Meant to say - Elizabeth - duly noted on the bedding. Dry clean only bedding???!!!! :scared: I would think the dry cleaning bills alone could put one in the poor house!

I am by no means set on going that route, but I will explore it if I can't find anything I like when the time comes. As we will find out the gender, I do plan on theming the room as such, but I'll start looking around to see if there's anything great.

Jonathan was just saying today that he can't believe he has to wait another 11 weeks to find out what we're having - he would never make it 9 months! :rotfl:

:rotfl:

Its quiet today! Im being kind of lazy so i keep checking in here and theres one or two posts--i guess everyone else has a life lol

And just like magic, DH calls and says they are done!

He said it was a disorganized mess. DS had to play one drum in one room, then move to a different room to play the other drum. How hard is it to put 2 drums in one room? :confused3

They are so far behind the band directors may not have results until Monday. Sounds like a disaster!

sounds about right for any music competition I've ever been to.

well I am at work. But it has been a pretty nice day, till a patient miss behaved. She is now back over in Labor and Delivery.

you are right he wouldn't last the whole time. :rotfl2:

Lindsay - DS said he thought he did well. He thinks he made a mistake on one section of his timpani solo, but I guess the snare went well. :)
DH said the band director told him they expect DS to compete on the state level as he gets older. They are going to start him on the quads next year. Funny that we were told he was REQUIRED to play bells, yet he hasn't touched a bell all year. :confused3

I don't think there are as many choices for bedding locally as there were when I had DS. I think there are more "boutique" shops and fewer big retailers. We used to LOVE Baby Superstore, but it was taken over by Babies R Us and they don't have the selectiont hat they did before.

Theresa - Great! Good to know this is par for the course so we won't expect it to be different next time! :rotfl2:

Chanon and Bob,,,I am so very happy for you two!!!

Two DDA babies almost back to back!!!!

When I had our third, I also had my tubes tied. I told the DR I did not care if I could have a few more C-sections, three was my limit. I told him to make sure he cut, tied, burned those tubes. I did not want to get pregnant again. His response was that one in 250 times, a woman gets pregnant anyway.

Nine months after Steve was born, Hal and I had a chance to get away for the weekend at a Pocono resort as our tenth wedding anniversary present from his folks. It was the most relaxing time I had had and we really enjoyed ourselves. Well,,,,,two months later and no period. I called the DR's office and made an appointment. I was ready to fall apart because we just could not afford to go thru another pregnancy and I was ready to really hurt the DR.:lmao: The day of the appointment, my period started. It seems that we had such a relaxing time that weekend, that my system just didn't want to start back up like it was supposed to. I told the DR that it would have to have been divine intervention because I was not going to be that
250th woman to have a child after having my tubes tied :rotfl:

And now with all of the plumbing gone since I was 37 years old, no chance of me getting pregnant.

My parents decided that three children were enough after I was born, so Mom had her tubes tied. My little brother's name is Kevin, talk about a surprise.

I'm one of the lucky one's. No morning sickness, I'm just tired a lot. I'm ready for my body to quit telling me this is hard work and/or just start showing something for it!

Amy - thanks for the Special Message - you should have used it on Lindsay....I was up twice last night. :confused3

That was my backup! Thanks to a wonderful person on the boards, I was able to get the heartbeat from my phone to mp3 to 4shared so you all could here it. Here's our nursery bedding!

That's cute. You guys are picking things out quickly. What names have you picked out?

We found that Burlington coat Factory had the best selection when I was pregnant.

Debbie, it is a small world. My name is Debra Jean and My little brother's name is Kevin too :lmao:

I survived the day unscaved. We did CPR, choking and AED today so there wasn't an opportunity for me to get hurt :lmao: My fingers are okay. They sting pretty bad when they first get wet, but otherwise they are fine. Tomorrow we have first aid and backboarding followed by an 80 question test. I need to read and study tonight, but all I really want to do is go to bed. I'm really tired. I told Chris that I'm drawiing a bath now, I plan to grab my book and notes and study in bed until I fall asleep

Hi Theresa how has your day been.

ohhhhh...tense!

We did go to Target where I found a ton of stuff in the Valentine's section for 90% off and Dollar Spot at 75% so I was able to pick up a few more things for Abi's birthday and some chocolate for me for under $6.:cool1:

It does get better....in marching band....maybe:rotfl:

CBA made it a rule this year that if you were late to check in you lost your spot, no exceptions. That has stopped the extreme delays (we are talking hours)

Hi, Janet! How much snow did you guys get?

One flake to many :rotfl: I am not really sure, but the winds is what is causing the problems. The main roads are ok, but the sides & highways are getting some nice drifts.

The band director told DH that going forward (I guess in high school) there are no changes to assigned times, so Pushy Mom won't be able to manipulate things to her liking.

Hope the written exam goes well, Deb!

Theresa - I was SOOO tempted to buy clearance Valentine candy the other day! The only reason I didn't is because I didn't feel like splitting the stuff into 2 transactions.

Congrats!! :thumbsup2

I just called the band director for DS's scores. He got Superior in both snare and timpani!!
