That's really what I'd rather do (2 week-long trips instead of 1 2-week one), but Kyle doesn't have vacation any other time and I can't hardly take the girls without him -- not exactly fair

If you borrowed from next year, they go back into next years U/Y -- you should be fine! Ours are from our current year, which is why we can't use them. They'd go back into this U/Y and we've missed our banking date.

Admittedly, my DVC skills are a bit rusty these days, but I'm pretty sure once you've borrowed points for a reservation, they remain in the UY of the reservation if canceled...

Colby and I started working on our exchange ornaments today. I think they will be pretty cute. Colby had me by a kit that makes the foamy snowmen. He was so cute working on them today. He was so proud of them. I hope his exchange person enjoys them

Well, no discount for DL. Oh well. Alan gets a corporate discount that is pretty good. Guess we'll stick with that.

It's the yearly exchange that Theresa sets up for us here. We swapped names a couple of months ago.

Oh. I don't really know either, but I vaguely remembered that a reservation canceled before 31 days or whatever goes back into whatever use year they came from. I didn't bother looking it up, though, since it's irrelevant now You're probably right, you've used your DVC membership a lot more than I have!

yep....borrowed points stay in the current use year....that's the one down side to doing that

points used for non dvc reservations have to be used at a non dvc resort. So if we book FW the need to cancel we have to use them in the current use year at a non dvc resort. That much I know.

We have already rented points for our May trip and have AP's so the great deal won't do us any good.

We leave tomorrow and are planning on driving the truck that we have made maybe four payments on, DH came home this morning and said the service engine light came on.

Luckily he took tonight off so he took it to the dealer, turns out the thermastat had gone bad, they fixed it with no charge. I'm gonna consider it good luck that it happened, we could have been on the road.


Work was FUN today, our computer system crashed, causing my schedule to be totally thrown off. Good news is we leave TOMORROW!

I mixed a 1/4 cup of water with the cream of soup(I used celery)& then poured this on top of the dry stuffing mix.

This turned out really good, the pork chops are so tender! One thing next time I will be using boneless chops.
