DDA Chapter 11

I have to tell you, I think finding a large enough estate is going to be a problem. A search for Orlando pulls up nothing larger than 7 bedrooms. There is one that recently sold that has 12 bedrooms, and it was only $11 million. I found another really cool one for $37 million, but it isn't that close to WDW. There was another one for about $14 million that had 16 bedrooms, but again, not THAT close to WDW. We might have to build something.

Considering DVC would cost $2.6 million for one studio, a staffed house might work out to be less expensive. Possibly. :rolleyes1

I know! So, since you have had even more time to look into this than I have... you can contact the contractor and have the plans drawn up and find the lot and supervise the building of our mansion. Or, we can all go together and buy a bunch of DVC points! :thumbsup2

Can someone help me think of some mantra to repeat before I throttle DH? For the life of him he can not seem to grasp the process of posting photos and he is going to drive me up a tree! :headache:
He's mad that I posted "his" photos, but he SHOULD be GRATEFUL that they are already in Photobucket so all he has to do is copy and paste the code!:headache:

Janet, Beth, Tammi and Anne Marie can you PM your Photopass pics? Pretty please!!

I am waiting for my cd & then I can share. I went in on a photo pass share & other peoples pictures(I do no know them)were on the site as well.

I do have a link for the pictures I took if you would like to see them.

Since Disney sold 298 acres to 4 seasons why couldn't they sell some to us :confused3 They're aren't using the tree house villas. I'm sure a little home improvement and we could use those. We could have our own little community rather than one Mansion. ;)

ooohhh... I like this idea. We could buy the Treehouse Villas and have a ball fixing them up!

So which ride would you choose?

The boys and I choose Expedition Everest. We could live inside the mountain and we'd have a spectacular view from the top. We could even view the Savannah.

We all said no way to It's a small World :lmao:

Haunted Mansion of course :thumbsup2

Elizabeth if you chose this, we can share!

I would run the movie in France and live in an apartment above!

DS also brought home a packet about going to Washington, DC. In JUNE. For 3 days, to the tune of $1500! :scared1: Registration deadline is Oct. 31. Gee, let me think. NO! Definitely NOT. I will look at the packet but I am really not interested in sending him. Of course he is already arguing that ALL of his friends are going. I doubt it. DH said it will be like ALL of his friends going on the band trip to Six Flags. In the end almost NONE of his friends went! And that didn't cost $1500!

Garrett mentioned this last year & then we both sorta forgot about it. I felt really bad as some of his friends did go & they said they had a lot of fun. Our cost was $1200. I'm sure Riley will have the opportunity as well & if he really wants to go I will let him if we have the funds.

Things seem to be coming together for NC...If so, we will be at Disney early to mid August!:thumbsup2

that is very exciting, Anne Marie. Raleigh or Charlotte?

Tell Dana congratulations from Bob and me! :goodvibes

Chanon & Janet,

From Allears..(oohhh QUEEN beds!)
Coronado Springs Resort is undergoing some upgrades over the next several months. The resort is in the process of replacing its double beds with queens (the Rancho section is complete, as are Casitas 4 & 5). In addition there will be new furniture to suit modern tastes, but still in theme. One hundred rooms will get upgraded to king beds (CSR will then have 224 king rooms). All of the rooms are getting flat screen TVs. Tables are being replaced with desks so that floor space is preserved after putting in larger beds. In addition to these room changes, one Coronado Springs building will be transformed into a "Business Club" building. All Business Club Level rooms will have two queen-size beds or one king-size bed, desk and chair, vanity area with sink, a ceiling fan and a bathroom. These rooms offer views of the lake, courtyard or parking lot. Business Club Level services include personalized Front Desk and Guest Services, turndown service and a lounge with continental breakfast, midday snacks and evening wine (additional fee) and cheese. Amenities include DVD player, in-room wall safe, voice mail, data port, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, mini-fridge, robes and coffee maker. A crib is available upon request. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. Most of these updates are being made with a minimal impact on guests.

That is very cool news. I had not read my newsletter yet. We really like CS and this might push us into booking it more often.

Chris and I went back on our diet today. We haven't done so since early in the summer and it really shows. I guess my Mother did too, but we had no idea that the other was planning to do so :rotfl: We've been really good, but I must say that I'm really hungry and we already ate. I did make a pot of low point soup so we can snack on that later. Hopefully we can stick to it now that the kids are back in school. If I don't loose weight before winter I will need new pants:scared:

I know the feeling, my weight is really creeping up on me!

Deb - Good luck with your diet!
I didn't gain weight at WDW, but I have porked out a bit since we got home. Or maybe it was a delayed gain from WDW. Anyway, I could definitely stand to take off about 10 pounds. I won't do it, but it would be a good idea.

Jennifer, Vicki, Janet (Riley), Marti, and Heidi - Your pins are in the mail!

Elizabeth JMO, but I do not think you need to lose any weight!

Yea for the pin, I promise to get yours mailed!

Awesome, I can't wait :yay:
