Lindsay - I would love to talk with your realtor since Lake Highlands is where we think we want to buy!
I can come up with houses in the zip where the other 2 houses are, BUT they are north of LBJ and we want to be south. The others that are coming up are near Love Field (like almost ON TOP of the airport), or over between Webb Chapel and I35, which is really dangerous and in the zone for an even worse high school than where we are.

I recently found out that the gang activity at the school DS is headed to has gotten out of hand. Pair that with their crummy band program and I DO NOT want him to go there. The middle school thugs are bad enough.

Funny thing is I had no trouble getting a CP ADR
for 2 at anytime I wanted for lunch.

I had trouble changing a few ADR's last week and then read on the Dis that it was easier to get an ADR for 3 or 4 than for 2. I called back and asked for a party of 3 and I could get anything I wanted. SO.....I have an ADR for a party of 3 at 8:10 for Crystal Palace on the 28th. It would be wonderful if you could join us. MK opens at 9am on that morning.

I'm unmotivated again. What's new? I had Chris DVR Treasure Quest on Thursday night. We just watched it. That looks like a very exciting job. I've always been fascinated with things like that. Of course it only DVRd the first 54 minutes for some reason so we missed the end

I guess I should finish up the laundry and get to work on the furniture. I need to accomplish something today.

Oh yeah, I did win a pair of ski boots on ebay. I just won them today. They were about $50 with shipping and the sale said they have never been used. Hopefully they will serve my purpose since I won't use them often anyway. They are being shipped flat rate so I don't think I'll have them for Wednesday, but they should take too long. Then again we shipped those napkins from WDW to Paula and it took months

We are about halfway through dismantling Christmas. DH and DS just left to go get some bins out of the storage unit for the decorations (all of the stuff that isn't ornaments) and the box the tree goes in. I am sure our neighbors will appreciate the fact that my wreath is gone. I have a Valentine wreath thing - guess I should go look for it.

DH has been pestering me to let him buy a third dSLR, but I am standing firm. Today he announced he will sell his hunting rifles to pay for the camera. OK, now we are getting somewhere! He hasn't been hunting in a couple of years. The last time he had a hunting license it expired without him going out a single time. When he DID go out hunting in the past he never did shoot anything, so it seems very silly to hang on to the rifles.

Random question - does anyone have a '09 AAA Diamond Parking Pass that I can buy/barter from you? (I realize it's pretty early in the year, and probably unlikely, but I'd rather buy one from a DDA member than eBay. )

When do you need it? Which reminds me, how do I get one?!

We're AAA members for the first time ever, only out of necessity when stuck downtown once and needing a tow....

Yeah, or anything square is usually extra postage, no matter what the size. It doesn't go through the regular machines, so it has to be hand canceled, etc. Bummer!

You have to book your trip as a package through AAA. It comes with your travel documents.

Ahh, I see. That stinks! You obviously can't book DVC through them, so I guess I could/should have done my airfare? We weren't members when I did that. Maybe it's transferable....? Probably not

The bug killer is made and sprayed The couch and chair are reassembled. I have a livingroom again. We will spray the underside of the couch and chair monthly to make sure we take care of the entire problem. We also have 3 trapped placed so we'll see what those turn up. I feel better having that done. Another load of laundry in done too
