Elin, I saw them both without any trouble. Tammi is right, you got some marvelous shots! I love your tree :) Did you decorate the wreath as well?

I loved all of you Mardi Gras decorations. It looked so festive. The girls looked really happy too. The photos of your trip are so detailed, I bet you can remember every little thing that happened. I know you were disappointed with no WDW last year so I hope that made this year's trip even sweeter :thumbsup2

I'm really enjoying learning new things about all of you. Chris was impressed that Glynis was an international fiddle playing, heart breaking, potential spy :rotfl2: I had no idea that Kristine mingled with celebs :thumbsup2 Man I live a boring life.

4-I mainly listen to country music andh ave been to many concerts
5-I used to be incredibly shy
6-I would do anything for my friends and family-including you guys! I dont know hwat i would do without you all
7-Im not a big city person-Dont mind visiting fora day or so, but I could never live in a big city
8-I will sometimes watch reruns of shows that i grew up watching (saved by the bell, full house, etc)

21-I write letters/cards to soldiers that are deployed--I keep in contact with many of them even after they are home
22-I am more into watching football than most of the guys i knwo around here (i guess thats what i get for growing up around all the firemen!)
23-I am not a big chocolate person
24-I have never seen The Wizard of Oz
25-I hate scary/horror movies

I just about lost 10 years off of my life. I was checking voice mails on my home line phone and there was a recorded message from my dad's firehouse. It was takling about a firefighter that was killed in the line of duty yesterday. The way that the message is, they say the persons name in the beginning but it gets cut off by the answering machine. So i heard that and had no idea who it was and my dad is not home to check. I called one of my firemen and it was another company and the firefighter was killed by getting hit by the firetruck while directing it. The fire was arson and the person that started it is now being charged with murder.

Please keep the firefighter and his family, both real and fire family in your prayers..and the poor firefighter that hit him with the truck.

I thought of a 26(I know you only asked for 25 lol). I am related to the Everly Brothers from my mothers side & even though I do not recall meeting them they were at my grandparents 50th wedding Anniversary.

We are all stuffed from breakfast. Now I need to get Garrett's cake & tidy up the house a bit. He has invited 10 friends over to have tacos & cake. They will be coming over around 5 & after they eat we will drop them all off at the movie theater.

I am letting him have two friends stay over, so it should not be to hectic tonight.

Jen - Good thoughts for the firefighters and their families. Very sad. :sad2:

We are back from buying the rest of the supplies for the project.

We also picked up the novel DS will be starting next week. He brought home a note saying he needed to bring $4.60 to school to buy the novel. Well, I had $5 in Borders Bucks so we bought it for $.99. And now I don't have to come up with $4.60 in cash, put it in an envelope, remind him to give it to the teacher, blah blah blah. So much easier to just buy it on our own!

I took 3 ink cartridges back to Staples. We will get a $9 to use on our Staples reward card at the end of the month. I have never done that before. If it truly is as easy as it sounds then that is a rocking deal!

Thanks, Deb. :goodvibes

I spent a lot of "me" time taking photos. I walked around POFQ three mornings and took 200-300 photos which I then gleaned down to approximately 120. I spent time doing things that not everyone does at WDW. I rode very few rides.... probably less than 10! But I spent time in the parks and in our resort soaking up the feel of WDW which is what I miss most when I come home.

We also spent a lot of time just sitting around talking and laughing. We could have done that anywhere, but we all agreed that we were very happy to be in WDW to spend quality family holiday time.

More to come later!

So he is 15. Does that mean that he gets his learners permit soon? Nick is so looking forward to that and he is only 13.

Jen I'm so sorry for the firefighter. That is horrible.

I've got our room cleaned and I've started washing the snowboard clothing. Chris has gone to get some firewood. At some point I have to go pick up groceries. It is hard to be on a diet when there is nothing diet friendly to eat.

Christmas has been removed from the bathroom :cool1: Notice I didn't say that it was clean  That only leaves one tree to come down. Things are coming together, finally. Of course I'm in a weird funk today. I HAVE to go shopping, but I don't want to go. I'm feeling stressed that I still have a to do list a mile long and I'm working at both the school and AJ's this week plus snowboarding starts on Wednesday. I'm working tomorrow night which really cuts into the weekend given that I need to be in at 4 PM. For some reason today feels like Sunday anyway.

I have some real concerns that Colby my have an attention disorder. He just can't seem to stay focused on learning his alphabet. His mind is just all over the place. I can ask him to write a specific letter, he can write the correct letter, but then he can't tell me what the letter is :confused3 I think I'll talk to his teacher and his speach teacher too. If he has a learning disability I'd like to catch it early. Elizabeth does any of this sound familiar to you. I'm seeing some of what you go through and it sure is frustrating.

I so look forward to the days that I can do that. But then I'm sure I'll miss the days that I have now. It certainly is a catch-22.

Deb - your school system probably has a testing system in place and it will kick in eventually. But you could facilitate it if you feel there is a chance that Colby does have a learning disability. Generally requests for evaluation from parents in addition to teachers are accepted. Good luck.
