Loving all the pictures!

Tammi,
Alyssa's hair is so cute!

Katie slept ALL day, boy she must have really needed that because she is not a sleeper at all. She ate dinner & felt alittle sick again but thankfully she has not thrown up again (well yet anyway).
Thanks. That's how Alyssa is too. She doesn't look or act sick, but then when she eats it becomes another story.

As a kid, my favorite part of Christmas was decorating the Christmas cookies. Therefore, I loved these pictures!!! It brought back such happy memories.
The cutter we used were the ones that I used when I made them with my mom. I told the kids that, and that maybe one day they could be doing this, with the same cutters, with their kids. :goodvibes

The Christmas cookies look good Tammi, tell Nicholas & Alyssa they did good :thumbsup2

Thanks, I will.

Terry - I'm glad you are feeling better.

I wonder what Elin is doing now. Have I mentioned how jealous I am?

The water Dept. came over to make sure all was ok with the lines & yep they were froze. Gary thawed the line & we now have water :thumbsup2

I did call work & have someone drop off 6 gallons of water for me before I went to work. I wasn't sure how long we would be without.

Glad your water is back!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Enjoy your time off!

Thanks! Turns out the grandparents are driving, but Momboss is off tomorrow anyway. I don't think there is any horrible weather between Atlanta and here, so the grandparents should make it tonight. :)

:yay: for getting to sleep in a little! I went to Walmart after work & it was a zoo!

Target was a madhouse this afternoon! Not so much in the store, just the traffic to get out of the parking lot!

I have not felt particularly great all day. I will be heading to the doctor's tomorrow as my cheek is swollen on the right side. I look like a lopsided chipmunk. I am hoping that it's just a sinus infection.

Yikes! I hope you feel better soon! Swelling can't be a good thing.

I hope you aren't coming down with anything, Robyn.

Cute halloween pictures, Jennifer. Just a few holidays behind, but eh, that's okay! ;)

Lots of cute pics of the girls, Jennifer! Virginia is growing up so fast!

Virginia has grown so much & she looks just like Olivia :goodvibes

Yes, she does! :goodvibes

I don't own a rolling pin, so we have never done cut-out cookies. I know, I am a slacker mom. :rolleyes1

And I forgot to say that those cut-out cookies are always the ones we leave out for Santa. Gotta love tradition. :goodvibes:

Remember a month or so ago when I said that I was wanting my parents to get a trampoline for the kids for Christmas? Today I get an email from my dad about why they are unsafe in Pennsylvania..........

Was there a roadrunner anywhere around?
That is exactly what Chris asked when I read Theresa's post to him :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

not sure. I will probably use Hungry Jack syrup as that is the syrup we like

Blasphemy...That is not Maple Syrup, It's flavored sugar. This is Maple Syrup

This is the Maple Products that my brother and his wife make. We help make the syrup and we let them to the rest :goodvibes
Vermont Maple

Anyone have the recipe for Glynis' pot roast? I know it is brown gravy, ranch dressing mix but don't remember the rest. Thanks for any help you can give.

I see that you got lots of responses

To funny :rotfl:

I've loved all of the photos today. Lots of beautiful kids and wonderful presents

Colby, Chris and I took a nap this afternoon. We all felt better after a bit of sleep. Colby hasn't thrown up, but he still has no appetite. He is drinking though and he is acting fine :thumbsup2 Hopefully we won't have a relapse.
After our naps Chris and I attacked the snow on the roof. It took us 2 hours to get it completely shoveled off. I'm glad we got it done as it was pretty heavy even though it wasn't heavy wet snow. It's amazing how heavy snow can be. The snow has compacted some now so it is about up to my knees when I walk through it. Nick and Hunter helped clear the deck after we filled it with snow. We still have huge piles that need to be moved, but we can use the bucket loader on my brother's tractor for that once he takes the plow off. I did have to take down both of my blow up snow globes and my light up snowman and Mickey Mouse as they were in the drop zone. I'm not sure if I will put them back out or not. It will depend on whether we get the snow moved or not.

trail of lights I have a bunch but I thought I would just show you these

Silly woman you don't have to have a rolling pin, a glass tumbler will work too. I'm sure you have a drinking glass in you cupboard ;)

:rotfl: :rotfl: That is certainly dangerous :rotfl: :rotfl:

Speaking of dangerous, Chris and I jumped off the roof tonight :lmao: Of course the snow piles that we jumped into were at least 8 feet tall :scared:

I want eat the store brand or aunt Jamima either. Jeff accidentally bought Aunt Jamima an Olivia said mommy something is wrong with this syrup.

That sounds like fun!

Shhhhh don't tell the kids, but it was fun. We wouldn't let them on the roof as it was really slippery. It was all we could do to stay on the roof to shovel it off. We just decided to jump off at the end instead of trying to navigate a slippery roof onto a slippery metal ladder.

So I am definetely sick. Not what I want at this time of year. Hopefully I will feel better soon. Friday their are only 4 people working in my office. What is the point of being open??

I have to make food for our pot luck tomorrow at work. I am not making it until tomorrow as I am not 100% sure if I am going.

Jen- Alaska sounds like tons of fun. How neat to be going two times in basically a year. It is on my bucket list of places I want to go. You want a stowaway on your trip??:confused3

Hope everyone else who is sick gets better soon. To many sick kids and adults around christmas.

Becky - I hope whatever you've got is short-lived.

Jen's cruise does sound great. I've been eyeing that ABD Alaskan vacation, but it is ridiculously priced. As they all are.
