Well, we have had a massive snowstorm all day long! It was supposed to hit us around noon, and I had grand plans to get my grocery shopping done, but the storm hit at 8:00 and is still going strong. At last look, we have 11 inches of new snow. Katie has shoveled the sidewalk 3 times today, and Alan will definitely have to plow the driveway when he gets home. We are supposed to get more snow tomorrow, have a break on Christmas Eve, and then have another huge storm on Christmas day. Luckily, we're traveling on Christmas Eve, so we should be ok.

I spent today doing laundry for the trip, baking cookies and making more peanut brittle. I also managed to pack the twins clothes, and Jacob's for the trip. Just Katie, Timothy, Alan and myself to pack for now. I'll try to tackle that after dinner, but Alan is working late, and this is Timothy's fussy time. Katie is holding him now, bless her heart, but he's starting to cry. Guess it's time to nurse again.

Talk to y'all later!

Jennifer love all the pictures you are posting!

Tammi how special to be able to carry on the tradition with the cookie cutters :goodvibes

So for those of you that have cooked prime rib before, anything special I need to know? Any certain way you seasoned it?

I plan on cooking it in my roaster so my oven will be free for other items.

Night all, chat with you tomorrow!

When I was considering prime rib, I was searching for recipes here .

I'm waiting for Chuck to get back to let you know what he puts on our prime rib. We are having one on the grill tomorrow for my team party. Woohoo!!! :woohoo: I get to celebrate with my former staff tomorrow. I really miss them.

Someone please tell me why I shouldn't go to WDW for spring break. I got a coupon from airtran for $25 off, and could fly for $80 rt, April 13-16.

The Princess princess: Bride was on earlier and of course, I thought of Amy.

Did you get your meds today, Vicki?

If you can afford it than you should go. We would love to plan a trip, but alas it is not in the budget this year. I guess that will just make the next one all that much sweeter.

You really aren't expecting any of us Disney addicts to try and talk you out of this? :lmao: I'd be so there if I could get cheap flights like that. The cheapest I can get is around $250 each. That is on my plus side of moving to Lansing. We'd only be about 1-1/2 hours from Detroit and flights would be SOOOO much cheaper.

Nope. Realized it too late tonight. I'll make sure to get them tomorrow after the party. I also have to mail out my Christmas cards which we completed yesterday.
