Yes, it is Chuck's that you have. I'll PM you just in case. I don't have a personal cell. The only time I need one is when I'm working and Chuck and the girls can contact me on that one so it isn't worth the money. Chuck has the following contacts listed in his cell:

Disney Bill
Disney Chanon
Disney Chris
Disney Deb
Disney Janet
Disney Kristine
Disney Lindsay
Disney Stephanie
Disney Tammi
Disney Terri

:lmao:

What do you do with that?:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Well I was up at 4am..too much to think about. Thanks for all the well wishes.:)

I'm glad I managed to entertain some of you with the "Special Wishes" a couple days ago. :rotfl:

The kid and the Mom in question were both standing there and weren't budging. He had already told them they could have the number. When I walked up to the group, I heard the coach say, "Just pick a number -- any number." I asked what was up, he told me what happened, I replied "But Jake has had that number his whole soccer life and he had it on the Titans in the Fall. The witch Mom said her kid had the number for years and wasn't budging. I guess this is what made me the most mad and frustrated -- the trashy mom!

When we got home, I e-mailed my friend who wasn't there, whose child plays on the team. This coach is her future BIL. I just told her it looked like he knew his soccer, we appreciate him taking the team, told her what happened with the number etc. Not an hour later I took a call from the coach to Jake apologizing. He felt terrible and wanted to talk to Jake. He wanted to thank him for being the nicer kid and taking a different number. I think he's young and just didn't realize what he was doing. He didn't know the number was already taken and handled it badly. I did want to ask him to give the number to Jake but I decided taking the high road was ultimately the right thing, but not the easiest thing.

I'm sorry this happened, Marci. This definitely sounds like a rookie mistake, and I bet that coach never makes that error again. I know I made tons of mistakes my first couple of years of teaching, and I tried my best to learn from each one of them. Hopefully, it will be a great season for everyone!

This has been an interesting day.

We got back a counter on our house. Looks like we have a bingo! Waiting for all the paperwork for us to sign. They are a cute couple with their 1st baby on the way.:cutie:

House 1,2, &3 did not work out as far as our searches.

#1 was just too overpriced for the neighborhood.

#2 needed work but is in a beautiful subdivision with a pool & tennis court. However the negotiations with the seller did not go very well.

#3, We were faxing in our offer for that just last night when the realtor called & told us it went to contract yesterday morning!

So plan #4, we had seen a home back in November that was taken off the market while we were looking. Well now it is back on so we made an offer on that one tonight. This one is very cookie cutter & not my style but the price, schools, & location were great...

Good price = more trips to Disney!

Have a great night.

Congratulations on the offer on your house. I'm praying that nothing falls through! :wizard: I hope #4 ends up feeling like the right home for you!

Fingers crossed that your house sells and that you are able to purchase one that you like. Maybe you'll have to take another trip to view some more? I'm sure the perfect one is out there, maybe you haven't seen it yet. :wizard:

Debbie how is your daughter doing?

Jennifer how is Elise?

Amy is everyone healthy yet?

I'm off to bed. Talk with you tomorrow.

Congratulations, Deb, on surviving your whirlwind weekend and passing everything with flying colors! I hope you have a great first day of work today!

And no, not everyone is healthy. Noah is congested again, and he woke up yesterday with his whole face caked in boogers (lovely image, huh? ;) ). After his second nap, he woke up with goopy eyes. I used warm compresses and I encouraged him to nurse as much as possible, so I'm hoping this is something we can work out of his system, without another trip to the doctor. He was still goopy when he woke up at 11 p.m. but not nearly as much so at 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. (Yep, three wake-ups last night). I think I'll go insane if the whole house ends up with pink eye! :scared:

the top 20 test #'s go on to the hiring manager and they will take 3 or more to interview. (I have applied to another position where my test score will go in there without me taking the test again).

You know we are cheering you on, Theresa! :cheer2: I'm sorry about dufus. I wish I could kick him in the leg for you.

I just wrote on Diva's Facebook wall and she deleted it! :rotfl2: That was rude!

