, luckily John and I haven't caught it.

So, the last three nights I have run a fever from about 5 o'clock on....other than feeling just run down since Monday (I fought something else over the weekend) I feel okay....anybody have any clue what it could be?

He did. The Pepsi one turned out the worst, with milk taking 2nd and OJ 3rd. Tomorrow night is set-up and the actual Fair is on Friday.

Very enlightening! That was pretty much what my niece found out as well. I think orange soda was also pretty high up.

I think I'm also off to bed. Timothy has hit a growth spurt, and ate pretty much constantly during the night last night. I'm EXHAUSTED! Talk to you all tomorrow!

Great pictures, Vicki!

Science Fair is done at Tammi's house!!!! WOO HOO!!

Tammi I'm glad you guys finished your science fair project. They are always so time consuming.

Glynis get some sleep if you can. Growth spurts can certainly be challenging especially when he's not your only responsibility

Colby was up twice during the night with congestion again. His cold hasn't gone away yet. I may need to take him to the doctors this weekend if he doesn't clear up by then. Thankfully Chris got up with him. Today is both jobs for me as is tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be exhausted by Saturday. At least I will get the first paycheck tomorrow and it will seem like I'm working for something:upsidedow

How's the magazine? I went ahead and ordered the membership. Does your Disney Store sell the magazine?

Well it's very nicely put together as far as the pictures. Large & glossy. Looks almost like a coffee table book its so pretty. However while the content is also well put together there is nothing in there that us die-hard Disney fans do not know already. There are some cute original comic strips at the end of the magazine which I have not seen before.

I probably would buy the 2nd edition out of curiousity & because I am a fan but it's no Disney magazine like they used to have.

I have not been to work since 3/10 so I am not sure if TDS sells it. I got mine in Barnes & Noble.

Let us know what you think when you receive it.

I got an email from crocs this morning. They have put many of their styles on clearance. Included are the Disney styles for adults and kids ($17.99) and the sports styles too. Some mammoth ones are there as well as some of the Mary Jane styles too. They still offer free shipping with orders over $75. Here is the link I got:

Do you have allergies? It's not the most typical sign, but your body could be reacting.

I'm wondering if allergies could cause joint pain. It seems that every year around this time I start getting hives, and I also have knee pain. I always attribute the knee pain to being so overweight, but then wouldn't they hurt year round instead of just March-June or so? I took a 24-hour antihistamine yesterday morning, and the hives were much less itchy throughout the day.

My application is completed, and my cover letter is almost done. I have contacted two out of the three references that I want to use, and I'll phone the other later today.

Good morning, DDA!!!

From Deb Wills' AllEarsNet newsletter:

Several more acts have been tentatively scheduled for the Eat to the Beat concerts during Epcot's Food and Wine Festival (held this year September 25-November 8). So far the performers are:

-- September 25-27: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
-- September 30-October 3: Starship Starring Mickey Thomas
-- October 7-8: Better Than Ezra
-- October 23-25: Taylor Dayne
-- October 26-28: Boyz II Men
-- October 29: John Waite

YAY for being finished!!

I think it would be nice of them to give DVC members the first year free, just so we can see if it's worth $75.

Sounds perfect! I'm in... when do y'all arrive?

No dates, just wishful thinking so far.
