DD 5th grade graduation!

I don't know about anyone else, but our elementary school makes a big deal out of "graduating" from 5th grade and going into 6th grade (middle school) They have a big ceremony for them, a celebration for them that includes an afternoon on the front lawn with a DJ and catered lunch, and a chorus performance on the last day of school with a last walk through the hallways of the school (not a dry eye on any of the teachers or parents). I have gotten my DD a graduation present of tickets to
Hillary Duff's concert in our area (with myself and DH taking her and a friend) I don't know if I can keep it a secret for 2 more days!

I want to tell her so BAD!!

Sounds like FUN! We don't get a thing. Not even for 8th grade...only high school.
