We're back from our whirlwind trip, things went well but I have to say that I don't recommend that anyone go the week fter Christmas, it is a total madhouse!

Welcome home, Debbie (and Richie)! How is his back? And I need lots of pictures of Osborne Lights since we didn't get there AGAIN this year!

Welcome home Debbie. I'm interested in hearing about your trip.

Good evening, everyone. I never had a chance to get on today. We've been crazy busy, and my parents leave tomorrow. I'm SO NOT looking forward to going back to reality. School, work, homework, activities. I love being on break!

I am sorry you have to go back to reality and that your parents are leaving tomorrow. I have been singing, "I don't wanna grow up, I don't wanna go to school" all afternoon here.

Have I mentioned that I hate Science Fair? It bears repeating. I HATE Science Fair!! The display board is coming along nicely. It's the research paper I am dreading. And some of the directions are kind of confusing. The rules/components are different this year and I don't quite understand some of it. The written directions and the diagrams don't really help. Pass the class, pass the class, pass the class...

Who is passing this class?

Elin - Potentially NOBODY will be passing this class if we don't get it all finished on time! But we have tomorrow and Tuesday night to finish it up. Like I said, the directions are really confusing as far as what has to be printed out and included. It is confusing ME, so I am sure the kids are probably confused, too.

Well, my house is as about as ready as it will be for tomorrow. We spent a good portion of today sorting, trashing, and moving things from one place to another. We did some laundry and put that away. Eric took down our outside lights and put away all of our Christmas decorations. I feel much better about going into tomorrow. But like everyone else, I don't wanna.

I also managed to take some pictures of the ornaments that Emma and I received in the exchange. We love them!
This is Emma's from Olivia (Emma also got a ton of Hannah Montana extras that have since been ferreted away to her room)

Well, my house is as about as ready as it will be for tomorrow. We spent a good portion of today sorting, trashing, and moving things from one place to another. We did some laundry and put that away. It looks like the January slowdown has already hit the restaurant. I only waited on 9 people I didn't have anyone sit after 6:30 and they were all gone by 7:30. We closed the restaurant early as it was completely empty. Usually people are using up gift certificates for a couple of weeks after Christmas Maybe everyone stayed home to prepare for the reality that tomorrow will bring to most households.

It was nice to walk into a reality clean house for a change
