:wizard: :wizard: for all the sick kiddos!!!

Love all of the pictures. They sure put a smile on my face. Your girls are so cute Jennifer. :goodvibes :goodvibes

And Tammi, the one you posted! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, if I can get through this day at work, I'll be off until January 5th. Boy do I need this vacation!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I'm getting my cards out today. There is a really good chance you won't get them until after Christmas. I'm so sorry. :santa: :santa:

Good morning...

Well I spent about 3 hours in the ER last night. Apparently the pain I felt on Sunday was the start of an infection in my tooth/gum. My right side of my face swelled up a lot more yesterday evening and it is basically in my lower cheek, jaw and chin. Other than the fact that side of my face is 3 or 4 sizes bigger I have very little pain. My gums and teeth are a bit tender. We called our dentist and he wanted me to go to the ER to have IV antibiotics administered and wanted to make sure I didn't swell up to where I couldn't breathe.

So Eric and I headed off and I had a round of IV antibiotics and a CT scan. I managed to sleep some once we got home. Eric will be calling the oral surgeon in a little bit to get an appointment. So hopefully a little bit later I'll know a bit more about what is going to happen.

Oh and while we were at the hospital the stomach bug struck Emma. She has thrown up at twice that I know of.

I fear that this Christmas will be one to remember!!

I'm glad you went to the hospital and didn't wait around. Hopefully it will all be cleared up by Christmas. Poor Emma. Here's some :wizard: for her and that it stays away from the rest of the family.

Well, I got in the shower and the more I thought about it, I decided to stay home another day, just to make sure Alyssa is good and healthy. Just because she didn't barf during the night doesn't mean she's ready to get back to normal. I'll keep her home again, let her rest, and watch what she's eating. I don't want a relapse!

Besides, tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I still have lots to do. ;)

I think homestyle bread would be like Italian Bread that you buy in a loaf and cut yourself? What exactly does day old mean? It that left on the shelf unwrapped? cut it first? :confused3

Not like the italian bread, but just "homemade" style bread... and not freshly baked.

Ok, please yell at me if you see me on here (speaking of which - and this isn't yelling ;) - Vicki, get your medicine!).

We're hosting Christmas Day dinner, and then having a house full of overnight guests all weekend for the Kaufman Christmas, and I NEED TO CLEAN!!!!

Thanks :)

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve Eve! :goodvibes

I've added another installment to my trip report, if anyone is interested.

Sorry. I still don't get it. :confused3

Like from a bread machine, or however else other people make bread that I wouldn't even begin to know! :rotfl:

ETA: Not sure why that didn't work with image tags, but you can click. It looks similar to Italian bread but is usually much softer, flavored more like "regular" white bread, and larger, if that makes sense. It's just "bread machine bread" :teeth:

Robyn :wizard: for you & Emma. I am on a wait list for the Dentist myself. My gum swelled up yesterday & I fear I have another infection :sad2: I swear I take care of my teeth, but it seems I slowly keep losing them :guilty:

Tammi good decision to stay home, hope Alyssa improves as the day goes on!

Sending lot's of :wizard: to all the sick kiddos, I hope everyone is 100% soon

The bathroom is cleaned, ceiling fans & pictures dusted, & two loads of laundry done. Now I need to wash some curtains & clean the floors behind the furniture. But 1st I need a shower so I can get dirty again lol(also in case the Dentist calls, I want to be half way presentable)

Jennifer good luck with the cleaning! I do not have anyone staying overnight, but all family is coming to our house for Christmas :)

Good morning. :)

So far so good with Alyssa.

I'm glad Alyssa is doing OK! :)

Oh, my! I hope you are feeling better soon! Hopefully the virus Emma has won't last long! :wizard:

You don't need a rolling pin, I use a glass.

I also do not have a pastry cloth, or any cookie cutters.
Besides, if I treid to use a glass I would manage to break it, get glass in the dough, and cut my hand to ribbons. No, thanks! ;)

Sorry. I still don't get it. :confused3

I had it explained to me as bread that is thicker than Wonder bread. I like to use Grandma Sycamore's (don't know if you have that brand where you live).

If anyone isn't planning on using their $25 Airtran code, I'm looking for three of them please. Thanks!
