Puck's express or sit down??
I am already doing the special Princess breakfast so that is my character meal for the trip

Kona is on my possible list

I have been here a few times and despite having waited a long time every time to be seated have enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

The Wolfgang Puck Cafe near the Cirque de soliel building is one of my favorites. Love it!!!

Thanks to everyone for the codes!!! I just finished booking (each leg separately) and saved $250!

And pray this week is ok for us. John leaves in the morning for 10 days to Oklahoma City for business. Not looking forward to him being gone so long.

It was definitely the DIS running very slow yesterday.
So far this morning everything is good.

Is the Dis terribly slow for anyone else, or is it just my computer?

Is the DIS running slow for anyone else? It is taking forever to change pages. Facebook & Charter are running fine so I don't think it is my computer.

Good Morning DDA!:goodvibes

The Dis seems to be running fine for me!

No school today, and I am back to work. Blech!
I better get to bed, no telling what time Leighanna will be up wanting me to fix her breakfast.

Jennifer, I can't believe your trip is so close!

Heidi, I bet your excited too!:cool1:

I am in major "Post Disney Depression" mode. :sad1:
Not sure when we will be able to go back. Probably summer of 2010. That seems so far off!:sad2: Hopefully we will be able to squeeze a trip in there before then!

glad i was not home then. went to a birthday party and then did a little shopping. Found some tink valentines that have tattoos in them. will let Olivia use the Valentines for crafts and the tattoos as part of the party favors.

Not sure if these would interest you for her party, but the $ Tree store has Tink & her fairy friends Pez dispensers. These would make nice party favors!

:wizard: for a good week!

Good morning, DDA!

DS has school today, and I have to work. Princess has no school.

I had nightmares last night so I am already tired. It's going to be a LONG day!

No school or work here either. I have an eye appt. this morning. I'm afraid I'm beginning to get old lady eyes. :(

Wow, just like old times around here!! :goodvibes You all went nuts last night!

Emma and Lily showed up about 10pm last night which threw my night off completely. Mo wanted to wait for them so I her and I hung out for a while. Eric napped on the couch  Once the other 2 got here I got them in bed as quick as possible as they needed to get up by 7am for breakfast.

Breakfast was nice but the food was pretty horrible, which is a good thing for me (the scale showed under 200 this morning!!!!!). My dad likes the all you can buffet but our favorite one closed up. There are 2 others around here and neither one of them can come close.

Congrats!

We all enjoyed Coraline. Elizabeth, I think you will like it. It's got that creepy, bizarre quality about it. It's given me new material to throw at my kids. Now when they aren't happy with me or my rules, I can tell them I'll sew button eyes on them and send them off to their Other Mother.

Good one :rotfl:

Sorry about Mousefest Terry and Steffy

Sorry about the post Disney blues Tom, but you can relive the fun with a trip report, (hint, hint)

It sucks lol I have to use reading glasses now, it is very hard for me to see small print any more.

Debbie - tomorrow is the big day!!!!!

Yep, DD is doing fine, she is working today and has a Doctor's appointment this afternoon, she'll get all the details then. I need to get this place cleaned up and ready for Brandon, I went grocery shoppping yesterday and stocked up on his things.

:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

I guess I've had them for years, :rotfl: Which reminds me I need to go get some more contacts.

I need to go to the eye doctor as well. Small writing on medicine bottles is no longer legible, and I'm having trouble reading at night when I'm tired.

Debbie -- you must be so excited! I hope you have a terrific trip!

Terry and Steffy -- sorry about Mousefest.

The boys have school today. Randy was supposed to be off, but of course, they are working. We have the chance for rain today, but I hope it holds off. Andrew has baseball practice tonight and it doesn't conflict with other practices, so I hope we get it in.

Have a good day everyone! :)

I think this is where I stopped on my TR:

Friday

We woke up to no Christmas decorations in the hotel, other than the Gingerbread house. It was kind of sad.

I needed to start slowing down some, so we decided to head back over to Hollywood Studios today for just the morning. We got to the front of the park as the studio was opening, but by the time we got through the turnstiles and ran to Toy Story, there was a 20 minute wait to get a fastpass. Andrew and I did this and rode Star Tours while Randy and Jake rode ToT. Then Randy went and got fastpasses for RNR for Jake and him to ride (no way was I riding coasters/rides that would make my sinus headache worse…).

Jake’s favorite!

We decided to head over to Epcot to get fastpasses for Soarin’, and the boys rode the monorail back, while I headed in the car to downtown Disney.

IMGP0041.jpg

Randy and Jake went down to the beach, and Jake dug in the sand – his fav!

IMGP0041.jpg

We decided not to go do Soarin’, as I was just too tired. I enjoyed the lounge more, then we walked to the Poly to Ohana’s. The worse meal I’ve ever had ANYWHERE. The bread was good, but the noodles were stuck together, the veggie’s had no taste, the meat was full of fat – ugh. Maybe it was an off night, but that was our first and last meal there. We were entertained by all of Jake’s poses, though.

Here’s just a few:

Saturday

We decided to do the MK today, so we headed over early and hit a few of our favorite rides. Jake got to drive a car on the speedway by himself for the first time. He was pumped!

IMGP0094.jpg

They bug us every time we are in the MK to drive the boats by Jungle Cruise.

IMGP0105.jpg

We then had lunch at the Plaza. Next, we headed back on the launch and dropped our stuff in the room. We headed downstairs to the marina to rent Sea Raycers. Jake had been bugging us to do this all week, and thankfully, it had warmed back up again. Andrew got to drive one for the first time, and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, (or should I say fortunately!) the one Andrew and Randy had didn’t go nearly as fast as mine and Jake’s went, so we took off and didn’t see them again until we had docked.

IMGP0188.jpg

We changed in to swimsuits and went down to the beach. The boys started digging in the sand, then were recruited to play dodge ball. Jake had played the day before, and when the kids learned Andrew was his brother, they all fought for who went on each team. (Remember that both of my boys take pitching lessons…) I went back to one of the striped loungers, read my book and fell asleep.

IMGP0051.jpg

We cleaned up and starting packing. We left the hotel to go back to DH to see Osborne lights. Someone gave Jake some 3-D type glasses to view the lights, and Randy put them over the camera lens to take pics.

Then we went to dinner at Citrico’s, or at least that was where our ADR was. We arrived to find out that earlier in the evening, they had a problem in the kitchen, so it was taking longer than usual to get dinner – over an hour. They suggested we try Narcoossee’s, which I love, so they called down there to make sure they still could seat us. They were told 45 minutes, so they suggested we eat at the Grand Floridian Café. Now, I have no problem with the café – I actually like it, but it’s not the same type/caliber of food as what we had wanted, so I declined. They called back to Narcoossee’s and told them we were on our way. We actually didn’t have to wait but maybe 10 minutes, and had the best waiter we’ve ever had there. He didn’t even charge us adult price for Andrew’s kid meal. That meal cost us 30 dollars less than that crappy meal at Ohana’s!

We went back to the room and finished packing, then headed off to dreamland for our last night at WDW.
