DDA Chapter 17

So how is everyone doing on their diets? There was lots of chatter in the beginning, but not so much now. I'm hoping that everyone is sticking to it and having great success. Chris and I are staying on track. Chris has lost 11 lbs and me just 3, but that is 3 less than I started with :cool1:

That is wonderful Deb!

Chris and I are going through our winter blues. usually we are planning a summer vacation by now. We will most likely go to Hershey, but ticket prices haven't been released yet and until we do our taxes we don't know where we stand financially. I really need something to be planning for.

This time of year is always hard, together we will get through

Eating a spoonful of sugar usually does the trick for me :thumbsup2

I do not have them right now. But I have had them on and off since about 2pm. I get rid of them and they keep coming back.

Oh yeah, I did win a pair of ski boots on ebay. I just won them today. They were about $50 with shipping and the sale said they have never been used. Hopefully they will serve my purpose since I won't use them often anyway. They are being shipped flat rate so I don't think I'll have them for Wednesday, but they should take too long. Then again we shipped those napkins from WDW to Paula and it took months ;)
Congrats. I hope they fit and that you like them. I bought my first ski boots at a ski swap and they were horrible. My feet hurt so bad. So the next year I invested in a nice new pair. It was like skiing in bedroom slippers they were so comfy.

We still have to take the Xmas stuff down. Although we did take some down today.

What DSLR does he want now? I am glad to see he is willing to part with something in order to get it.

Some camera that has weather seals so he can take it out in the rain. I think it is an older model Olympus. He will have to buy it secondhand because there is no such thing as a new one.

I hate hiccups. I hope you can get rid of them!

The ones that I had were fine and I had had new ones growing up, but I just can't fathom paying $400 or more for a pair of boots that I will only use a handful of times each year. These will have to do.

Yes it was much warmer today! It is 28 degrees now :thumbsup2

Bob and I were talking about vacations at dinner tonight. Since he has Bethany for one week after school is out, before she goes to spend the summer with her mother, we will probably go to the beach that week. Then in August it will be the 4 of us going to WDW. I'm hoping to book a friend's 3 br condo at Emerald Isle, NC.

We all went bowling today too. I suck at bowling. Then we went out to dinner. Tomorrow we are going to take the kids ice skating. I also need to take Alyssa to the mall. She could use a few more pair of jeans. I desparately need to get to the grocery store as well. And be home by 6:30 to watch the game.

That sounds fun. Isn't it nice to have something to look forward to:goodvibes

Deb - I like all of your new pictures. I see you are feeling a bit Valentiney.

He really wanted to go to WDW that first week. I told him there was NO WAY I could go to WDW the first week of summer vacation. I wouldn't have anything to look forward to all summer. Except going back to school!

I needed to get rid of my Christmas avatar :rotfl:

That is so true. An end of summer vacation is much nicer. Unfortunately every few years we do an earlier vacation just to get the most out of annual passes ;)

I'm so looking forward to heading back to the beach this summer. We haven't been in several years. Anyone else interested in going that week? I'd be willing to look into renting a house with lots of bedrooms!

Oh man, I missed my milestone post.

which week is it? I don't know if your kids get out of school the same week as yours?

Wonderful, on my no diet diet.

Hey! Me, too! I got on the Fit this morning for the first time since last Sunday. My weight hasn't changed, which is remarkable since I ate birthday cake from Princess's party for 5 days in a row! :rotfl2:

I think we may end up going in June in 2010 since our APs will expire 8/1.

I am off the first week of June because Princess is going to SC, but DS is still in school until like Thursday of that week. And DH doesn't have any vacation time. My bosses were talking about going away the second week of June, but that didn't work out. When do your kids finish school?

Oh man, I missed my milestone post.

Congrats on 19,000! :cheer2:
