Garrett is officially 15 now![]()
Elin, I saw them both without any trouble. Tammi is right, you got some marvelous shots! I love your treeDid you decorate the wreath as well?
I just about lost 10 years off of my life. I was checking voice mails on my home line phone and there was a recorded message from my dad's firehouse. It was takling about a firefighter that was killed in the line of duty yesterday. The way that the message is, they say the persons name in the beginning but it gets cut off by the answering machine. So i heard that and had no idea who it was and my dad is not home to check. I called one of my firemen and it was another company and the firefighter was killed by getting hit by the firetruck while directing it. The fire was arson and the person that started it is now being charged with murder.
Please keep the firefighter and his family, both real and fire family in your prayers..and the poor firefighter that hit him with the truck.
I loved all of you Mardi Gras decorations. It looked so festive. The girls looked really happy too. The photos of your trip are so detailed, I bet you can remember every little thing that happened. I know you were disappointed with no WDW last year so I hope that made this year's trip even sweeter![]()
We are all stuffed from breakfast. Now I need to get Garrett's cake & tidy up the house a bit. He has invited 10 friends over to have tacos & cake. They will be coming over around 5 & after they eat we will drop them all off at the movie theater.
I am letting him have two friends stay over, so it should not be to hectic tonight.
I so look forward to the days that I can do that. But then I'm sure I'll miss the days that I have now. It certainly is a catch-22.Thanks, Deb.![]()
I spent a lot of "me" time taking photos. I walked around POFQ three mornings and took 200-300 photos which I then gleaned down to approximately 120. I spent time doing things that not everyone does at WDW. I rode very few rides.... probably less than 10! But I spent time in the parks and in our resort soaking up the feel of WDW which is what I miss most when I come home.
We also spent a lot of time just sitting around talking and laughing. We could have done that anywhere, but we all agreed that we were very happy to be in WDW to spend quality family holiday time.
More to come later!

HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY!
I have some real concerns that Colby my have an attention disorder. He just can't seem to stay focused on learning his alphabet. His mind is just all over the place. I can ask him to write a specific letter, he can write the correct letter, but then he can't tell me what the letter isI think I'll talk to his teacher and his speach teacher too. If he has a learning disability I'd like to catch it early. Elizabeth does any of this sound familiar to you. I'm seeing some of what you go through and it sure is frustrating.
