Saturday
We decided to do the MK today, so we headed over early and hit a few of our favorite rides. Jake got to drive a car on the speedway by himself for the first time. He was pumped!
They bug us every time we are in the MK to drive the boats by Jungle Cruise.
We then had lunch at the Plaza. Next, we headed back on the launch and dropped our stuff in the room. We headed downstairs to the marina to rent Sea Raycers. Jake had been bugging us to do this all week, and thankfully, it had warmed back up again. Andrew got to drive one for the first time, and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, (or should I say fortunately!) the one Andrew and Randy had didnt go nearly as fast as mine and Jakes went, so we took off and didnt see them again until we had docked.
We changed in to swimsuits and went down to the beach. The boys started digging in the sand, then were recruited to play dodge ball. Jake had played the day before, and when the kids learned Andrew was his brother, they all fought for who went on each team. (Remember that both of my boys take pitching lessons
) I went back to one of the striped loungers, read my book and fell asleep.
We cleaned up and starting packing. We left the hotel to go back to DH to see Osborne lights. Someone gave Jake some 3-D type glasses to view the lights, and Randy put them over the camera lens to take pics.
Then we went to dinner at Citricos, or at least that was where our ADR was. We arrived to find out that earlier in the evening, they had a problem in the kitchen, so it was taking longer than usual to get dinner over an hour. They suggested we try Narcoossees, which I love, so they called down there to make sure they still could seat us. They were told 45 minutes, so they suggested we eat at the Grand Floridian Café. Now, I have no problem with the café I actually like it, but its not the same type/caliber of food as what we had wanted, so I declined. They called back to Narcoossees and told them we were on our way. We actually didnt have to wait but maybe 10 minutes, and had the best waiter weve ever had there. He didnt even charge us adult price for Andrews kid meal. That meal cost us 30 dollars less than that crappy meal at Ohanas!
We went back to the room and finished packing, then headed off to dreamland for our last night at WDW.
