so I am thinking of doing finger foods for Jeff's Birthday party and having the party from 1pm to 5pm that way the out of town guest have the option of staying over night or going back home.

Well, no discount for DL. Oh well. Alan gets a corporate discount that is pretty good. Guess we'll stick with that.

Definitely not a good enough discount for me to talk my way into a trip next year. I'm pretty sure they ran something similar not too long ago.

Geez, you guys were very chatty today.

We have already rented points for our May trip and have AP's so the great deal won't do us any good.

We leave tomorrow and are planning on driving the truck that we have made maybe four payments on, DH came home this morning and said the service engine light came on. :headache:

Luckily he took tonight off so he took it to the dealer, turns out the thermastat had gone bad, they fixed it with no charge. I'm gonna consider it good luck that it happened, we could have been on the road.

Work was FUN today, our computer system crashed, causing my schedule to be totally thrown off. Good news is we leave TOMORROW! :cool1: :cool1:

Oh, and we have shirts :thumbsup2

I can't wait to hear all about your trip! I hope it is MAGICAL!

Have a great trip. We will all be waiting for a trip report since none of us are motivated to do much besides hang out here :rotfl:

I seriously have no motivation to do anything at all. Unfortunately, it really shows. I don't know what is wrong with me, but it appears I'm in good company. Sorry!

Well its a great deal, but we just can't do it.

Jennifer - If you go in May, when would it be?

Just for giggles, I checked airfare for the week my kids are off school in April. $4005 for the 5 of us!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Hi Lindsay!

Debbie I hope you have a wonderful trip!

I mixed a 1/4 cup of water with the cream of soup(I used celery)& then poured this on top of the dry stuffing mix.

This turned out really good, the pork chops are so tender! One thing next time I will be using boneless chops.

This sounds like something I could do, what is the time and temp to cook at. I might surprise the family, but I need all the directions.

did the stuffing mix go under or over the chops??

Over, here is the recipe :)

PORK CHOPS IN THE CROCK POT

6 Pork Chops
1 Dry Box of Stuffing Mix (StoveTop)
1 Medium Onion sliced (1/2 cup)
1 Can Condensed Cream of Celery Soup (10-3/4 oz)
1/4 Cup Water
Pepper to taste

Wash and place your pork chops in the Crock
Cover with the dry stuffing mix (along with the herb packet)
Next add the Onions
Condensed Soup (directly from the can)
1/4 Cup Water

Cover and cook all day (7-8 hours) LOW
OR 1/2 day (3-4 hours) HIGH

I also just used a sprinkle of diced onions instead of what was suggested.

Theresa sets it up every year. She was looking for one more last week, and I offered to take it. If you would like it, though, that's ok with me.

That's ok, I can wait till next time for something like this.

Jen-prayers for your Grandma

Theresa-

Anne Marie-sorry Katie is having a rough time- for you and her

I used to have a Christmas party every year (before kids) and I used to make these stuffed rolls. I bought frozen bread dough. I fried onions, bacon, and bell peppers. I broke up the thawed bread dough, made a circle, put a bit of the fried mix on it, folded up the sides of the circle making a roll then baked. They were really good. You can make ahead and freeze then heat up the day of the party. I think I have to make these again this year as we're doing Christmas here for the first time ever.

Did you book anything tonight?

I think this deal worked well for me. I had 6 nights booked in Jan at AKL CL with AAA room only discount. I changed that to 7 nights GV Poly with about $450 worth of tickets & $200 gift card for less than $100 more. Lizzy needs a ticket. I'll save mine for Jan 2010.

I also booked 7 nights AKL CL for 5/2 to 5/9 with 7 day tickets. I will need a new ticket for that trip and Joe will need a ticket too. So I got an extra night, regular season not value, and almost $450 worth of tickets for less than $300 more. When I called last week they said I couldn't book AKL CL with AAA so this was a great deal for me!!!!

Janet-let me know if I should add you to the room-you'd have to buy a 7 day ticket-about $233.

OH.....and I called Jet Blue and said I don't like my new 7am flight I want to go the day before so they made the change for free.:thumbsup2

we did it a bit earlier this year as there were some going to Disney World usually it's mid October. We'll look forward to you participating next year!!:goodvibes

Admittedly, my DVC skills are a bit rusty these days, but I'm pretty sure once you've borrowed points for a reservation, they remain in the UY of the reservation if canceled...

yep....borrowed points stay in the current use year....that's the one down side to doing that

Never mind. I was going to say when I borrowed points to cover the rest of my August ressie they told me they will now be part of the U/Y I moved them to.

No motivation here, either. :rolleyes1
