I know we are from different parts of the country....we celebrate when it gets up to 27 degrees here....that is actually the best snow playing weather. Cold enough that the snow isn't slushy but not so cold that your snot freezes.

The brie has not yet been topped with cranberry chutney and walnuts nor wrapped in puff pastry for baking. Kristin had a "run" at the bank at the last minute before turning off the "closed" sign and was a little late coming out from work. Then we had to stop at Giant for dessert (bread pudding! ) and just got home.

I take it this was not the type of "run" that would interfere with her eating and digestive system?

I was pricing out moderates last night. I'll talk to myBob and see what he says. I may be going solo. Or any of you ladies could join me. I've only stayed at POFQ so I have no idea which I would chose. I guess it would depend on what the discounts for that time of year look like.

My cousin was laughing at me today because i was telling her everything was closed today...We probably got 6 or 7 inches of snow and she laughed and said we just dont know how to handle snow (shes in colorado!)

This is a picture of a utility pole outside the house of one of the children that I teach. Apparently this thing continued to arc and spark all night long and they just got their power back on about 3 hours ago.

That is close to a record for this time of year here.

myBob lost power too. His was out for about 12 hours and he said it was 55 in his house. BBBrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I think if I were going to switch to a moderate, as much as we like POFQ, I would be tempted to look into CS. The rehab is almost done and most of the rooms have Queen beds now and new bedding! I was going to post a picture from the FAQ but it has been shut down. Something odd is going on there.

Hi!

It took me almost two hours to get to work this morning. Roads were crappy. But not as bad in the lehigh Valley.

I am at the airport killing time. My flight is on time. But I do not leave till 7:20.

Elin, Tammi,,,glad you both have electric. I am thinking the blinking lights is more bothersome and frustrating. I have to reset the tv everytime.

Our one neighbor did his usual neighborly thing and went to a few homes around him, including ours and plowed up the driveway. Less snow for Hal to shovel when he went out. The snow was heavy he said. The roads are plowed but there is a lot of wind so there will be spots of ice and snow on the roads in the am. My half hour drive will turn into 45 minutes or more.

Being home with Cobain another day has been great. He has lain with me for most of the afternoon.

If CS were available for the Bounceback that we booked last October, the package would cost us almost half of what we are paying at BC. That might be a consideration if things don't improve in the economy.
