Happy Birthday Chris.

Yup and I would bet that if the guy saw her with security, he would quickly turn and walk the other way.

Always go with your first instinct. Hal and I went to a class that was going over this kind of stuff. Security is there for you, that is their job. Ask them to walk you to your car. Park under a light so you can see under your car. If your car is between two big vans, turn around and get security to walk you out.

DO NOT TAKE CHANCES

This sounds like something Mary Poppins would say. :rotfl2:

Sorry about Katie and the other kid.
:lmao:

Today is Nicholas' field trip to Mt. Vernon. They should be arriving in about an hour so I'll head over to meet them then. It's going to be cold out there!
Have fun!

Well I had my 1st interview today & they did ask if I had any vacations planned(they must really know me lol). So I think if I were to get hired it probably would not be till after I return.

Oh well I will just work more hours where I am at right now. If I am meant to get a 2cd job it will happen.
Continued good luck!

Chanon & Anne Marie this is what I am looking forward to our 1st night, I just love these!

Maybe I better bring sweats to wear home :rotfl:
:)

I am really happy that they called me back. Hopefully they will be able to get through to her that if the swelling gets out of control they may not be able to fix it. She can't just go willy-nilly doing things that will hurt her arm and not ever consider the repercussions. :sad2:
Glad you got to speak to someone about your mom.:wizard:

Here's what I want!

No introduction needed!

mmmm...that looks good! But I still want to try that pasta. I'm gonna see if I can find a pic now!

This was just posted on the front page of the DIS:
While it has not been confirmed by Disney, it appears the annual Christmas Parade taping will be scheduled on November 29 and December 6.

This is a lengthy process. The parade/shows are often stopped and restarted until they have the take that they need for the Christmas broadcast.

Main Street will be crazy crowded. You may want to skip the Magic Kingdom until later in the day.
I think we are good - the 6th is our EPCOT day.

Kristine- Sending you and yours lots of 's

Jen- I am so glad that you are safe. But next time, get the security.

Elizabeth- Glad that they will talk to your mom. Hope she listens!'s

I know I missed a bunch, please forgive me.'s and :wizard:

I am loving all the ornaments, which is a great reminder that I need to get my rear in gear and work on those.

I had another GS meeting last night, came home and crashed. I am slowly catching up on my sleep but still am not getting the amount of sleep I really need.

Emma has bell practice tonight. At some point I need to run a bunch of errands tonight for Girl Scouts and drop off the announcements to Sara.

Well, I let that cat out of the bag big time, didn't I ?? :rotfl2:

You actually already did, when the master exchange setter was talking about the deadline and getting names submitted. Just becuase you 'whisper' in small font ;) doesn't mean we don't see it! :rolleyes1 Seriously though, I was really intrigued at your "requests", and now it all make sense. Those are perfect for both Vicki and Deb! Great job! :teeth:

Oh for the love of Pete! I leave you all for a few months and what do I find today? FOOD!

Happy Birthday Chris

Tammi- sorry to read about Nicholas and allergies as well as a bit of asthma, but it will be all right.

Jen- That is a but scary. I would have done something just like it. Good to read everything is well.

Elin- cool ornaments. I was thinking of ornaments last night and having the girls make some. I wish I could remember who made the wooden ones with the iron on. I think it would be fun to try that.

Anne Marie- PD for you all. Things will get better soon.

Theresa- sounds like you have had some not so fun work days. I am sorry to read that. But we all know that even with the money, it’s not worth the pluto poop. I have that with Home Depot, I need the money, but can’t stand it to the point I don’t care much about the money anymore and ready to leave now.

Mac- PD for a good outcome. I would have so many things to say to my state rep that they would have to kick me out of the office.

Elizabeth- I know it must have been so hard to wait and wait, but glad to read they did get back to you. PD and prayers for you and your mom.

