oh so much! He tried once again to make his problems my fault. I told him repeatedly this week "I am dammed if I do, dammed if I don't" so I am done not telling him off. He then had the audacity to tell me that I couldn't give him examples from the last couple of months where he hadn't been a good man.

I finally got permission from San Disc to return my defective memory card. It wasn't easy talking to their customer service department but hopefully I'll get a new card soon.

Glad you are getting the card replaced! Ouch on the price of your air fare

Lizzy and I worked a trip report for her this weekend. She did one during the week while she was home in her school journal but it was all bullet points. I told her she needed to do a better job but the task was overwhelming her. We ended up with her dictating it to me as I typed it out for her. She just couldn't sit down and write it all out. I printed out about 100 pictures and then we printed her trip report onto 4x6 index cards and put them all into a photo album. I think she'll really treasure it in the years to come.

Thanks! I don't see how they can't replace it now that they said they would and I sent the old one back.

I was actually worried about the 8:30am flight so this might have worked out for the best. My coworker is on the 9:30 with his family-his mother, father and sister. His family is loony so it will be "fun" to meet them. He & his dad will be in one room and his mom and sister in another. His mom & sister bring their own sheets and full set of cleaning supplies.

Lindsay - that is from USA Baby (which of course isn't local to us but we can order online late March I think is when is comes out). The brand is Sumersault and they have a bunch of cute styles out there. I was bored at work one day and looked around. Since we aren't finding out the sex of the baby, we wanted something neutral - that didn't have to do with teddy bears, frogs, pastels or jungle animals. I fell in love with the hedgehogs in this one!

YAY! Someone who isn't peeking!

I just got an email....I passed the City and County of Denver test....with an 88.86% (I know the section on fractions is really what got me )

So I have made it through to the next step

Ok I was going by the park hours posted on the Dis boards(they still have Sun as being EEH at DHS), guess I better check all the park hours again on the Disney website. Thanks for the heads up Vicki!

I wish there was some way the kid could find out that the number was already taken. I have to believe he wouldn't want to take a number that another kid has worn for so long...... The coach should own up to the mistake and ask the other kid to pick another number.

The kid and the Mom in question were both standing there and weren't budging. He had already told them they could have the number. When I walked up to the group, I heard the coach say, "Just pick a number -- any number." I asked what was up, he told me what happened, I replied "But Jake has had that number his whole soccer life and he had it on the Titans in the Fall. The witch Mom said her kid had the number for years and wasn't budging. I guess this is what made me the most mad and frustrated -- the trashy mom!

When we got home, I e-mailed my friend who wasn't there, whose child plays on the team. This coach is her future BIL. I just told her it looked like he knew his soccer, we appreciate him taking the team, told her what happened with the number etc. Not an hour later I took a call from the coach to Jake apologizing. He felt terrible and wanted to talk to Jake. He wanted to thank him for being the nicer kid and taking a different number. I think he's young and just didn't realize what he was doing. He didn't know the number was already taken and handled it badly. I did want to ask him to give the number to Jake but I decided taking the high road was ultimately the right thing, but not the easiest thing.

I need to ask for a little PD, we got a call at 5:00 am this morning, my DD had a temp of 103.2, so we went to watch the baby while my SIL took her to the ER. They suspect a bladder infection and have started her on an antibiotic, she is very unhappy that they want her to have minimal contact with the baby until her cultures come back.

Poor thing.

Marci, that really is crummy. I would let the coach know that he screwed up. It would be thoughtful of him to tell the mom of the new kid he didn't realize that number was taken.
Unless you are looking for pins to trade the drive to Lewisville is probably not really worth it. I can't imagine that we will make another trip up there, but I will probably keep an eye on the threads about the sale in case they get replenished with something amazing. DH got to look in the Circuit City across the street but they didn't have anything good.

We never go to the movies so we don't know anything about any of the Oscar nominees.

Let me know if you hear that they cut the prices even further.

It was okay. That place is HUGELY overrated, as well as overpriced. I think it's cheaper to eat at WDW on the DDP than at that place. Now that I've been there once, I don't have a need to go back. It is NOISEY! Everything is crammed together. There are 6 toilets and 3 shower stalls in their locker room. But their big advertisement is that you can start using the waterpark before you can check into your room, and on the day of checkout you can stay and use the waterpark. So that means there are gobs and gobs of people that need to change into or out of swimming suits in the lock room, because they don't have a hotel room. I think GWL should have designed a locker room that could handle that. We did get upgraded to a room with a loft, so that was nice.

But the kids had a great time and that is what matters. I was content to sit in a chair and watch them.

The loft room was what we had at GWL.
It is definitely noisy.
The only food we bought there was pizza, which wasn't horribly overpriced.
I never went in the locker room. We had the boys change in the hotel room each time because I didn't want to have to fool with them changing in the locker room. Although on Saturday morning the water park wasn't crowded, so the locker room might not have been too bad.

Janet- We have a Kuerig and we LOVE it. The only drawback is the coffee is expensive. But it's so nice to be able to pop a K-Cup in and have a hot, fresh cup of coffee in seconds.
