Good morning, everyone! It's a cold, clear, windy day here. The kind of day that if you are a kid makes you want to go sledding, and if you are an adult, makes you want to stay in with hot cocoa and a good book.
Anyway, today is going to be busy! We are having Timothy's christening tomorrow, and we need to get the house cleaned before company descends tonight. After the christening we are all going to my SIL's house for a party. I told Alan I want my Thanksgiving dinner, since Timothy's coming prevented me from having anything remotely like Thanksgiving (they gave me tomato soup!). So, Alan is cooking 2 turkeys, I'm making pies and stuffing, and the rest of the family are all bringing something to round out the dinner. Sounds yummy, huh? Of course it means I have to clean my kitchen so I have somewhere to work. Wish me luck.
I'm also hoping to make a run to the library at some point. They are holding the movie Penelope for me, and I really want to see it! If I don't make it there today, I'll pick it up when I'm running errands on Monday. It will just be the baby and me, so that might be the easiest thing to do! We'll see how frustrated I get with my family. Yesterday was interesting, to say the least! The kids and I were working on cleaning the basement (under Alan's orders), but he was on his computer most of the day. He'd pop down just long enough to criticize what we were doing, organize one thing, and then back to the computer. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN TODAY! I may have to hide his laptop. If you hear a loud scream, it's me as Alan is choking me!
Have a great Saturday DDA!
