DDA Chapter 13

I've got a sick kid on my hands. When we got home Nicholas flat-lined on the couch, saying he was soooooo tired. When I felt him he was warm so I took his temp...102. Gave him some Motrin. I didn't take Alyssa to ballet so he could stay home. She did end up going to Religion with a friend of mine who also goes, and she lives in the subdivision right across the road from us. His temp is down to 99 now. He's also complaining of a sore throat and headache, plus he is slightly congested and wheezing. I'm debating whether or not I want to take him for a strep test tomorrow. I guess I'll just wait and see how things progress. I just hope it stays away from Alyssa.

Kristine - I am sorry Bill has no inner Hungarian.

Tammi - I hope Nicholas feels better soon! :wizard:

Becky - Who knows what Mini Tim Burton will want to do when he actually gets out of high school. :confused3 Right now he thinks he wants to do at least a semester at WDW, so we shall see.

After carefully reading through the choices I don't think I want to work for WDW after all. I bet I could build an absolutely kick-butt business doing in-room sitting. All word of mouth referrals, through the DIS, that sort of thing. Cash only, no WDW affiliation, work when I want to work, set my own rules as far as how many kids I will watch and what they are allowed to do while I am watching. I have read through the guidelines the sitting services have - they won't bathe kids and swimming is sitter's discretion, parks are also sitter's discretion but that wouldn't really be my target market. I will watch LITTLE kids and babies in their hotel room while the parents go to dinner and fireworks or something. Maybe. :rolleyes1 Or maybe not. We'll have to see how I feel about it in a few years.

Oh no! I hope he feels better quickly, and that you and Alyssa stay well!

off to chain myself to the frying pan....I promised the kids I would make Palascsinta (Hungarian Crepes). Easy recipe...but time consuming....and Mr. Bill doesn't like them. I told him to get in touch with his Hungarian side, but he isn't buying into it. Eggs for him I guess.....

I had to look this up, they sound good!

Jen hope you feel better in the morning :wizard:

Tammi hope Nicholas is better soon :wizard:

Becky how long did you work at Disney?

Elizabeth starting a babysitting business in the Fl. sounds perfect for you!

It is only 8 & I am ready to go to bed, yawn. This is why I really do not like this time of year, it gets dark to early!

Chuck went to bed early last night and wanted me to go with him. I didn't fall asleep until 11pm. Tonight I could go to bed now.

maybe I will put on my Gypsy outfit tonight and see if I can motivate him :rotfl2:

I still talk to the lady that baby sat for Jonathan in WDW when he was a toddler....you'd have a ton of business

I love crepes. I remember when I took French in 7th grade we had a cooking day and the teacher brought in an electric skillet and made us all crepes. Yummy!

Gary put some of the tile down on the counters & the walls in the kitchen last night. Today he grouted them, it is looking so nice :yay:

He has worked so hard on this remodeling & I am so proud of him :goodvibes

Once it is closer to be completed I will post more pictures.

It sounds like a lot of us had trouble sleeping last night.

I can't wait to see the finished product, Janet. I bet it's going to be beautiful!

I can't wait to have my stove back lol But yes I think it is going to look very beautiful!

Tammi- Here's some :wizard: for Nicholas. And for Alyssa too :wizard: , so that she doesn't get it too.

Vicki- Continued 's and :wizard: this week.

Elizabeth- Your son is not a dingbat. :goodvibes

Jennifer- I love the pics of the girls!! Lucy didn't want anything to do with cereal until almost 7 months. She would just stick her tongue out with the blob of cereal. And I love that you and Kyle are getting so much wonderful time together. :goodvibes

Theresa- Sorry work continues to be such a drag.'s

Kristine- Dinner sounds delicious. My grandmother used to make us crepes for Saturday morning breakfast after bowling. But we were so worldly and called them "Big Pancakes"

Janet- Can't wait to see your new kitchen!!

For those I missed,'s and :wizard:
