Thanks Anne Marie, enjoy your dinner!

The last week and a half have totally messed with my training for the half marathon. I haven't done any exercise since Monday the 2nd. I ended up spending 12-16 hours every day in the Emergency Coordination Center fighting the computer virus at work. We finally got it under control after cleaning 1200 machines and reimaging 350+. It was a major coordination effort.

Though, I would never wish to go through a virus outbreak, it did come at a good time. I ended up sitting in a room for 6 days with the higher ups. They definitely know what I'm capable of when it comes to coordination and organization. The job that I'm currently acting in has finally been posted and my application, resume and cover letter were submitted last Friday. I know my boss wants me to get the position but it requires a second interview with his boss. Well, guess who was sitting in the room with me for all that time? Yep, his boss.

I'm sure you did an amazing job. I'm sure that you are a shoe in for the job :wizard: I'm sure you can still do fine with the race. Try to get back into your training ASAP.

Wow, just like old times around here!! :goodvibes You all went nuts last night!

Emma and Lily showed up about 10pm last night which threw my night off completely. Mo wanted to wait for them so I her and I hung out for a while. Eric napped on the couch  Once the other 2 got here I got them in bed as quick as possible as they needed to get up by 7am for breakfast.

Breakfast was nice but the food was pretty horrible, which is a good thing for me (the scale showed under 200 this morning!!!!!). My dad likes the all you can buffet but our favorite one closed up. There are 2 others around here and neither one of them can come close.

Yay for hitting that huge milestone. You are doing very well. That must give you tremendous motivation :cheer2:

I hope the showings pay off. Even though you don't want to stick to your diet try to make good choices. This is just a tiny hurdle. You can do it

:wave2:

I've gotten laundry underway and I took the boys and my neice to the pool this morning. I even got in my own lap swimming. That means that I exercised 6 out of 7 days which is unheard of :goodvibes I even noticed that my tummy is flattening out a bit  I also dropped my check off for the lifeguard course and picked up the course book. I need to read that this week.

Chris and I are having a quiet day. We are planning to watch the first Nascar Race of the season and the Amazing Race will be on tonight. The boys are all playing quietly. I'm not going to see what they are doing as they are at least quiet :rolleyes1

Thanks, I am so excited!! It feels so great and even though I have a long way to go it's within the realm of possibility now. I am determined to be at goal by my 35th birthday.

Elizabeth, you'll be happy to know that my packing is coming along nicely! ;) I have all the "stuff" packed (besides clothes) that isn't done at the last minute (makeup, etc) ... including lots of things we've been stocking up on duplicates for our owners locker that used to be "last minute things". I have the girls clothes out, and am working on mine hopefully later today. It shouldn't take long, considering I went on a MAJOR shopping spree yesterday for bottoms that fit. :guilty:

Not too bad, if I do say so myself! :teeth: 18 days! :yay:

Congrats for getting into onderland. I am still pretty much the same place I started at this year. I keep going down and up, but can not seem to stay in a continuous downward pattern.

God Bless Lorraine!! She made sure I had a stiff drink as soon as I got in to my grandparent's house...as we left I thanked her for the buzz. :lmao:

Grandpa's lunch was fine but it was nice to have the out of getting the girls to the orchestra practice.

But I am still about ready to shoot Jim.....you know how every little thing can drive you nuts when you like/love somebody.....let's just say I'd have gone over the edge even if I liked him with the last couple of days. :headache:

You can do it. My 35th was my big motivator too. I lost 50 lbs that year. My 40th is motivating me to get fit rather than lose weight. I must say that even though it is a lot of work, I feel great. I'm not even worried about the lifeguard course. I'm stronger now than I was at 16.

2009 has been a year of change for me already. I've lost weight, started exercising, stopped taking Tylenol PM and started going to bed at a decent hour most nights. I've even given up caffeine in the evenings. There is nothing easy about any of this, but if I can do it anyone can :goodvibes My kids have even noticed a difference.

If you don't find what you want, you could probably come shop in my candy bowl. There is so much that I'm sure the kids won't miss any!

Thanks for the great offer! I did get Disney Valentine's at $1 a box and 4 huge bags of candy at 1/2 price too. We play music Bingo so I have to get hearts or Sweet-Tarts or Smarties. My kids will love what I ended up with and so does my wallet. I may celebrate Valentines Day with my students the week following the actual day from now on. :rotfl:

I'm so happy for you, Robyn! You can do it!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Speaking of Sweet-Tarts. Our kids' generation is totally different than ours. Alyssa was eating some yesterday and she got one that was stamped "Email Me." :rotfl2:

:lmao: That is to funny!

We all enjoyed Coraline. Elizabeth, I think you will like it. It's got that creepy, bizarre quality about it. It's given me new material to throw at my kids. Now when they aren't happy with me or my rules, I can tell them I'll sew button eyes on them and send them off to their Other Mother.

Janet - did Garrett have a good time last night?

Did you guys hear that they canceled Mousefest? or is this old news?

No, I didn't hear that. Did they say why? I'm sure Terry and Stephanie will be heartbroken.

Is the Dis terribly slow for anyone else, or is it just my computer?

Is the DIS running slow for anyone else? It is taking forever to change pages. Facebook & Charter are running fine so I don't think it is my computer.
