Elizabeth glad to hear the science project is done!

Beth the deciding factor on Niagara falls is whether or not the boys will need a passport. Right now they only need a birth certificate, but sounds like that might change by June. Would love to meet you if we go though!

Yeah, we don't have passports either (and it would be too expensive to get them for a family of 5), so I'd have to stay on the American side if that does finally go through.

I think I'm getting Matthew a passport for his 18th birthday. You never know when you may need it...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMMI!

Marci - What are your dates again? And why do you miss all of us? You are cruising, right? I can't keep everyone's details straight.

We fly in on July 29th, and leave for the cruise on August 1st.

Did you guys settle on a date for Great Wolf Lodge? I saw in the Dallas Business Journal that they are going after convention business. I knew they were building on more rooms because we could see the work when we stayed there. They evidently added more convention meeting space as well.

I know this sounds awful....but I was so happy that the Holiday Sing was canceled due to the bad weather....as you guys have heard me complain that there is not 1 single Christmas song......well, they have rescheduled it for Friday! :sad2:

Guess what the theme of the Holiday Sing is this year????? Not Jesus, not peace on Earth....but Recycling!! I hope I make it through

Good morning...

I managed to do a mile this morning on the treadmill. The girls woke up a bit early and we were rockin' out to the Jonas Brothers while I walked!!:rotfl: They thought it was hilarious!

My girlfriend goes to WW tonight and I think that I am going to go ahead and join. I have done it online in the past and done well but I think going with her and having to actually weigh in with someone will keep me on track.

I have also been eating breakfast, a foreign concept to me unless you count a pot of coffee!! I think that is helping a lot.

Yay on the treadmill and the breakfast! I think breakfast has been helping me, too.

I did great on WW. I'm trying to see if I can do it on my own this time, because I'd rather not spend the money right now, and I don't have anyone to go with this time. If I had a friend going to meetings, I'd probably go, too. It definitely helps to have to weigh-in in front of someone.

What are the dates that cover everyone in Aug, the 9th to the 15th? I keep bringing it up with Eric and I think he's on board, now just to come up with the money.:rotfl: :rotfl:

I received a PIN by e-mail for 40% off room rates last night. I tried to bring dh on board with an August trip, but it was definitely NO! That's because there is no money to find.

Good luck with your plans!!!

I did not have a good night's sleep at all. I planned to go to bed at 10 PM. I sat on the couch to watch the end of a show and found one little tiny brown bug crawling across a little blanket that was on the couch. I am a bug o phobe so I immediately started tearing the couch apart. first I took the fitted cover off, but I didn't see anymore. Then the cushion came off, still nothing. Then I looked down inside the couch through a tear that is under the cushions. There was all kind of crap in there. so I took some white lysol cleaning wipes and started pulling stuff out. Mind you I do vacuum in the hole when I clean and when the cover is not on. Well apparently crumbs and cat hair had sifted through the cover and ended up in the hole. I did find 2 other little bugs in there. So I spent the next hour and a half searching the web trying to identify the little pests. Of course I couldn't find a photo that matched. If you google couch bugs bed bugs come up, but they don't really look like bed bugs. I was thinking fleas, but they aren't exactly a flea either. So I had no idea what they were when I went to bed. Of course by then I would have sworn that I had bugs crawling on me, so I couldn't sleep. When I finally dosed off I had a nighmare about a murder (probably because I watched one of those crime dramas before I went to bed). About that time Hunter came in as he had had a nightmare of his own. He ended up sleeping on the futon in our room. By then it was 4 AM and I knew that they would be deciding if school would be cancelled around 4:30. We usually get a call between 5:15 and 5:30 so I couldn't fall asleep wondering. The call finally came in at around 5:45. I dosed on and off until 8:30 when I came out to tackle our problem. It is time for me to dissect the couch and clean it well. I am not at all happy about doing it or what I might find. I do know that these are NOT the same critters that we had last year when the exterminator came. I think that problem has been resolved as we freeze all dry pet food when we buy it. I wonder if Riley brought a new friend home in his fur :scared1:

pixiedust: that it was just a stray or two. I'm a giant bug-a-phobe, too, and nearly lost my mind when we went through a flea problem 9 years ago.

It's an ice day here. The phone rang at 5:48 to let us know. Dh decided to work from home, too, because our roads really are slick.

I started to get up at 6:00 but felt dizzy and queasy, so I went back to bed until 8:30. I haven't done anything of value in the last 2 hours, so I guess I should try to get something done. Or at least shower. :rotfl:

Have a great day, DDA!

Any chance of sticking around for a couple of days after the cruise?
We *think* Feb. 7 but we haven't booked it yet. Since they charge a cancellation fee I want to be sure before we book.

Bummer. :guilty: Well, hang on to the code. You never know. :confused3

I really need to get Emma one (she may be going to Germany in the spring), guess I should find out what I need and how much it's gonna cost me!!

Sounds like a fabulous event:rotfl2:

I don't like paying but I figure it will keep me accountable and it will get me out of the house for a bit!!

I was thinking the same thing (about me). :rotfl: :rotfl:

I've met both of them in person and there is nothing blubbery about either one!!:goodvibes

I want a code:sad1:

Enjoy your ice day.

Off to try and be productive for a little bit. I need to get Lu up from her nap and get the dishwasher emptied before lunch.

It's rainy and miserable here and I am not looking forward to having to drag everyone back out later to pick Mo up from school.

Robyn - Here's a plan:
Come to the "no diet" dark side with Tammi & me. Save the money you would pay WW and put it in a fund for Disney. :rolleyes1 Instant gratification is way better than long term good health! :thumbsup2

Our weather is pretty nice today. Monday was our rainy & gross day.

I need to go get a birthday present for Princess. Her actual birthday is tomorrow. I have NO CLUE what to get for her! She already has one of everything! She has had BOTH sets of grandparents here over the past couple of weeks and they bought her Christmas and birthday stuff. Momboss kept adding more kids to the birthday party so she is going to end up with a BUNCH of presents from that, too. Maybe I will go see what I can find at Borders. She loves books and movies. Maybe I can get "Peter Pan" for her.

Ha, I'd like to but if we come to WDW I don't want to be all blubbery in 100 degree temps!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
