:sad2: but it is still snow! However, since it makes you very happy, I will allow that it is nice for you. But it is not even the middle of November yet!

and it's the second to latest day that we have had measurable snow. I am used to snow starting in October.

The other part that is making me happy is the local radio station started the Christmas music today:goodvibes and I have a party tomorrow so my house is going to be a little decorated for Christmas already. I am so happy to be looking forward to December instead of dreading it. :lovestruc

Do you have to finish the book now? Could you go help a bit and then come back in? I am all about peacemaking today, for some reason.

Yes, and I probably should. But he ticked me off by dismissing my project as petty and useless. Also, I'm afraid that the site will be a lot slower later this afternoon and evening like Deb and Janet dealt with last night.

He's actually mowing up the leaves now, so I won't be much use to him at the moment. I'll make nice later.

I was wondering the same thing. But, I also think of you as a peacemaker all of the time....are you saying I am wrong??:confused3

Ok, maybe I'll go out and help. I don't like conflict much, and it won't hurt me to take a break.

I just finish page 17, and I've used 84 of 264 photos. Hmmm...I guess I need to figure out what to do: keep going and have a very expensive "free" book, make this only a portion of the trip, switch subjects completely and start again. I'll ponder that while I help with yardwork, I guess.

Miles had a half day on Monday. All the kids had Tuesday off from school. Dh took a half day today. When do I get my "me" time this week? :rotfl:

So, even though I signed up for Facebook months ago, I'm just now putting some effort into it. Our pastor actually worked it into his sermon the other day, and Kevin's addicted now. :rotfl:

Can anyone make me a list of the DDA I should add to my friends? I don't want to miss anyone. :)

Also, how do I do the Flair thing?

Thank you for all your comments about our silly Halloween pictures. :goodvibes

I hope everyone has a good weekend! :grouphug:

I have a favor, please. :flower3:

The preschool classes at Alyssa's school are having a contest through the end of February. The class who brings in the most Box Tops for Education will win a party (ice cream or something like that). These labels are found on the packages of many products...sometimes they are really small.

If you aren't already collecting the box tops for your own kiddos/school, Alyssa and I would really appreciate if you could keep an eye out for these, and send them to us before the deadline of February 28th.

Here's a list of brands and products and the list is even more specific at:

http://www.boxtops4education.com/AboutBoxTops/Products.aspx#

Betty Crocker products
Pillsbury products
Bisquick
Hamburger Helper
Totino Pizza Rolls
General Mills Cereals (Chex, Cheerios, etc.)
Nestle Juicy Juice
Yoplait (Gogurt, kids yogurt, etc.)
Nature Valley Granola Bars
Ziplock
Saran Wrap
Cottonelle
Scott Bath Tissue
Kleenex
Hefty waste bags and paper products
Huggies (diaper, wipes, Pull-ups, Little Swimmers)

Thank you!
Alyssa and Amy :)

Let's see, our school does that, hood milk tops, shaw's grocery receipts, we joined the price chopper points for schools, can tabs, ink cartrigdes :rotfl: :rotfl: Good Luck

I remember what it was!!:lmao:

After going out to our celebration dinner and spending a ridiculous amount at Costco for food I bought a lottery ticket, powerball and state lotto ticket. I was throwing out the lottery ticket when I reread it and I actually won $40:banana:

congrats on the win see its looking up already:)

I'm sure this is just the beginning! :rotfl:

I just can't believe how many box tops I've thrown away over the years! I buy a lot of those products!

Elin

I just got a new Market Basket flyer in the mail. They have a complete Thanksgiving dinner for 8 - 10 people for $55. I called my mother, trying to convince her that it would be cheaper, not to mention easier to just buy it all done. She said that it would take all the fun out of Thanksgiving :confused3 :lmao: Crazy Lady.

I know what I'd do with 40 bucks Theresa...I'd go see Harry Connick Jr's Christmas show! :)

He's in town next week. Anyone want to babysit and loan us $80? :teeth:

I forgot the campbell's soup/franco American labels

We're going to a Stuffed Animal Sleepover tonight.

The kids get to take a stuffed animal to the Community Center to play games and have a snack. Then we leave the stuffed animals and pick them up in the morning. When we pick them up, they'll give us a scrapbook, depicting what the stuffed animals did all night. Hopefully, they'll behave themselves! ;)

I also am bringing a "back-up" stuffed animal, just in case a certain 2-year-old changes his mind about leaving Pooh Bear. :rotfl:

Amy I sent you an invite to facebook via email. once you get it and confirm then you can go to my friends and add the DDA's that have confirmed me as a friend. still waiting on Deb, and a couple of others I think.

Thanks! Is Anne-Marie our Anne-Marie? :)

I am doing the same thing Beth is making a album on snapfish. Mine is a compilation of Pics I have took of my girls, my nephew and my cousins girls over the past year. I will give it to my mom for Christmas.