She does not understand that she can not let her life be defined by boys. She whines that the boys she likes don't like her, and the ones that like her aren't good enough. I have told her before that she CAN NOT let the boys have that kind of power over her. But she doesn't listen. She is setting herself up to be miserable, and I tried to point that out. She HAS TO toughen up a little and set some new priorities. But that's not the answer she wanted.

So she deleted me! :rotfl:

That's pretty funny, Elizabeth! :teeth: I let boys rule my world for way too long, never listening to my mother's wonderful advice, because I never thought it was so wonderful at the time. :rolleyes1 Luckily, she prayed for me to find someone like Kevin, and thankfully, I finally got some sense knocked into me after dating yet another loser...one who stole and maxed out one of my credit cards. Hopefully Diva will find her own happy ending.

Good Morning,

It's back to work for me today, hopefully my DD will be feeling better today, I'll wait until later to check in case she's sleeping.

Anne Marie - Congrats on the pending sale, hopefully house #4 will turn out to be a perfect fit.

Deb - Good Luck at work today.

I hope your DD is feeling much better today, Debbie! :wizard:

I hope you all have a great day! :wave2:

Sounds like she is going through the 'love me, Daddy' syndrom, just like my step-dd did.

She's a mess. :sad2: I suspect if she doesn't get her head on straight she will end up marrying a loser like Ms. Selfish did, just because she doesn't have any other plans that day.
She was already mad at me for saying she isn't going to be able to go waltzing off to college and join a sorority and spend 4 more years NOT working. There isn't any money for that, and she doesn't have the grades and extra-curricular stuff to set her transcript apart. The colleges aren't going to just hand things to her, and that's what she expects.

Amy, I hope Noah isn't gunky this morning! :wizard:

Last night as I was watching TV I happened to think "Hmm. My eye kind of hurts." I went in the bathroom to check the mirror. Stye. The whole upper lash line of my left eye is purple and puffy. Very attractive. It just popped up out of nowhere - my eye was fine earlier in the day!

Hope everyone's Monday is off to a good start!

Amy,
:wizard: for Noah!

Elizabeth,
She deleted you???:rotfl2: :snooty: I didn't know you could do that.

Amy sorry to hear Noah is not feeling well, hope he is better soon :wizard:

Elizabeth hope your sty does not cause you to much trouble & goes away quickly :wizard:

Anne Marie I hope this house stuff is over soon so you can rest a little easier

What do you do with that?:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Lots! It can mix the heaviest cookie and bread doughs. Whips cream and meringues beautifully too. I use it quite a bit! I find that Kristin is using it more and more since she is at home and she loves to bake.

OMG I love it.
Maybe I should change the few I have to Disney ____;)

It made it so much easier for him. He doesn't know all your last names. He just knows you by your first name. Plus, we were trying to make sure we had all your phone numbers. We kept having to scroll up and down. It was his idea to put you in as Disney ______. It has worked out great.

Yet another ray of hope for a mother dealing with this right now. It is nice to know that some of our wonderful DDA friends made the same mistakes about boys when they were younger. I was also one of them. I had a boyfriend who was physically abusive. My parents didn't know that but they knew that he did not make me happy. They prayed for someone like Chuck to come along.

I'm so worried about Becky and Katrina. I realize harping at them isn't going to make them change. Chuck & I are also doing lots of praying that both girls find someone like Chuck or Kevin or the Bob's or Chris or any one of the other wonderful DDA husbands.

I was hoping to hear that things were looking up at your house, Amy. I am going to go out on a limb here and use all my powers to banish the germs from your house! Let's see if that proclamation does any good!

tty funny, Elizabeth! Bob and I had a very similar conversation at some point this weekend, but since Kathrin is 30, we opted to keep it to ourselves. She always goes for the same type of guy and then is stuck in a one-way relationship that makes her, and all those around her, unhappy. She is dealing with that again and it is all I can do to keep my big mouth shut.
hmmmm... I wonder if you can post anonymously on someone's wall on facebook... :scratchin ;)

Amy - :wizard: that your household finally gets on the mend!

Morning, DDA!

Good luck today, Deb! I know you'll be great! :goodvibes

Amy, I hope little Noah feels better soon!:wizard:

Elizabeth, I hope the stye doesn't cause you too much discomfort.

I am waiting to hear back from the sellers on our offer.
