Here are the bugs. I think they resemble fleas, but they don't seem to jump. They crawl, but they do have wings. They are tiny and move pretty quickly for their size. I also saw on on a cracker crumb which makes me think pantry pest rather than fleas

And here is what the underside of a 10 year old couch looks like

Now that I've done it , I would highly recommend everyone clean the bottom of their couch out Lots of stuff finds it's way down there, especially with kids in the house. It only takes a pair of needle nose pliers to take apart and a staple gun to put it back together. I wish I'd done it before as I would have probably avoided all insect issues.

Definitely not fleas...no wings on fleas.

Ha, I'd like to but if we come to WDW I don't want to be all blubbery in 100 degree temps!!!

But then you could sweat off the pounds....lose weight without dieting...and WDW....all in one!

Does anyone know if DVC points are renting well? I'm considering renting out my points. If there is any type of good discount available for August, it would be fun to stay at the Poly. If I can rent points and get a discount, I might actually MAKE money on the deal.

Jennifer - you may not like that last photo people you used, but I think they did great sillouettes of the girls! Those will look great next to each other.
I am totally amazed at how big they are getting...I still can't get over that.

Cotton base layers are not a good idea. Cotton holds the moisture toward the skin instead of wicking it away which keeps you cold. A synthetic base layer is much better. Most long underwear is now synthetic. Either a polyester, neoprine or lycra blend. I may contain a little cotton, but not 100%. The old style waffle weave long johns are still 100% cotton and the older generations still buy them so store still sell them. MIL bought Chris a set for Christmas this year, actually she does every year and he doesn't wear them Of course he couldn't possibly tell his mother.

Tammi - No clue on the points. I have seen people listing them for as much as $12 but I don't know if they are getting that. I might need more points for 2010, but that doesn't help you for this year.

Hello DDA! Just a quick fly by post as Connor will be here any time to help decorate a cake the girls made on Monday. Then this evening there is some kind of surprise planned. (Actually, Kassie isn't good at secrets apparently as Kristi tells me it is a surprise New Year's Eve party, but Terra hasn't let out a word about her plans/ideas. I only know it was a cake being made because Phil needed help converting Terra's secret ingredients into something edible.)

The battery died in Gary's Jimmy & there is something wrong with the left front side(I guess it is shaking bad). I had to give a urine sample at the hospital today. I thought whatever I had was gone, but nope. So we will see what the results say. Plus I have my dental issues going on.

This all is taking money that I was not planning on be taken. So Gary & I will unfortunately be discussing whether the March trip is a good idea or not.

I understand all too well I have no idea when we will be able to make another trip to WDW. A lot will depend on our tax return this year. We still need to replenish our savings from using it to purchase the outiside furnance. Once I found the bugs last night I was ready to throw our couch out and buy a new one which would be another huge expense. Thankfully the couch is not full of bugs so we will not have to shell out that money right now. We had decided long ago that this would be our year off from Disney, but it is just so hard to resist. I'm sure our Pennsylvania trip will be fun, but it won't be WDW. This year is my 40th birthday so I'd like to so a mini trip of some sort around that though I haven't talked to Chris yet.
