It seems to be hitting most of us

I have a very bad sore throat and my stomach was upset last night. My stomach was fine all day but my throat is getting worse.

So here's a thought. We don't have to continue this thread to 250 pages. We can stop posting here anytime we want and start chapter 14. I'm not a big fan of 13 either, ever since I put $13 of gas in my car and then immediately broke down on my way to PA for my wedding. Should have been a sign, huh?

Maybe getting out of Chapter 13 will de-possess Marci's house!

That's cheating and I love the #13.

okay Vicki, I just had to go into our local Starbucks store and they had the Halloween bear. His pumpkin outfit was just the cutest, so I had to get it. It is a little more tight than the one that Chuckie already has, but it was so darn cute.

I'll be stopping at the Starbucks down here. Enabler!!!!!

that was very smart of you!! Jim's cousin was so traumatized when she hit one that she actually quit college and it took forever before she even drove on that road again (which is really hard to do when you live in a tiny town and that's the only road to the next biggest town)

Hitting deer in the U.P. is basically just a rite of passage for us. There are so many of them that most people aren't going to make it without hitting one at least by the time they are 30. The hardest thing for us is to learn NOT to swerve. That causes the most deaths related to deer. It isn't usually the accident with the deer but the swerving and losing control.

My dad used to hit one almost every year because he worked for the Michigan Department of Transportation and spent a lot of time travelling the roads making sure they were clear and safe for driving.

You will be happy to know that Pearl's fur is coming back in very, very quickly. She is happy too because I may just let her outside again this weekend (didn't want her to suffer the humiliation of the cat world with her buzz cut )

I hope all of you feel better soon, respiratory illnesses SCARE me.

I had an appointment with my pulmonologist today, all is well and I got my flu shot. He wants to try and decrease my meds but we are going to wait until after the cold and flu season.

I forgot to tell you all that my child and her bandmates decided last week that I am their write in choice for President of the United States.

Their reasoning you ask?

a) I am the band mom that feeds them
b) I am old enough
c) and Cassidy told them I'd been on the PTO long enough
