The daily stress of getting this house sold & moving is really getting to me. Katie is acting up again..walked out without a kiss because I MADE her wear a jacket..hello it's 32 degrees!!! There's an older kid on Daniel's bus giving us a spot of bother, & general other nonsense.
Thank heavens I get to go to Disney with my DDA buddies otherwise I think I would just scream. I am so looking forward to the break from reality right now. I have to get something extra special for Dana when we go (maybe a stein in Germany?) since he moved things around & took vacation days to make it happen.

Katie would have done that whether you were moving or not. She did the same thing last year when you weren't moving.
Not sure what she has against wearing a jacket!
I hope the kid on the bus leaves Daniel alone!

Elizabeth -- the offer still stands to take kids to GWL, though I bet your DS would rather wait until DH can take time off and be there to have fun. We had a ball going down the slides! But, if you go the week that is cheaper, you could rent a cabana and then you'd have plenty of space and have a base for the boys to return to. Just a thought...

Thanks! I didn't know they had cabanas. I haven't seen that on the website. When I click to book a room it brings up all sorts of add-on packages but it never mentioned a cabana.
None of the add-ons are that cool. We are going to bring our own cake, I don't want to go down the path of arcade tokens, etc. The packages add about $100 to the price and none of them really fit our needs. I am sure DS will want to book a date that DH can be there, so the ball is really in DH's court. Things are completely up in the air right now - they haven't said when vacation bids will be, they haven't said how the "pilot program" will impact vacation scheduling, etc. I will wait a few more weeks and see if we think we can pull it together for 1/30, and if not I will book a different date.
I have one, but know that people are still having trouble finding them in stock. I did see a whole display of them somewhere over the weekend and was surprised. Maybe Sears?
Could be! We never go to the mall with the Sears anymore, so there is no telling what we might find there!
Today is Nicholas' field trip to Mt. Vernon. They should be arriving in about an hour so I'll head over to meet them then. It's going to be cold out there!

We have cooking today. Princess has requested NOT to enroll again. The first couple of times she liked it, but last week she seemed bored. She wasn't paying attention, squirmed in her chair, etc. She told Momboss she doesn't like cooking and doesn't want to do it anymore. I have been very careful not to say anything negative about cooking, because if she likes it I am happy to take her. I just don't think she really enjoys the class. I think she is going to do swimming lessons in the Spring so not doing cooking agin isn't a big deal.
I left a voice mail for the oncology nurse yesterday saying I want to talk about Mom's lymphedema, but they never called me back. Great. That means I will have to call them again and impress upon them the gravity of the situation.