We are busy like always. My step DD is driving us to drink. She is in the house, out of the house, in the house, out of the house. Well after last Friday she is gone for good. Mark can’t put up with her Pluto poop anymore and our house was just not fun to be in or around. I do hope we all can just work things out and someday she will see that we are no evil people, just that she should have done the right things.

The girls are doing well in school. Bethie is getting bigger everyday, she GH shots are working great. She will need to be on them for years as of know, but at least she is getting bigger and at the age of 5 not the size of a two year old anymore.

Ellie is singing her back side off and loving it. She group (dance/signers) are applying to perform at DL. We shall see how that goes.

Mark deploys for 5 months come the end of Jan and I am working at the school as a sub and at night at home depot. I get no sleep but that is only for a bit longer when mark leaves. Then I will only sub at the school.

I do hope all is well with you wonderful folks. Chat with you again when I can.

Hi Paula! Your girls are so adorable! Bethie's curly hair is too cute! I'll have to check out Ellie's youtube/myspace pages when I get home from work.

It's good to hear from you Paula. I'm sorry that things with the Step Daughter have been so troubling. I hope that she eventually mends her ways. The girls are beautiful as usual in your siggie. I understand the no sleep issue. I'm doing nights at the restaurant and subbing at school too. I am also planning to take a position working through the holidays, through the night. It will be great money and I know that it is a set period of time so I think I can manage. I will give up subbing for those weeks since I will need to sleep then. I got a call from the USPS today to set up my drug screening. I assume that I will have the job once they get the results. I certainly don't do drugs so I cannot imagine a problem.

Paula I love the turkey in your signature. Is that a black friday turkey? I gotta have me one of those :thumbsup2

Colby's appointment went well. He is 95th percentile for weight and 65th for height. So he could stand to slim down a bit, but otherwise all is well. The doctor is not concerned that he still bed wets and wants to give him at least 6 more months before we do anything. She also said that there is no need to limit drinking as that is an old wives tale :confused3 :confused3 Now she tells us that as we have been trying that for months with inconsistant results.

Paula - Good to have you stop in! :)

Deb - Good luck getting the last few details for the USPS job taken care of! :wizard:
Happy Birthday to Chris! :dance3:

DH just called and said they have a meeting tomorrow to discuss the restructuring at work. He said the other zone just north of us re-did all of their routes and they are scheduled to start with everybody in their new spots in the next couple of weeks.

They are basically combining all of the smaller routes into bigger ones, and changing the duties the drivers will have. I anticipate it will be an outright fiasco. There is also the intent to kid of "cap" the revenue on the routes by grouping the stores so the drivers don't have a huge variance in salary. They have to do it fast, too, because they have to get through vacation bids in time for people to go on vacation in January! :scared1: The only way around that would be to black-out the entire month of January to buy more time and have more guys on vacation each week of the remaining 11 months.

The logistics are going to be hideous. I can't even wrap my brain around how they are going to get everyone reassigned. Good thing that's not my job!:scared:

Hi Paula, nice to see your typeface here!

Deb how exciting about the job at the post office! I checked ours after you mentioned this & naturally they are not hiring at the moment. I really could use a 2cd job to get through the holidays. This year just seems worse money wise & it is really stressing me out. I thought many times I should cancel my Dec. trip(feeling very guilty for spending money I shouldn't), but I just couldn't do it. So I will make it somehow & keep my fingers crossed that something comes available.

Rees is really sick with a 103 fever. His eardrum burst this am and is draining really yucky fluid. I work tonight, but John is back from the funeral so I can go. I had antibiotic drops and oral antibiotics, so we started those. If he's still running a high fever tomorrow then I will take him to the doctor.

It has been a rough 2 nights at work. I have the sickest baby they said I'll ever care for. She is truly suffering and is in multi organ failure, but the mom won't take her off support. She nearly died last night, but pulled through. We were so hoping she would go. Please pray that she does soon so that she can finally be at peace. It is so difficult watching her struggle so badly. My heart aches.

Prayers for the baby girl, I hope she is at peace soon
