tomorrow AM. She hasn't asked about the test and I usually take the attitude that being prepared is the best thing. But drinking that awful chalky white liquid is just the pits, no way around it. She has to be NPO after midnight. She'll have to drink a lot of water afterward and I'm tempted to keep her out of school all day just so she's able to. They can't have water bottles in school. She had her gall bladder out in September because of abd pain and it turned out to be inflamed. Now they're looking for an ulcer because she's having pain again and sometimes throws up for no apparent reason.
So any prayers and positive throughts you can send her way to help her get through this will be appreciated.

I have had the upper gi several times. The last time (couple months ago) it wasn't nearly as bad as it was years ago. For one, the drink didn't seem to taste as bad. (altho it is still pretty bad) I was able to get through it a lot easier.
I'm glad things went well this morning.
