Janet- I hope you get a refurbed room. That was one of the reasons I contemplated staying at CSR. They look really nice. The park hours have been in flux and changing. I hope they stay how they are.

I am glad Vicki said something, MK & DHS EEH switched nights  My dining reservations are messed up now. I was able to rearrange, but the times are later than I was wanting :sad2: Oh well at least we still have something & I am going to Disney so I shouldn't be complaining!

I have a KitchenAid stand mixer like that .... I love it! Mine is not red, though. :sad2: It did not come in anything but white and almond when I got mine!

I wondered what you were talking about, it was showing a coffee maker :rotfl:

Those running the Princess Half are all very upset about the changes. Many of us bought tickets for a Pirate and Princess Party at MK as our celebration. Since those parties were cancelled, they created a Happily Ever After party at DHS for the same price (we got a discount off the P&PP tickets). I don't see how they think the two compare though. MK with all they offer for DHS with just a few rides open, no parade, no fireworks, etc.? We can get a refund but Chuck wants to try it out since it is something different. We all get a special gift when we leave for the night so I'm hoping that makes up for my disappointment.

ETA: Can you tell I'm not a big DHS fan? They are going to have Beauty & the Beast as well as Fantasmic so I'm considering cancelling my Fantasmic Dinner package earlier in the week.

Apparently Janet's link didn't open Today's Special Value for me! :rotfl2:

Hey, Elin!! I want to tell you I LOVE:lovestruc my new can opener....it is way cool and has extra features (I told you I would tell you how I like it after a bit).

Elin -- I hope the concerts went well.

It was a very nice concert, thanks, Marci.

I am so sorry about the soccer team SNAFU. Poor kid... He is very mature to handle it so well. :thumbsup2

You all are the best family a girl could ever ask for. :lovestruc Obviously if I told you all that happened this morning I'd still be typing but you all are my sanity in a very insane time.

Anne Marie - One of the most gorgeous homes I ever saw was starkly modern with Queen Anne furniture. You can make that house a home for you and your family. I know it! And, congrats on the offer on your house too!

Tammi - I am glad the kids had fun, but I wish you had been able to enjoy yourself more this weekend.

This is what I see when I click on your link:

Time for bed here... I know nothing about any of the movies and don't care a whit about any of the actors! :rotfl:

Good night, everyone!

The kid and the Mom in question were both standing there and weren't budging. He had already told them they could have the number. When I walked up to the group, I heard the coach say, "Just pick a number -- any number." I asked what was up, he told me what happened, I replied "But Jake has had that number his whole soccer life and he had it on the Titans in the Fall. The witch Mom said her kid had the number for years and wasn't budging. I guess this is what made me the most mad and frustrated -- the trashy mom!

When we got home, I e-mailed my friend who wasn't there, whose child plays on the team. This coach is her future BIL. I just told her it looked like he knew his soccer, we appreciate him taking the team, told her what happened with the number etc. Not an hour later I took a call from the coach to Jake apologizing. He felt terrible and wanted to talk to Jake. He wanted to thank him for being the nicer kid and taking a different number. I think he's young and just didn't realize what he was doing. He didn't know the number was already taken and handled it badly. I did want to ask him to give the number to Jake but I decided taking the high road was ultimately the right thing, but not the easiest thing.
I really admire your son. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Marci,
That is crummy.

Deb,
Congrats!!!!!!!

Bernadette,
Sorry about the flights but I am jealous you get to go back so soon!

Theresa,
Yay for passing the test!

Stephanie,
Wow, you are a pioneer woman, I wouldn't have the courage!

Tammi,
At least the kids had fun.
You should have heard us screaming!!!:scared1: :scared:

Evening all...

Theresa-'s

Debbie- :wizard: for your DD.

Deb- :cool1: We knew you could do it!!

Steffy- Go Girl Power!!!! I hate possums,:scared:

Marci- I am sorry that Jake got his number taken away. :sad2:

Lindsay- :yay: for booking a trip.

Elin- :yay: for Magic Meets

Tammi- I am glad the kids enjoyed the weekend. Thanks for the review, maybe we'll skip it.

Elizabeth- :woohoo: on all those pins!!

Chanon- Love the bedding for the nursery.

Jennifer- I hope Elise is doing better. Did you and Kyle enjoy your evening out last night?

Janet- We have a Kuerig and we LOVE it. The only drawback is the coffee is expensive. But it's so nice to be able to pop a K-Cup in and have a hot, fresh cup of coffee in seconds.

For anyone I missed, I apologize.'s and :wizard: all around.
Hi Robyn!!!:goodvibes

Marci - I was sorry to hear about the issue with Jake's number. I'm glad to hear the coach at least acknowledged his mistake, and bravo to both you and Jake for handling it the way you did. I hope Jake finds a number he can start a new winning tradition with!

It is still snowing here. I think we have about 5 inches on the ground and it is supposed to snow all night. It isn't looking hopeful for school tomorrow and of course it is my first day of work. Thankfully my Dad is not working tomorrow so he is planning to watch all 5 kids since SIL has to work too. It is always something isn't it.

Yikes - I hope all works out tomorrow! I wonder how many people will come swimming in a blizzard? ;)

Lizzy and I worked a trip report for her this weekend. She did one during the week while she was home in her school journal but it was all bullet points. I told her she needed to do a better job but the task was overwhelming her. We ended up with her dictating it to me as I typed it out for her. She just couldn't sit down and write it all out. I printed out about 100 pictures and then we printed her trip report onto 4x6 index cards and put them all into a photo album. I think she'll really treasure it in the years to come.

I finally got permission from San Disc to return my defective memory card. It wasn't easy talking to their customer service department but hopefully I'll get a new card soon.

One of my coworkers is going to Disney the same exact dates that I am. I wasn't happy about paying $300 each for airfare. He just bought his tickets last weekend and paid almost $500 each.:scared1: He just emailed me and asked if I had looked at Jet Blue lately. My flight out has been canceled. We were booked on the 8:30am now we are on the 9:30. I honestly can't say that I'm horribly disappointed as getting to the airport for the 8:30 would have meant leaving the house at 6:00am. I checked my seats and both of my flights look to be only half full. Jet Blue is showing other flights those days as sold out.

What a great memory for Lizzie. I'm glad to hear San Disc is finally cooperating! I'm glad your flights didn't get messed up too much.

It was okay. That place is HUGELY overrated, as well as overpriced. I think it's cheaper to eat at WDW on the DDP than at that place. Now that I've been there once, I don't have a need to go back. It is NOISEY! Everything is crammed together. There are 6 toilets and 3 shower stalls in their locker room. But their big advertisement is that you can start using the waterpark before you can check into your room, and on the day of checkout you can stay and use the waterpark. So that means there are gobs and gobs of people that need to change into or out of swimming suits in the lock room, because they don't have a hotel room. I think GWL should have designed a locker room that could handle that. We did get upgraded to a room with a loft, so that was nice.

But the kids had a great time and that is what matters. I was content to sit in a chair and watch them.

I'm sorry it wasn't all you hoped, but I'm glad the kids had fun. When will companies realize you can never have big enough bathrooms?!

This has been an interesting day.

We got back a counter on our house. Looks like we have a bingo! Waiting for all the paperwork for us to sign. They are a cute couple with their 1st baby on the way.:cutie:

House 1,2, &3 did not work out as far as our searches.

#1 was just too overpriced for the neighborhood.

#2 needed work but is in a beautiful subdivision with a pool & tennis court. However the negotiations with the seller did not go very well.

#3, We were faxing in our offer for that just last night when the realtor called & told us it went to contract yesterday morning!

So plan #4, we had seen a home back in November that was taken off the market while we were looking. Well now it is back on so we made an offer on that one tonight. This one is very cookie cutter & not my style but the price, schools, & location were great...

Good price = more trips to Disney!

Have a great night.

Anne Marie - I'm sorry to hear your house choices have been reshuffled - but I hope it all works out well in the end. A definite silver lining is more discretionary income for those Disney trips - got to remember you're only 9 hours away! :thumbsup2

And yay!! for an offer on your home!

Well I can certainly understand your disappointment, MK has so much more to offer! I hope the evening is much better than you expect & that the gift more than makes up for it :wizard:

I still have Chucks cell number unless it has changed(I think that is whose number you gave me lol), do you have mine? Looks like MK on the 5th is our best chance of getting to say hello :goodvibes

I think this is what days I am doing what but am not 100% sure. I need to check hours and show times to make sure shows are still happening when I thought they were. It does not help that I keep trying to look at Feb hours instead of March.

3/3: Animal Kingdom and UCF
3/4: DHS/Boardwalk
3/5: Magic Kingdom/DTD
3/6: EPCOT and Expo
3/7: 5k, princess breakfast, DHS, PO Meet
3/8: Magic Kingdom
3/9: EPCOT
3/10: fly home

I am home, I spent 3 + hours in my car and I was there less then an hour. But I needed to do it. I am in major need of a drink.

Tomorrow night I am going to Smokey Bones for a relay fundraiser. Tuesday I am going with my Aunt so she can try on dresses for her wedding. Wednesday I have a staff meeting. Thursday a breakfast meeting. Then Monday their is something about an airplane.;)
Becky, you are one of the busiest woen I know. Hang in there. Enjoy your trip. :thumbsup2 :goodvibes
